ATTENTION: "DISCORD PORTAL" SERVER INVITE LINK REQUEST FORM TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Although I have managed to reclaim my respective Discord account itself as of 4/9/2024, we're still doing some backend "recovery efforts" before we start accepting Discord server invite link requests again. More details here; your patience and understanding in advance is greatly appreciated.

New Music Arrangement Covers Incoming For Next Week

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, July 7, 2022 - 04:44 PM

Still in the "resituation process" in regards to our "home base website" of these music operations, everyone; however, I've got some good news to report. As this blog entry's title states, and as I breifly stated in this monthly greetings post a few days ago, it looks like the "drought" regarding new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement content will be coming to an end soon.

More specficially, it is planned during the course of next week to have two new Super Nintendo music style covers posted for you all to check out. Details are still under lock and key, but as I hinted a few days back, one cover is targeting a song from the recently released Mario Strikers: Battle League installment for the Nintendo Switch console while another one is targeting yet another "tour exclusive" course for Mario Kart Tour. You won't want to miss it when the respective announcements get posted.

Meanwhile, and on a side note, I must also announce that this update/addition process on these two upcoming files will obviously not happen during the course of this coming Monday; the majority of that day will have me literally occupied outside of here because I'm going to be attending the funeral of a church family friend that passed away and went to be with the Lord late last week. Additionally, any music operations related correspondence that gets sent my way during the course of this coming Monday will be reviewed the day after.

I thank you all in advance for your understanding during this time, and I'll see you again on the next entry, God willing, with that first music file update posting in hand. Later, everyone!

Email Correspondence Management Announcement As Of 7/4/'22

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, July 4, 2022 - 03:49 PM

Hey there, friends; I hope that you all are enjoying your July 4th holiday itself (if you're viewing us from the United States area, of course). Although I'm still in the "holiday" mode over here, I still want to make sure I get this important announcement out of the way, and it's in regards to the "email correspondence" angle of our music operations as a whole, especially in regards to this site.

As of the date and time of this posting, and due to the result of our having to move our hosting account for this site to AwardSpace, the email correspondence addresses that we have been using prior to this hosting server move have now been condensed back to one email address

That means from this point forward, only the "mailroom AT mc-mmg-homebase DOT com" email correspondence address is the "active" one at this time; all other email addresses prior to this announcement are null and void. With that said, this does not affect any of our active email correspondence forms on this site from the frontend; any inquiry sent from you all that's obviously music operations management related will show up at this address for my review upon reception.

However, the email processing limitations still apply. As I have stated in this article months ago, the email form processing account that we have with Formspree has a limit of 50 submissions per month (under the "free" status, which we have with them there). But along with that, even though I'll try my best to get back with you on any legitimate inquiry received upon review, I'm also limited in terms of how many emails I can send from this hosting account with AwardSpace each month (which is up to a total of 30 emails; unless the account gets upgraded to a "paid" status - this hosting account is under the "free" status as well just like the Formspree account we have).

Long story short, the key factors of this announcement are: (1) make sure you only have the "mailroom AT mc-mmg-homebase DOT com" email address in your email clients whitelists on your end, and (2) please don't use our active email correspondence forms (including the main contact form, the Discord server temporary invite link form, the plagiarism report form, and our two suggestion forms) unless it's absolutely necessary to get in contact with me about any music operations related matters. Of course, as I said in this previous article, I'll let you all know if I am especially reaching my "monthly submission limit" with Formspree (which still stands at 50 since we just started this new month), and especially when it looks like I might be forced to "delay" response to email submissions that I may receive from you all (of course, unless I run into a breakthrough that results in my being able to "upgrade" both the Formspree and AwardSpace accounts to "paid" statuses, I'll let you all know about this development as well).

My apologies for you all if this was a very long read, but this was still a very important announcement that needed to be written in order to let you all know what has been going on at this time. I do honestly thank you all in advance for your understanding of the situation at this time; as always, if you have any further questions on this, please don't hesitate to let me know. See you all later.

July 2022 Greetings: More "Follow-Up" Stuff Regarding Music Operations Backend Situations and Other Things

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, July 2, 2022 - 02:31 PM

Hey there, faithful friends/followers/listeners of these music operations as a whole; we have now officially started the "second half" of this 2022 year and as I'm writing this "monthly greetings entry", I'm still slowly getting through certain "backend hurdles" before I finally get back in the Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove. While the majority of details are still under lock and key until I can hopefully announce them later on in the week (God willing!), there are some things that I need to make sure you all are aware of, which include the following:

(1) Email Address Situations Regarding Our Related Twitter / SoundCloud Accounts
The first hurdle that I'm dealing with is in regards to our getting all our external portal accounts resituated ever since we got the "domain name" situation for this site resolved a few days ago. More specifically, we got the SoundCloud profile account resolved successfully regarding the associated email for it. The only angle that remains is getting the Twitter profile account dealt with in terms of the same matters I've went through with the SoundCloud account, but it's taking longer than I though, even though I filed a support ticket about one to two weeks ago letting them know about my case.

Thankfully, I'm still able to long on to both accounts from the front end, but once again, I'm still patiently waiting for the Twitter account situation end to get resolved before continuing with normal activity afterwards. Will keep you posted on any new developments on this angle as they occur.

(2) Email Correspondence During This "July 4th Weekend"
As you all already know, we are in a "special weekend mode" here in the States - more specifically, the "July 4th Weekend". This means that I'm still able to receive any correspondence from you all including the main contact email form, the Discord server temporary invite link form, the plagiarism report form, as well as our two active suggestion forms. However, along with reviewing new "follower requests" related to our Twitter profile account, I won't be able to get to any correspondence received until after this Tuesday (7/5/2022). So I really do appreciate your patience in advance during this time if you have sent any inquiries to me recently.

(3) Possible New Super Nintendo Music Arrangement Covers Incoming For July?
Last, but not least, it's been a long while since new Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers from yours truly have been added and shared with you all. Hopefully if all goes to plan and I especially get the first above mentioned situation resolved before this month is out, I can finally see about taking care of at least two song covers. More specifically, as you can see on this "progress page", a new game page for this site which will house Super Nintendo music style covers targeting songs from Mario Strikers: Battle League will be added soon and I'm currently working on a new song cover targeting yet another "tour exclusive course" from Mario Kart Tour. You won't want to miss it once these files get finalized and posted for you all to check out; I just hope that both sides, we don't have to wait very long.

Until then, and once again, when the "work week period" gets back in action again, I'll elaborate more on other music operations site related announcements that definitely deserve a post on its own which include (but is not limited to) the "operations changes" on the backend which is in relation to the current hosting account that we have with AwardSpace. Stay tuned, have a great rest of your "4th of July weekend", and I'll see you awesome people next time. I'm out.

Dedicated "Site Domain URL" Now Back In Action For This Website

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, June 24, 2022 - 10:57 AM

This just in, everyone - as of today, I am pleased to announce that thanks to the assistance of both hosting support services of Vimly Digital and AwardSpace, we now have the domain name of http://www.mc-mmg-homebase.com back in action for a few more years tied to this website (up to at least tduring the course of the 2024 year).

I'll elaborate more about this news in a future post another time because I have to prepare switching gears to deal with work obligations later today outside of these music operations (plus, I have to do some more resituating on the backend to make sure all operations under this domain itself tied to the AwardSpace hosting service are working properly including receiving email correspondence from you all).

Will keep you all posted as things develop; until then, stay tuned. We appreciate your patience in advance.
