New Year's Greetings To Officially Begin 2023!Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, January 1, 2023 - 10:13 PM Image of Nintendo's 2023 special image featuring select members of the Mario series' game cast (courtesy of the Nintendo Twitter accounts) Well, faithful friends/followers/listeners of these beloved music operations as a whole, it is now official: our journey through this brand new 2023 year is in full action. Once again, I hope you all have had a chance to make the most of this very special day just as much as I did and let's hope for the best to come out of this as compared to the enormous amount of "turbulence" we had to endure from the previous year. That all being said, I still need to quickly announce two things before turning in on this Sunday night. First, one or two articles are still being planned for writing to look back on all the Super Nintendo music styled cover activity that was made for these operations during the course of the previous year. I just need to get myself resituated during the coming work week and I'll make sure to keep you posted on when said articles do go live here on this site, so stay tuned. Second, like the Christmas holiday period one week ago, any music operations correspondence received during this time and the end of tomorrow (1/2/2023) (this includes, but is not limited to, submissions from our main contact form, Discord server invite request form, plagiarism report submission form, and our two suggestion forms) will be reviewed and processed on Tuesday (1/3/2023). Just don't forget to consider that our email processing account with Formspree still places a cap on submissions relayed to us (as explained on this article from last year, along with this follow-up article as well). That's all for now, everyone; I now have to prepare to rest up for the upcoming work week ahead since I finally snagged the chance to write this up before this New Year's Day (on a Sunday night) comes to an end. There are also plans to have a new article written for this section of the site to give a brief review of quick noteworthy stuff prior to the 2022 year itself closing. Note that this is not to be confused with my dealing with gathering statistics regarding music arrangement content activity for this year; that's a whole different article altogether and more details regarding said matter will be elaborated on during the course of next month itself as we get situated to take on the 2023 year. No Comments | Site News/Update Entries | Print this Post News of Site / Hosting Account Access "Issues" Due To Possible "Traffic Abuse"Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 30, 2022 - 10:56 PMHeads-up, everyone - if you all were attempting to view this site a few hours ago (more specifcally, the early evening hours on or after 5:00 P.M.), you may have encountered that it was inaccessible due to the AwardSpace hosting administration's internal departments noticing that there was a very suspicious amount of traffic directed at this place (more specifically, they informed me that earlier today, the site encountered 9,831 hits in under one hour). No Comments | Server News | Print this Post Final Music Arrangement of 2022 from "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker"Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 30, 2022 - 01:29 PM Yep, this had to be done eventually according to my planbook on the backend... it's the "staff credits song" that was composed for the game when all has been said and done in completing each "episode" for the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker installment. And wouldn't you know... thank heavens that this is one of those "rare cases" where in my "tracker application" for doing this process itself that I could all eight channels instead of six channels or less to try and match the original song itself! Not only that, but I was able to use the featured instrument set originally heard in Konami's Animaniacs SNES game (as created and composed by Tomoya Tomita) in trying to keep with the "original styling" of the "Captain Toad and the Toad Brigade" exploration theme itself. Amazing, right? But enough of my brief "explanation"; click the newest file link below so you'll have a further understanding of what I'm talking about here. As mentioned earlier (and at the top of this blog entry post itself), this now concludes my Super Nintendo music style arrangement plans for these operations as a whole in 2022. However, later on (and apparently during the course of this upcoming "New Year's Weekend"), I'll see about possibly doing a "greetings post" in regards to where we go from here as we prepare to completely place 2022 in the history books and look forward to what challenges might be waiting for us when 2023 arrives.
