New Music Arrangements Posted Targeting "Mario Tennis Open" (And A Newly Featured SNES Instrument Set!)Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, December 14, 2020 - 03:12 PM![]() Fast forward many years after that to the date and time of this posting, and I'm happy to announce that two new Super Nintendo music style arrangements have been done which once again targets songs from this Nintendo 3DS game. Additionally, these new covers now involve the newest SNES music instrument set to be featured for these operations as a whole: David Crane's Amazing Tennis (developed and published by Absolute Entertainment/Imagineering, with Mark Van Hecke being the composer of said musical score for it). And rumor has it that more songs might be targeted from the Mario Tennis Open game for the music arrangement/cover process that may involve the newest featured SNES instrument set as well. But you'll have to wait and see what songs in question might be covered next... possibly during the course of next year (and after I have made more progress in clearing the majority of my upcoming music file backlog). And before I forget, special thanks to fellow Super Nintendo music enthusiast KungFuFurby for helping me out with leads in getting the David Crane's Amazing Tennis instrument set together so I can do the arrangement procedures with it including the covering of the two featured Mario Tennis Open songs, as listed below (with the respective file links): * Tournament - Star Cup (Theme 1) * Mario Stadium As always, if you have any problems with accessing the music files themselves that I've just linked to above, please don't hesitate to let me know via email as soon as possible so I can look into the matter. Take care until next time, all! I'm out. Additionally, we thank all of these other SoundCloud followers overall for also helping us reach said threshold which has been a long time coming. It definitely means a lot to me and I hope that I haven't let you down every time I post a "personal favorite" over there. Now let's work on reaching the next threshold! See you all later. Although I am currently in the "weekend mode" at this time, I wanted to make sure and give a quick reminder of the available forms that you folks are still able to access in any event you need to send possible inquiries my way that need investigating upon my reception of them, especially between now and the end of this year (and especially as we enter the 2021 year) as I continue my music arrangement file backlog clearing efforts. It is also currently planned to see about getting this page spruced up because it's been way overdue for an update; the hope is that it'll be the "main hub" for the links to available forms here on the site. Until then, the currently active ones are listed below: No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post December 2020 Greetings: Into The Christmas Holidays "Home Stretch"!Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 - 08:42 PM![]() It's winter time with Princess Peach and Princess Daisy, along with their Toad friends as they're building a Mario themed snowman! (Image courtesy of Nintendo) So this is what I'm trying to deal with during the course of this final month of the year: once again, I'm currently examining this same page to plan out my next steps in getting the majority of new Super Nintendo music style arrangements posted for you all to check out between now and the end of this month (and especially before 2020 is officially in the history books; my gosh, what a roller coaster ride it has been for all of us! And as you can already tell, we have the blasted COVID-19 pandemic to blame for it all). Now, details are still under lock and key in regards to what upcoming arrangements are next to be posted and shared with you all; however, I will state that as I may have "hinted" in previous entries, some of them are going to have new featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets in play. You'll find out in due time what they are as the days forge ahead; stay tuned for that. On a side note, earlier this morning as I was changing my wall calendars for this new month, one of them was featuring visuals for the highly acclaimed Mario adventure installment for the Nintendo Switch installment, Super Mario Odyssey. Can you believe that for our beloved music operations housing Super Nintendo styled covers for this score, it's been a little over two years since yours truly snagged the opportunity to get into this groove and "do the Odyssey" in this regard? And if this below picture is any clue, it can only tell me that there are even more candidates to be found. And could the stuff that I'm already working on and/or are in the "standby queue" be the ones to get posted during the course of this month too? God only knows the answer to that. We'll see what happens. ![]() That all said, and this may be just my personal opinion, but from the above visual of this month of December from said calendar (which I forgot to mention is from Super Mario: History of a Hero 2020 Calendar, manufactured/published by Abrams Books), there are two parts that really, really matter as far as I'm concerned. ![]() ![]() And with that, I think it's best to stop here before I really say too much. Bottom line: you definitely don't want to miss out on what's about to be shared between now and the end of this month to conclude a very tumultous year in our lifetimes. I can assure you that you won't be disappointed. Until then, all of you please continue to stay safe wherever you are, keep it bookmarked on this page, and I'll see you all on the next entry. Later, awesome people! I'm gone. No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post
