Quick Reminder of Available "Site Contact Forms" / Still Searching For New "Community Members"!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, December 5, 2020 - 10:01 AM

Hey there, and happy Saturday morning to all of you faithful supporters/followers/music listeners of these beloved operations. Although I am currently in the "weekend mode" at this time, I wanted to make sure and give a quick reminder of the available forms that you folks are still able to access in any event you need to send possible inquiries my way that need investigating upon my reception of them, especially between now and the end of this year (and especially as we enter the 2021 year) as I continue my music arrangement file backlog clearing efforts. It is also currently planned to see about getting this page spruced up because it's been way overdue for an update; the hope is that it'll be the "main hub" for the links to available forms here on the site. Until then, the currently active ones are listed below:

"Main Website Inquiries" Form - This is as the title says the "main" area of contact if there are any matters involving the maintaining of this website itself including the music file links from our "Gallery List" pages.

"Plagiarism File Reporting" Form - In the event that you all run into any site outside of here that's using our Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover content without our proper authorizations, you're able to let me know about said case here so I can investigate on it further and take action on it if necessary. But please make sure to check out the "site exceptions" paragraph first before filling out said form.

"Suggestion Form: Song Candidate Submissions" - This is for if you've found a certain "song cadidate" from a certain Mario series game installment (or a "branched" installment) which you'll hope that I'll possibly consider in the future to do a Super Nintendo music style arrangement of. But remember, as the page itself says there "only possible candidates from the 'modern' Mario games (main or branched) will be honored" (which include installments down for the Wii, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, and certain mobile installments).

"Suggestion Form: Featured Mario Game Installments / SNES Music Instrument Sets" - This is one of the more important "suggestion forms" implemented because I still need many of you to let me know what featured Mario game installments (main and/or branced) that you've been keeping tabs on hoping for me to do new music covers of (both main/spinoff installments), along with what featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets you're mostly familiar with as I do new covers themselves in the SNES arrangement style. If you haven't done so already, definitely don't hesitate to let me know on this angle; this is to also help me plan for the remainder of this year and especially as we enter the 2021 year itself.

Also, another quick side reminder that for the "Plagiarism Report Form" and the "Mario Game Installments / SNES Music Instrument Sets" suggestion form, any submissions made from those have your IP address internally recorded in an effort to prevent abuse/duplicate submissions.

Another side note: in the case of the "Forum Portal" part of this site, I'm still waiting for the chance to definitely get back on the matter so we can finally get this back online for the 2021 year; until then, the email form links (and the form itself) are temporarily closed for the time being. But make no mistake, they'll be reactivated when the respective part of this site gets back online again. When that happens, I'll obviously let you all know in another separate posting, so stay tuned on that.

And finally, for the second part of this blog entry - we definitely still need new members to join all of our "interactive community" portals including DiscordTwitterSoundCloud, and even our IRC Channel (on EsperNet). Remember that for the "Discord" and "Twitter" portals, you still are subject to an "approval process" to verify that you're a legitimate person that matches this criteria (and to weed out possible troublemakers who have abused/disrupted these communities before). Any new "join/follow request inquiries" that I receive after this posting today will be reviewed during the course of the next work week itself (starting on 12/7/'20). That all said, and as stated very earlier in this entry, you all don't want to miss a thing when new music arrangement postings from yours truly get added, so make sure that you snag the opportunity now to join yours truly at these aforementioned portals (and be with others who have that same interest along with you as well). And once again, I'm very sure that you all won't be disappointed in terms of what's coming down the line in the next few weeks, so stay tuned here as well!

Until then, I have to get going and deal with my "weekend routine" outside of these beloved operations; thanks once again to everyone for your continued support in advance and I'll see you all next week. Later, awesome people!

December 2020 Greetings: Into The Christmas Holidays "Home Stretch"!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 - 08:42 PM

It's winter time with Princess Peach and Princess Daisy, along with their Toad friends as they're building a Mario themed snowman! (Image courtesy of Nintendo)

Finally snagged the chance to get this final "formal monthly greetings entry" written up for the home base website of these beloved music operations, awesome people. And this isn't any ordinary "monthly greetings" entry; no, sir! This has special "corresponding images" attached with it (which are Mario series related, of course!). Why is this, you all ask? Look at the subject of this blog entry in question: we have now reached the final month of this year, as well as the very critical "Christmas holidays" period. This is the "home stretch" for all of us, and yours truly is more than ready to get into it full force. We've made progress during the latter part of the previous month posting first Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the scores of Paper Mario: Color Splash and Paper Mario: The Origami King, and there's no chance that our efforts to bring the majority of this backlog down is going to diminish any time soon.

So this is what I'm trying to deal with during the course of this final month of the year: once again, I'm currently examining this same page to plan out my next steps in getting the majority of new Super Nintendo music style arrangements posted for you all to check out between now and the end of this month (and especially before 2020 is officially in the history books; my gosh, what a roller coaster ride it has been for all of us! And as you can already tell, we have the blasted COVID-19 pandemic to blame for it all). Now, details are still under lock and key in regards to what upcoming arrangements are next to be posted and shared with you all; however, I will state that as I may have "hinted" in previous entries, some of them are going to have new featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets in play. You'll find out in due time what they are as the days forge ahead; stay tuned for that.

On a side note, earlier this morning as I was changing my wall calendars for this new month, one of them was featuring visuals for the highly acclaimed Mario adventure installment for the Nintendo Switch installment, Super Mario Odyssey. Can you believe that for our beloved music operations housing Super Nintendo styled covers for this score, it's been a little over two years since yours truly snagged the opportunity to get into this groove and "do the Odyssey" in this regard? And if this below picture is any clue, it can only tell me that there are even more candidates to be found. And could the stuff that I'm already working on and/or are in the "standby queue" be the ones to get posted during the course of this month too? God only knows the answer to that. We'll see what happens.

That all said, and this may be just my personal opinion, but from the above visual of this month of December from said calendar (which I forgot to mention is from Super Mario: History of a Hero 2020 Calendar, manufactured/published by Abrams Books), there are two parts that really, really matter as far as I'm concerned.

And with that, I think it's best to stop here before I really say too much. Bottom line: you definitely don't want to miss out on what's about to be shared between now and the end of this month to conclude a very tumultous year in our lifetimes. I can assure you that you won't be disappointed. Until then, all of you please continue to stay safe wherever you are, keep it bookmarked on this page, and I'll see you all on the next entry. Later, awesome people! I'm gone.

New Game Page Added: "Paper Mario: The Origami King" (With 10 New Music Arrangement Additions)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 30, 2020 - 03:23 PM

And right on cue to close out this month of November, our "backlog clearing" efforts for these beloved music operations continue in full force, awesome people! This time around, a new game page has been added housing Super Nintendo music style arrangements covering the score of Paper Mario: The Origami King.

As the blog entry title states, there are a total of 10 covers that I've done involving certain songs from this Nintendo Switch game in question for this update today, including the following:

Picnic Road (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
Graffiti Underground (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
Snif City (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
Temple of Shrooms: "M-A-X Power!" (using the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time instrument set)
Paper Macho Gooper Blooper (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
Peach's Castle Transformed into Origami Castle (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
Origami Castle (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
King Olly Fight - Phase 3 ("Restore the Magic Circle!") (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
Game Over (Main Jingle) (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)
Game Over (Menu Choices) (using the Disney's Aladdin instrument set)

I'll be possibly updating this post regarding the related update made to our "Music File Statistics" rankings document as a result of the new music arrangement postings here, but I can tell you right now that like the update made to it last week, it got rocked again today with one Super Nintendo music instrument set making a big jump and another one being "tied" with a competing set. Stay tuned on that front.

Until then, as always, if you have any problems with accessing of these files, please make sure to let me know of the case so I can get on it in a timely manner. Thanks in advance, all, and I'll see you folks next posting!

New Game Page Added: "Paper Mario: Color Splash" (With 8 New Music Arrangement Additions)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 23, 2020 - 07:43 PM

Slightly imitating the "styling" of the beloved Al Roker from the NBC TODAY morning news show: "WE'RE BACK, BABY!"

Technically, yours truly has been technically back in the Super Nintendo music style arrangement sharing groove since my last posting, but that was nothing compared to this.

That's right, awesome people, it's time to at last start clearing out the majority of this backlog! And it starts with our also adding our newest featured game page for these operations which are housing the eight new Super Nintendo music instrument arrangement covers that I've done targeting the score related to Paper Mario: Color Splash (which as the majority of you know was the final Mario game installment developed for Nintendo's Wii U console). As for the new file postings themselves, they are the following (along with the featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets that were used for each one):

Prologue (The Mysterious Letter and Dangerous Voyage) (Batman Returns (SNES Version - Konami))
Sunset Express (Inspector Gadget)
Fortune Island (The Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES Version - Konami))
Fortune Island (Boss Fight - Wendy) (The Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES Version - Konami))
Fort Cobalt (Boss Fight - Ludwig) (Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!)
Black Bowser's Castle (Arrival at Entrance) (Batman Returns (SNES Version - Konami))
Black Bowser's Castle (Lobby/Princess Peach Found and "Color Drained"!) (Super Castlevania IV)
Black Bowser's Castle (Main Theme) (Batman Returns (SNES Version - Konami))

And on a side note, because of these new additions that were added tonight, our "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document has started to get it's first "major shakeup"; however, I doubt it's going to be the last between now and the end of this year. For the "Featured Mario Game Installments" portion of the document, Paper Mario: Color Splash makes its debut at the #16 rank (with the eight new arrangements that I've posted) which is tied with Mario Kart Arcade GP DX (which also has a total of eight Super Nintendo music style arrangement postings that I've done covering that game as well). On the "Featured Super Nintendo Music Instrument Sets" portion, certain music instrument sets have made some jumps as a result as well; notably: Batman Returns (SNES Version - Konami), Super Castlevania IV (Konami), and The Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES Version - Konami). Could there be any more shakeups to come as more new covers get posted in the coming weeks? We'll have to wait and see.

Until then, as always, if you have any problems with accessing and listening to these newest covers listed above, please don't hesitate to let me know about the matter so I can look into the matter and rectify it as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your patience, everyone, and take care until next music update announcement posting!
