Three Mario Series Game Installments Nominated for "The Game Awards" 2021

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 - 07:39 AM

Going slightly off this music operation's focus for a moment because I just received news that needs to be shared for a moment here. A short while ago, the organizers with the annual Game Awards event have unveiled their list of award nominees; three Mario game installments that have seen release this year (two under the "main" category and one under the "branched" category) have made the list. And what's amazing, I'm currently preparing to see about sharing new Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers involving songs from those games!

The three games in question have been filed under the "Best Family Game" nomination category, which include the following:

* Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (the Nintendo Switch version of the WiiU game)
* WarioWare: Get It Together!
* Mario Party Superstars

We'd like to extend our congrats to these three installments for getting their respective nomination under the "Best Family Game" category. That all said, there can only be one winner when December 9th arrives (that's the day of the ceremony event itself); here's hoping that one of these three will be in the "winner's circle". But it must be said that the three are in competition with two other nominations that are not Mario series related, shown in the below image.

Until then, and before December 7th arrives, you're able to see about casting your vote for one of these mentioned games in question by going to the "Best Family Game" category page. But be aware that you're going to need to sign up for an account prior to voting itself. After that, we'll find out if one of these three Mario game installments will take home that hardware. Take care, all; I'll see you folks again soon.

A Few Interactivity Portal Reminders Before the Upcoming Music Arrangement File Addition Updates

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 - 08:05 PM

Snagging the chance this Tuesday evening to remind all of you faithful listeners/followers of these entire music operations about making sure that you're a part of our "interactive portal communities" in relation to here if you haven't had a chance to join in already, especially as I'm currently making final preparations to get some new Super Nintendo music style arrangements posted either during the course of tomorrow or this Thursday.

At this time, we're still accepting (and definitely in need of) new folks to join in our interactive portal communities including Twitter, our server on the Discord, our profile at SoundCloud, and our specified IRC channel (via EsperNet). Remember that in the case of the first two, I have to manually approve new join/server invite requests before you're granted full access to posts made in those two areas (done mainly during the course of Monday - Friday, excluding any major holidays that fall during that week).

Also, I'm still very much aware about the "Forum Portal" situation because I'm still trying to snag the opportunity to finally get in gear and have that part of the site operational again at last. It's just that real life stuff outside of these operations has been giving me heck and the "COVID health crisis" situation isn't helping. But that's another post in itself when the time comes for me to write a follow up regarding this matter. Stay tuned.

Until then, let me take the time once again to thank all of you for your heartfelt patience as yours truly has still been fighting to get back in the full groove doing these Super Nintendo music styled covers themselves. As I said before, we haven't had any new music cover update additions ever since early June and even I was wondering when we will ever get them shared before this year is out. Here's hoping that we won't have to wait any longer after this posting itself. See you all later.

HEADS-UP: New Music Covers In Preparation For Posting During The Next Two Weeks!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, November 12, 2021 - 08:16 PM

All right, awesome people - it won't be much longer; I'm pleased to announce that if things go as planned during the course of the next two weeks (and especially before the "Thanksgiving holidays" period later this month), we'll be starting the process of posting the majority of new Super Nintendo music style covers that I've been dealing with since a few months back (more specifically, ever since I posted these covers targeting certain songs from Paper Mario: The Origami King way back in early June).

Details are still under lock and key in terms of which songs in question from this page will get posted first come the course of next week; however, I do know that our aim as I elaborated on previous blog entry posts is to literally get that queue number down big time before year's end. Once again, please be aware that I didn't say that I'm planning to get this queue completely cleared out (besides, yours truly still has a life outside of these music operations, you know!); that said, yours truly has also been waiting for this moment to finally get some new music cover content stuff posted here again as the days progress. Long story short, friends - hang in there for just a few more days; this "drought" will finally get eliminated very soon.

Once again, I thank you all in advance for your patience during this time; as always, make sure that you still have this site bookmarked on your browser's favorites list and don't forget to submit your follower requests/join requests for our Twitter Portal and our Discord Portal so you won't miss when new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers get posted within the coming days. Take care until then, everyone; I'm gone for now.

Quick "Suggestion Forms" Maintenance News as of 11/5/'21

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, November 5, 2021 - 09:41 PM

This additional post was triggered as a result in checking out certain related  pages prior to writing this blog entry elaborating about the 10th anniversary of Super Mario 3D Land developed for the Nintendo 3DS console; however, it needs to be announced on its own entry here.

Here's the situation, while checking out our respective available form pages after writing the blog entry talking about Super Mario 3D Land's 10th anniversary, I noticed that there was not an option for that game on the "Song Candidates Suggestions" form as well as the "Plagiarism Report Form". Upon noticing this oversight, I made sure to get this situation remedied and the "Super Mario 3D Land" option itself should be shown as one of those choices now, especially since we do have a related game page for these operations which house the Super Nintendo music style covers that I've done targeting songs from that installment.

This is also a good time to remind you all that if any of you notice anything amiss like this kind of case in the future, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible about the situation either by sending an email my way or contacting me via the existing social media portals that we have in relation to these music operations when I'm online from those angles. This will allow me to investigate the said matters in a timely fashion to confirm the legitimacy of what's being brought to my attention as well as taking action to rectify the matter. It definitely means a lot in the long run so the sooner we can detect any errors on this site, the better it will be for all of us.

Thanks in advance for your time and reading; take care until next time, all. I'm out.
