ATTENTION: "DISCORD PORTAL" SERVER INVITE LINK REQUEST FORM TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Although I have managed to reclaim my respective Discord account itself as of 4/9/2024, we're still doing some backend "recovery efforts" before we start accepting Discord server invite link requests again. More details here; your patience and understanding in advance is greatly appreciated.

"Valentine's Day" Greetings for 2024 / Where Things Stand So Far on the Backend

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 - 01:39 PM

Good afternoon, friends; just snagging the opportunity to write this blog entry posting and give a shoutout to all of you on this awesome "Valentine's Day". That being said already, I'm still hard at work on the backend dealing with operations material backups as we speak; progress has been made in terms of getting the entire site backed up during the course of yesterday. I just have to find the time hopefully later on tonight or during the course of tomorrow to get my "tracker source files" backup disc up to date before I proceed with finally preparing to start our new music arrangement content postings for 2024 (after we have marked our "anniversary" itself in just a few days from now).

So far, the plan is according to our "Music Arrangement Progress Page" to get the latest stuff that I worked on targeting songs from "WarioWare: Smooth Moves" and "Mario Kart Tour" posted and cleared off the backlog there. Details are still under lock and key so far in regards to what has been targeted, but here are a few hints:

* For WarioWare: Smooth Moves, the "batch" is targeting an overall "theme" for yet another microgame host who is female.
* For Mario Kart Tour, the music cover that I was working on is targeting an alternate "varient" of a highly addictive course theme song (and no, I didn't have to call on the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge instrument set to do this one!).

As always, when the stuff does get posted onto their respective pages on this site, I'll let you all know.

Finally, although I might elaborate on this further in future posts, you all remember when I stated on this "Year in Review (2023)" article that "[a certain game] in question definitely has my attention big time" which "has a late March 2024 release date attached to it"? Well, if you all guessed Princess Peach: Showtime!, then that is the upcoming installment in question that I've been referring to. Nintendo has slightly upped the ante marketing wise to let us know what we can prepare for regarding said game, and they even did Valentine's Day cards to go with it too, which can be seen here via the Play Nintendo website. And of course, for more details regarding the game itself in question including the story/objective and such, it can be found here. (Now if we can only find out who the composer(s) for this game musical score is/are so we can get the green light to start the planning process for upcoming music covers here; the late March 2024 date itself can't come soon enough!)

Until then, I have to end this here because I have to sadly switch gears and prepare for work obligations later on this afternoon. But as always, if you have any further questions in regards to what has been shared on this posting itself, please don't hesitate to send an email my direction so I can get back to you upon reviewing the correspondence. See you all later.

Site / Music Operations Materials Backup Efforts Scheduled for 2/12/2024 - 2/16/2024

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 9, 2024 - 03:22 PM

Good afternoon, everyone; this posting is to let all of you know that during the course of next week (and depending on my overall planbook's schedule including some incoming work obligations that I need to deal with outside of here), we're hoping to get our backups of this site and all other music operations related materials up to date, especially before our "anniversary day" hits later on this month.

This is to ensure that should yet another extinuating circumstance happen with this site and other related materials, we'll be ready with at least one "recent backup" to call on.

I still will be checking on any email correspondence that may be received from our respective online forms including the main site contact form, the plagiarism report form, and the two suggestion forms. Rest assured that I'll find time during this process to respond to any legitimate inquiries music operations related upon review. It's just that yours truly is going to be bracing for an eventful work week itself when this coming Monday arrives (which also includes the Discord account crisis that I elaborated on nearly three weeks ago).

Thanks once again for your patience and understanding on this, and I'll see you awesome people later.

Quick Follow-Up On Upcoming Music Operations Stuff (As Of 2/9/2024)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 9, 2024 - 09:43 AM

Good morning, friends; just snagging the time to give you all a quick follow-up on what has been happening with yours truly on the backend music operations wise. Yes, I'm still fighting to make progress for the "anniversary month" of February, but as you all are already aware, the major thing that has been literally holding me back from attacking the planbook full force is my account issues with Discord (and I am still waiting to hear back from the "Trust and Safety" department about my active ticket; it's been nearly three weeks since getting word about my respective Discord account being hacked by an apparently cyber criminal and I can't log into it at all).

But as I said in a previous blog entry post here, I still must press forward even though the "process" from the backend might be a bit slower than usual. I'm hoping to see about updating the "Music Arrangements Progress Page" later on today; however, I'm still hard at work getting new possible song candidates for my planbook to do Super Nintendo music styled tracker work on. It's one of the major angles that's still keeping me sane for the most part and as I said before, I don't take this God-given musical talent for granted. (Along with my still being a huge fan of Nintendo's Super Mario video game series still to this day.)

Case in point: no guarantees at this time, but it looks like we might have something to share with you during the course of next week. Rumor has it that there might be a certain something targeting another batch of songs from WarioWare: Smooth Moves and I might recheck on more stuff from WarioWare: Get It Together! Stay tuned as the days forge ahead.

The one hope is still this: to get new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement content posted prior to our anniversary itself later on this month. You still don't want to miss out on when the new postings do go live; in the meantime, I honestly thank you all in advance for your understanding and patience during this difficult time for me in trying to get certain angles sorted out outside of these endeavors as a whole. But as stated earlier, we are pressing forward, but slowly. See you all again later; until then, I'm out.

February 2024 Greetings: "Anniversary Month" Arrives / Still Dealing With "Turbulence"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, February 1, 2024 - 09:57 AM

Good morning, faithful friends/followers/listeners of these beloved music operations as a whole; I just snagged the chance after getting up to have this formal "monthly greetings entry" entry written up and posted before having to head out to deal with other "real life matters" outside of here.

But yeah, so now the January month itself for 2024 is now in the history books, and despite a lot of turbulence from "super evil adversarial forces" (including having being forced to upgrade this site's hosting account from a "free status" to a "paid status", still patiently waiting for the Discord Trust and Safety staff to follow-up with me regarding recovery efforts for my account itself that was hacked a little over one week ago (which led to this announcement being posted the other day), and other real life issues outside these operations that have been determined like heck to crush me and give me horrid mental blocks that you all know I hate so much), the show must go on - yes, I still must battle through these horrible roadblocks that have been thrown my direction in the hopes I'll just collapse and give up. But with God as my witness, they've got another thing coming.

Case in point: if you didn't notice my announcement yesterday, one of those plans that I was hoping to have gotten taken care of during the course of last month did get crossed off my planbook - the "Year In Review (2023)" article. I had other articles I had planned to write during the previous month, but the circumstances I listed above (especially in regards to my Discord account matters) took higher priority. But the main thing is that the most important of them all is out of the way and we can start focusing on which songs will get my passionate Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover treatment for 2024. And not a moment to soon because we've now reached our "anniversary month" for these beloved music operations as a whole (with the actual birthday happening later this month). And there's no way that yours truly is ending these operations any time soon; in fact, it's one of the angles that's still keeping me sane for the most part each day! Here's hoping that during the course of this new month, we can get our first batch of SNES music styled arrangement covers for 2024 posted for you awesome people to check out.

In the meantime, once again, I'm still waiting to hear from many of you all via our still active online suggestion forms! If you haven't checked that section of the site out yet and have your voice heard there, then please go to this page. You all still play a role in giving me ideas in what kind of modern Mario series related songs you hope will hit my planbook in due time as well as letting me know what featured Mario series games and Super Nintendo music instrument sets you're familiar with for these entire operations. It definitely means a lot to me on this angle of things; thanks in advance for your taking the time to do this for me here.

I have to switch gears and step out for the time being; but as always, make sure to keep this front page bookmarked for any new developments as they happen, including more info on when our first batch of Super Nintendo music styled stuff might actually drop during the course of this new month of February. Until then, take care for now, awesome people; I'm out.
