Still Alive; Battling Recent "Outside Situations" / Preparing for the 11th Anniversary in February

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, January 28, 2021 - 10:04 AM

All right, friends; so besides this recent article posting that I did from ten to eleven days ago, things have been a bit... "dormant" on the frontend (possible because we all are still trying our best to get ourselves situated with this new 2021 year itself; but we're just noticing that in just a few days, this first month will be in the history books sooner than we think!). But I can assure you that I'm trying to get things together on the backend so we can get back into the Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove, especially as we prepare for this beloved music operation's 11th anniversary (which will be a reality in less than a month from now).

Until then, here's where things stand now and what I'm trying to get out of the way before months end: first, I still haven't forgotten to check any possible media that has surfaced so far in regards to the upcoming Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury installment for Nintendo Switch (still schedule for release on 2/12/'21). It's still on my "to do" list between now and month's end, and I should be making an announcement on how I'm going to approach the musical score for this thing should any new "song candidates" be found to do the Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover process on. I'm still optimistic about this.

Not only this, but if things go all okay between now and when we get to the "11th anniversary point" next month, we should have our first music arrangement file additions posted for you all to check out. Details are still under lock and key at this time, but I'm more than ready to see about getting this on when the time comes.

In the meantime, you're still able to use the "Song Candidate Submissions" suggestion form and the "Featured Mario Game Iinstallments" / "Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets" concensus form because I'm still wanting to know from all of you in terms of how I should see about approaching my planbook setup the rest of the 2021 year itself, especially after we've arrived at our 11th anniversary next month. It would be greatly appreciated because it looks like we're still reaching a "critical point" in the maintaining of these music operations as a whole going forward, but that's another story altogether.

Thanks once again in advance for your continuing to stick with me as we get ready to deal with another year of Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers focused on Nintendo's beloved Super Mario videogame series (main games, spinoff installments, and the "branched games" as well). Take care, continue to stay positive and safe, and I'll see you again on the next entry posting here on the site. I'm out for now.

New "Music File Statistics" Article Added: "The Many Upsets of November/December 2020"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, January 18, 2021 - 08:34 PM

Been working on this new article like heck for the site since earlier today, everyone; it goes into further detail on the many upsets that our related "Music Arrangements File Statistics" document has been through since late last year as I was playing literal catch up on getting most Super Nintendo music style arrangements posted for you all to check out during the November/December period of last year.

You can get to the newest article posting itself by going here; be forewarned that it will be a long read, so your patience is greatly appreciated in advance. The reason for the new article being long is definitely legit (which once again, you can all blame this horrible COVID-19 pandemic for messing up my planbook for the majority of last year).

As always, if you have any further questions after reading the article itself, please don't hesitate to send an email inquiry my way. See you all later.

BREAKING NEWS: New "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury" Trailer To Be Posted Tomorrow (1/12/'21)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, January 11, 2021 - 10:56 PM

Just got this word from my sources, everyone (along with some other "close contacts" from our interactive community portals): the folks at Nintendo have announced that a new trailer for the upcoming Nintendo Switch installment "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury" will be shown during the course of tomorrow morning (1/12/'21). As you all may already be aware, this game itself is a port of the Nintendo Wii U installment of the same name, but with the "Bowser's Fury" extension added to it for the Nintendo Switch version.

I'll be checking this trailer itself as well during the course of tomorrow not just from getting more information about this port from the gameplay standpoint in general, but from the "music arrangement target" standpoint as well considering that we already have a page for these operations housing all of the Super Nintendo music styled covers that I've done involving this game's score (which can be checked out here if you haven't had a chance to do so yet). This game itself has been widely known for its musical score itself (which is also why I've done a total of 39 SNES music styled covers from it so far); the upcoming trailer from Nintendo scheduled for posting tomorrow should give me answers in terms of what I should prepare for planbook wise in the months ahead (after the game's scheduled release date which is still planned for 2/12/'21).

I'll get back with you all in another article if there's any "breaking news" stuff on the music arrangement planning front after the said trailer has been posted. Stay tuned, all!

More "Twitter Polls" Regarding Recently Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 - 08:59 AM

Heads-up to those of you faithful followers who are watching your timelines for posts from yours truly: as you know from the latter part of last year, we've added a bunch of newly featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets for these operations that I've been using in my arrangement works covering modern Super Mario scores (included main installments, spinoff installments, and branched installments). Once again, the instrument sets include which are in relation to the following games:

* David Crane's Amazing Tennis (Absolute Entertainment/Imagineering)
* Biker Mice From Mars (Konami)
* Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition (Bandai)
* Captain America and the Avengers (Data East/Mindscape/Realtime Associates)
* Super Soccer Champ (Taito)
* Goal! (Jaleco)

So on our Twitter profile, we are doing our next set of polls for me to have an idea on what is your "status" in regards to the above mentioned SNES games; one post per day. And as always, you have one week from the time of the poll's posting to cast your votes.

Today's poll to start this set off focuses on the SNES game David Crane's Amazing Tennis (as published/developed by Absolute Entertainment/Imagineering). You should be able to see that poll in question if you're logged in and are a confirmed follower by the time this announcement post on the site is up.

As always, if you are not a "confirmed follower" for our Twitter profile, just head for our Twitter profile page and submit a follower request; as always, I'll be reviewing new inquiries for approval during the Monday - Friday timeframe (excluding major holidays). We definitely need new followers who meet our criteria especially as we start this brand new year. Take care for now, everyone; and thanks in advance for your support and votes. I'm out.
