June 2022 Greetings: The "Summer Months Period" Begins, But With Some "Roadblocks" To Deal With
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 - 10:19 AM
All right, friends - we have just now officially reached the "summer months" period of this year for our beloved music operations as a whole. However, as this blog entry's title states and as I announced in this post yesterday, we have been hit with some roadblocks that I'm currently trying to see about resolving at this time.
But it bears repeating that until I get this "high priority situation" of getting this site moved to a new hosting service candidate, my general "backend activity" regarding our music operations will be very limited; I'm hoping it won't take longer than one to two weeks at best to get this situation sorted out.
In the meantime, it's highly recommended that if you haven't done so already, please make sure that you're following us at the Twitter Portal, applying for an invite to our Discord server, or joining our IRC chat channel on EsperNet. I'll keep everyone posted via those angles in regards to any new developments as they occur regarding the situation including when the server hosting move has been successfully made. As I said earlier, I hope that it doesn't take that long. Stay tuned, and I'll see you awesome people later. I'm gone for now.

Heads-Up: Possible Server Hosting Move Incoming Within The Next 1 - 2 Weeks
Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 - 04:18 PM
This just in from the Vimly Digital hosting administration, everyone: I have received unfortunate news that because of interal situations beyond their control, they are planning on closing their services within the next few weeks (which also means that the server that this site is hosted on will become inactive as well).
At this time, I'm currently ensuring that all materials regarding this entire "home base website" itself are fully backed up and on standby for transfer to our next hosting candidate once they are found. Right now, this is a "high priority" situation so all general music operations activity on the backed is currently suspended at this time until this case is fully resolved - hopefully during the span of 1 - 2 weeks.
As always, I'll keep all of you updated via our existing interactive community portals including IRC, Discord, and Twitter should any new developments regarding the situation. Apologies in advance for any inconveniences; take care for now, and stay tuned.

Quick Reminder About Plagiarism Content Reporting
Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 - 05:18 PM
Good evening, friends; this blog entry posting is just a quick and friendly reminder that although as of late I haven't gotten any news of "plagiarism alerts" regarding our music arrangement content for these operations as a whole, that doesn't mean that we can not keep alert should such a case rise that would require yours truly to get into action because one confirmed "plagiarism case" involving our stuff is already one case too many.
The reason I post this is because although unrelated to our beloved music operations here, I've run into news of an online friend of mine outside of here who's creativity rights have literally been violated. I'll spare the details on the matter, but he and a fellow friend reported news about their content being literally stolen by someone via their posting it on another site and saying that it's their own content. There were some other "red flags" that were said about the person who plagiarized their content in question, but once again, I won't go into that angle of the details.
But this one thing is clear, especially for these music operations as a whole: plagiarism of our content will not be tolerated in any shape or form, ever. If we do receive any reports of our content being stolen (via this form), be assured that each one will be carefully reviewed to determine if any action is needed to address the issue(s) presented to us. Plagiarism itself is nothing more than blatant theft of another person's hard work and a slap in the face to the original author(s) of the work itself. We can't allow for this to happen around these parts either.
As you all already know, per policy, I always try my best to give proper acknowledgement in regards to the covered music content here via our "Acknowledgements" section of the site (including the involving modern Super Mario songs - main, spinoff, and branched - as well as the featured Super Nintendo instrument sets that were involved in these covers). And we expect everyone else to respect these heartfelt efforts as well.
Once again, if you run into any cases where our content here has been plagiarized, please do not hesitate to alert me about them by going to this form so we can investiage these matters promptly. Thanks in advance for your reading and your help. See you all later.

Assistance Needed For "Promotion Efforts" During The Upcoming "Summer Months"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, May 23, 2022 - 07:46 PM
So it has still been "quiet" on the frontend regarding these music operations as a whole; however, let me tell you, I've been still trying to slowly get back in the groove and get ready for the upcoming "summer months period" that will be arriving at our doorsteps in a little over one week from now.
With that said, and as I elaborated in our anniversary statement almost one month back, these whole endeavors are still nothing without your support to back this up to help me plan for the months ahead. And that "support" is needed more than ever because as I'm writing this, I'm still investigating what legitimate leads could be used to properly promote these music operations as a whole even further. Right now, we currently have our "interactive portal communities" (including IRC, Twitter, and SoundCloud) and I'm still trying to sort things out to get a much clearer head on how to make further progress on our site's still "inactive" Forum Portal area. But as I have elaborated many times before, apparently the "audience" is changing and it seems that the "majority" of the entire Internet is wanting everyone to prepare to "adapt" to said changes and meeting today's "demands".
That's where you all come in because I seriously need possible additional "leads" to see about what angles to try to help promote these beloved music operations as a whole even further. I'm still making plans to investigate one lead I ran into so far, but the more "candidates" I can look into from your responses, the better. Just use this main contact email form to let me know of any legitimate promotion leads that you may have found so I can check into researching them further.
This one thing is clear on all angles, though: it's time to step up our game to get more activity rolling, especially as we get ready to proceed into the "summer months" for these music operations as a whole. Thanks in advance to all of you who are willing to assist in helping me out find those leads, and I'll see you next time around. I'm gone for now.
