ATTENTION: "DISCORD PORTAL" SERVER INVITE LINK REQUEST FORM TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Although I have managed to reclaim my respective Discord account itself as of 4/9/2024, we're still doing some backend "recovery efforts" before we start accepting Discord server invite link requests again. More details here; your patience and understanding in advance is greatly appreciated.

Still Sorting Out Backend Matters; New Music Arrangement Postings Coming During Next Week (Hopefully...)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 23, 2024 - 04:39 PM

Good afternoon, friends; hope things are going okay on your end as we're starting to slowly make our way towards bringing this month of February to a close. As for yours truly, I've still been fighting like heck to get music operations related stuff sorted out on the backend so that we can get new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement postings under way for this year at last.

Case in point: what I am really hoping for is that during the course of next week, we can focus on getting certain stuff that has been waiting for finalization (as shown on this page) taken care of so we can put a dent in the respective planbook backlog. That means the upcoming covers that focused on songs from WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Mario Kart Tour are currently on my radar. Not only that, I'm also hoping that I can finish yet another cover targeting a certain song from Mario Tennis Aces that was on my planbook's radar for months as well. As always, I'll keep you folks posted on when said new covers do get posted, so make sure to check on back.

In other news tying with this same post, I still haven't forgotten about making plans to work on our music operations' formal "anniversary statement" for 2024; as you all are already aware, other "priorities" have been getting in the way - one being the "Discord account crisis" that's still been dominating and interfering with my overall groove, and getting ready for a certain game installment to hit store shelves in a big way next month (the latter on which will be elaborated on in a seperate post shortly). Back to the point on this paragraph: the online suggestion form related to making preparations to write that crucial document will be making a comeback soon for you folks to let me know what you hope will be addressed on it (as well as how it should be presented). I'll let you folks know in a seperate announcement posting when said form does returned, so stay tuned on this angle as well.

Once again, I thank all of you in advance for your patience as I'm still continuing to literally a bunch of adversarial forces since late last month who have been bent like heck in hopes that yours truly would collapse like you-know-what. But with God as my witness, I'm not letting that happen. We're determined to get through this, and we're going to win the fight so I can get my overall music operations groove back full force. In the meantime, and as always, if you have any further questions about what's been shared on this posting itself, please don't hesitate to let me know via this main contact form. See you awesome people later.

Marking Our 14th Anniversary / Where Things Stand Now / Correspondence Reminder for 2/19/2024

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, February 17, 2024 - 01:46 PM

Snagging the chance this afternoon to let you awesome and faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations as a whole know that on this day fourteen years ago, yours truly started this endeavor doing Super Nintendo music styled covers of modern songs from certain Super Mario series game installments (main, spinoff, and branched). And despite some setbacks that I'm currently dealing with at this time (which were already elaborated on in previous posts), I'm still on that mission today and haven't regretted any moment of the process. Once again, I still thank the Lord for giving me this musical talent in general that I never take for granted and I also thank those of you who are still supporting yours truly who are both fans of Nintendo's Super Mario video game series as a whole, as well as those who also share that same passion with me to do the Super Nintendo music styled treatment of the "modern" Mario series game installments to this day (from the Nintendo Wii consoles all the way up to the Nintendo Switch console). Here's hoping we'll make it to the 15th anniversary next year!

Now to do a quick follow-up on where things stand at this time: first, during the course of one to two days ago, yours truly has managed to get the necessary backups of this site and other related backend materials up to date (which was announced here). Now the only hope is that during the second half of this month (and especially after the upcoming "President's Day" holiday on Monday), we can get things rolling on getting new music arrangement cover content posted. As you can see from our "Music Arrangements Progress Page", I'm hoping that we can get the upcoming stuff targeting songs from WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Mario Kart Tour posted on their respective pages before the end of this month. Remember that there were a few "hints" that were given in regards to what I might have been targeting as of late song wise between the two games; if you haven't seen those "clues" in question, please refer to this previous post.

And finally, although I'm still currently in the "weekend mode" at this time, I must remind you all that this coming Monday is a holiday as well (more specifically, "President's Day"); so that means that any music operations related correspondence from you all that gets received between now and 2/19/2024 will be reviewed the following Tuesday (2/20/2024). Just also keep in mind that I'm still dealing with getting some other major setbacks at this time, which especially includes the issues I have with Discord and my account that was hacked nearly month ago (which also is the reason why our invite link form is still temporarily closed at this time; more details can be read here if you didn't check that announcement out yet). You're still able to get a hold of me on any of the other active online forms which can be accessed from this page, however.

That's all for now as I have to step out and switch gears back to my general "weekend mode" routine. But once again, many thanks to all of you who are still standing with me on these passionate endeavors fourteen years later, and here's to many more Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers of modern Super Mario (main/spinoff/brached) songs to come. Take care until next time around, awesome people; I'm out.

"Valentine's Day" Greetings for 2024 / Where Things Stand So Far on the Backend

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 - 01:39 PM

Good afternoon, friends; just snagging the opportunity to write this blog entry posting and give a shoutout to all of you on this awesome "Valentine's Day". That being said already, I'm still hard at work on the backend dealing with operations material backups as we speak; progress has been made in terms of getting the entire site backed up during the course of yesterday. I just have to find the time hopefully later on tonight or during the course of tomorrow to get my "tracker source files" backup disc up to date before I proceed with finally preparing to start our new music arrangement content postings for 2024 (after we have marked our "anniversary" itself in just a few days from now).

So far, the plan is according to our "Music Arrangement Progress Page" to get the latest stuff that I worked on targeting songs from "WarioWare: Smooth Moves" and "Mario Kart Tour" posted and cleared off the backlog there. Details are still under lock and key so far in regards to what has been targeted, but here are a few hints:

* For WarioWare: Smooth Moves, the "batch" is targeting an overall "theme" for yet another microgame host who is female.
* For Mario Kart Tour, the music cover that I was working on is targeting an alternate "varient" of a highly addictive course theme song (and no, I didn't have to call on the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge instrument set to do this one!).

As always, when the stuff does get posted onto their respective pages on this site, I'll let you all know.

Finally, although I might elaborate on this further in future posts, you all remember when I stated on this "Year in Review (2023)" article that "[a certain game] in question definitely has my attention big time" which "has a late March 2024 release date attached to it"? Well, if you all guessed Princess Peach: Showtime!, then that is the upcoming installment in question that I've been referring to. Nintendo has slightly upped the ante marketing wise to let us know what we can prepare for regarding said game, and they even did Valentine's Day cards to go with it too, which can be seen here via the Play Nintendo website. And of course, for more details regarding the game itself in question including the story/objective and such, it can be found here. (Now if we can only find out who the composer(s) for this game musical score is/are so we can get the green light to start the planning process for upcoming music covers here; the late March 2024 date itself can't come soon enough!)

Until then, I have to end this here because I have to sadly switch gears and prepare for work obligations later on this afternoon. But as always, if you have any further questions in regards to what has been shared on this posting itself, please don't hesitate to send an email my direction so I can get back to you upon reviewing the correspondence. See you all later.

Site / Music Operations Materials Backup Efforts Scheduled for 2/12/2024 - 2/16/2024

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 9, 2024 - 03:22 PM

Good afternoon, everyone; this posting is to let all of you know that during the course of next week (and depending on my overall planbook's schedule including some incoming work obligations that I need to deal with outside of here), we're hoping to get our backups of this site and all other music operations related materials up to date, especially before our "anniversary day" hits later on this month.

This is to ensure that should yet another extinuating circumstance happen with this site and other related materials, we'll be ready with at least one "recent backup" to call on.

I still will be checking on any email correspondence that may be received from our respective online forms including the main site contact form, the plagiarism report form, and the two suggestion forms. Rest assured that I'll find time during this process to respond to any legitimate inquiries music operations related upon review. It's just that yours truly is going to be bracing for an eventful work week itself when this coming Monday arrives (which also includes the Discord account crisis that I elaborated on nearly three weeks ago).

Thanks once again for your patience and understanding on this, and I'll see you awesome people later.
