ATTENTION: "DISCORD PORTAL" SERVER INVITE LINK REQUEST FORM TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Although I have managed to reclaim my respective Discord account itself as of 4/9/2024, we're still doing some backend "recovery efforts" before we start accepting Discord server invite link requests again. More details here; your patience and understanding in advance is greatly appreciated.

Still Alive on the Backend; Here's Where Things Stand So Far

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 - 05:56 PM

Topic says all, faithful friends/followers/listeners of these beloved music operations; but please keep in prayer for me because outside of this place, the "real life adversarial forces" have been hitting me with depression attacks/roadblocks like you wouldn't believe. But I've been fighting them all both outside these operations as well as within because I'm more than determined to get back into that Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove itself before this 2021 year itself is in the history books entirely.

Case in point to let you know I'm not lying: take a look at the recent update on our "Music Arrangements Progress Page". Nope, you're not dreaming; if all things go according to plan and I get a much clearer head as the month progress, you may be seeing announcements from me in regards to at least two or three new game pages going up for this section of our "home base website". Here's a hint: one of those upcoming game pages targets music for a certain game installment that was released for the Nintendo Switch console systems a few months back. And music arrangement procedure wise on the progress end, it's been slowly going welll; that said, I've yet to find more candidates in hopes I can add to the "starter set" for the upcoming game page there. As always, there's still no ETA on when I'll finalize this stuff for sharing with you all, but I will definitely let you know when we're closing in on that point to clear said backlog.

In the meantime, I'm still rechecking this same page (as well as my planbook) to decide which upcoming song covers I've been working on to snag the opportunities to get done and bring the queue number down (because at the date and time of this posting, there are now 21 song targets currently in the said queue). It feels like a repeat of history (because this kind of thing happened when COVID-19 literally messed with everyone's plans last year), but I'm more than certain that I'll find a way to get through this again and get this backlog down to near zero.

Meanwhile, as I have stated in previous blog entries, I'm still waiting to hear from all of you in regards to what possible song targets do you think I should consider for upcoming Super Nintendo song style covers (but remember, it's not to be treated as a "request" method). As stated in the current floated announcement on this site, you're able to see about going to the "Song Suggestions Form Page" and let me know which songs in question you hope I'll see about doing.

Until then, I definitely appreciate your heartfelt patience at this time; as always, if you have any further questions after reading this blog entry, please don't hesitate to contact me via main email; also, remember our other "social media portals" to get in touch with me via TwitterDiscordSoundcloud, and IRC (via EsperNet). Take care until next time, and continue to stay safe and definitely hydrated during these hot and challenging summer months. I'm gone for now.

August 2021 Greetings: Still Sorting Out Backend Plans; Hoping To Return To The "Music Arrangement Groove" Very Soon

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, August 2, 2021 - 09:59 PM

Title says all, everyone - we have now officially started the month of August! Well, it actually began yesterday, but it fell on a weekend and I only snagged the chance to do this formal monthly greetings post tonight.

Here's where things stand right now: I'm still currently sorting things out on the backend of these music operations and examining my music arrangement covers "target list". The only thing that stands in my way at this time: yep, you've got it, the "real life situations". In fact, as I'm writing this, I'm having to deal with getting ready with two things that I have to deal with before I proceed further in clearing my music arrangement backlog: a doctor's appointment scheduled for the middle of this week as well as meeting with someone afterwards to deal with the application process for a possible "job candidate". Keeping fingers crossed that there will be some breakthroughs here.

That all said, I'm still hoping when all these roadblocks are out of the way and my mind is cleared up to a much better level, I can see about which songs to focus on making additional progress on because I know that you all are wondering when new Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers will be coming as we slowly count down the remaining months of this year. Remember that you can view this page to see where things stand in regards to upcoming covers that I've been working on.

Also, once again, repeating an excerpt of what I've wrote in this previous post: I'm still waiting to hear from many of you faithful friends/followers in regards to which songs you hope I'll do Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers of related to the games of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (mainly in regards to the "Bowser's Fury" side of the game) as well as the recently released Mario Golf: Super Rush installment. For more details, made sure to read the first portion of this article; then, submit your "song candidate suggestions" in regards to one or both of these aformentioned game installments via this form here.

That's all for now regarding this "formal monthly greetings" post entry; as always, thanks in advance for your help in the process of keeping this operation going as we forge ahead during this new month of August. As always, make sure that you have this site itself bookmarked so you don't miss any new happenings from yours truly (along with submitting your follwer/join requests via Twitter and/or Discord, as well as even joining us via IRC via EsperNet). Take care until I see you all again next posting; I'm gone for now.

A Few Quick Reminders As We Close Out July 2021

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, July 31, 2021 - 07:18 AM

Hi there, everyone; as you faithful followers/visitors may have already been aware, yours truly has been dealing with a lot of "real life situations" outside of this place (and they were literally attacking me hard). At this time, I'm still slowly sorting them all out, but I still haven't forgotten about you all as well as checking music operations activity on the backend because I'm determined to get back in the swing of things as we begin a new month next week. Until then, a few quick reminders:

(1) Still Needing "Suggestions" for New Song Covers Related to "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury" / "Mario Golf: Super Rush"
As I have elaborated in previous posts (especially some recent ones), I'm still wanting to hear from you in regards to getting new "song candidate suggestions" involving stuff from both "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury" and "Mario Golf: Super Rush". You're able to let me know which songs you hope that I'll target from these two installments by going to this page and filling out the details.

Two things to note:
* For any "song candidate suggestions" involving stuff from the "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury" game, make sure to choose the respective dropdown option in question 2A. Another reminder that it is planned for songs that were heard in the "Bowser's Fury" side of the game to have its own separate page (which will be split from this game page when the time comes).

* For any "song candidate suggestions" involving stuff from "Mario Golf: Super Rush", since there isn't a game page here on this site yet to house Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers that I plan to do, make sure to note said game title itself by filling out question 2B of the form (and that's after selecting "None of these" from question 2A). Let me also give a quick "thank you" to some of you who are confirmed followers who gave me a quick "shout out" from the related poll that I posted there recently regarding one possible candiate (however, unfortunately none of the polls got any votes after one week; I'm not sure if that's a sign, but at least I still know that I'm not the only one who's into the songs that were done for Mario Golf: Super Rush).

(2) Still In Search of New Followers for our Twitter/Discord/IRC Portals!
So, recently on our music operation's Twitter Portal area, we managed to pick up two new followers (very huge thanks to those people for submitting your requests). But we're still in need of more... no just from this angle, but the Discord and IRC angles as well. Once again, if you meet all of this criteria, then we need you to join us so you won't miss a thing from yours truly about these operations (and meeting with others who are for these endeavors as well). As always, for our Twitter, head for this page and submit a follower request there; to join our server at the Discord, head for this page to submit a temporary invite link request. And if you an IRC user on the EsperNet network, you're able to join us here too.

But don't forget that for those of you who do submit follower/join requests for the Twitter and Discord areas of these music operations, I won't be able to get to processing them until this coming Monday since I'm posting this entry on the weekend before preparing to switch gears for my overall agenda for today.

Until then, thanks to all of you in advance for your time in reading this entire announcement post and responding accordingly as we prepare for a new month in less than 24 hours from now. Take care until I see you all again next week, and definitely keep well and hydrated during this very hot summer period that we're dealing with at this time. I'm out for now.

"Mario Golf: Super Rush" - Twitter Poll Thread Regarding Possible Music Cover Plans Regarding Opening Cinematic

Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, July 25, 2021 - 10:44 PM

This was shared on our music operation's Twitter Portal a few days ago, but I've only snagged the chance during the final hours of the current weekend (Sunday night to be exact) to make a formal blog entry announcement post here for all visitors/faithful listeners.

In case you weren't aware, a few days ago, the Nintendo of America folks have recently shared the opening cinematic that waits to be seen when Mario Golf: Super Rush has been loaded up in your respective Nintendo Switch console. That video in question is able to be seen here, and it's definitely a good one overall which demonstrated one of the modes waiting to be checked out in the game itself. As you can tell, there are corresponding images accompanying this post (which one can be seen above this paragrah and the rest seen below) because I'm sure I'm not the only one who knows who really demonstrated this aspect the best for all of us.

But to the main focus on this post itself: for those of you who are confirmed followers of our Twitter profile account, a poll thread was posted to ask if you all think I should see about attempting doing a Super Nintendo music styled cover of the opening cinematic theme music that was also heard in the same video. The thread itself in question can be seen here; there are a total of two questions - the first one to get concensus from you all if I should consider doing said process, and the second to find out which Super Nintendo music instrument set (from this list, of course), would be the best one to choose if I really do make the attempt.

Be forewarned, though: as of the date and time of this posting, there are only three days left for both polls on this thread; they are currently set to close before the end of this Thursday (7/29/'21), so if you haven't place in your votes in these said polls in question, please do so. And to those who have, thank you.

As always, and as a quick reminder, if you are not following us at our music operation's Twitter profile account, please don't hesitate to visit our account's profile page and submit a request for access; I'll review any new ones that I may receive during the course of Monday - Friday (excluding major holidays) so that you won't miss any new happenings that may come from yours truly regarding music operations activity as a whole. Many thanks again for your support in advance, and I'll see you all again next time around. I'm out.
