"Mario Golf: Super Rush" - Twitter Poll Thread Regarding Possible Music Cover Plans Regarding Opening Cinematic

Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, July 25, 2021 - 10:44 PM

This was shared on our music operation's Twitter Portal a few days ago, but I've only snagged the chance during the final hours of the current weekend (Sunday night to be exact) to make a formal blog entry announcement post here for all visitors/faithful listeners.

In case you weren't aware, a few days ago, the Nintendo of America folks have recently shared the opening cinematic that waits to be seen when Mario Golf: Super Rush has been loaded up in your respective Nintendo Switch console. That video in question is able to be seen here, and it's definitely a good one overall which demonstrated one of the modes waiting to be checked out in the game itself. As you can tell, there are corresponding images accompanying this post (which one can be seen above this paragrah and the rest seen below) because I'm sure I'm not the only one who knows who really demonstrated this aspect the best for all of us.

But to the main focus on this post itself: for those of you who are confirmed followers of our Twitter profile account, a poll thread was posted to ask if you all think I should see about attempting doing a Super Nintendo music styled cover of the opening cinematic theme music that was also heard in the same video. The thread itself in question can be seen here; there are a total of two questions - the first one to get concensus from you all if I should consider doing said process, and the second to find out which Super Nintendo music instrument set (from this list, of course), would be the best one to choose if I really do make the attempt.

Be forewarned, though: as of the date and time of this posting, there are only three days left for both polls on this thread; they are currently set to close before the end of this Thursday (7/29/'21), so if you haven't place in your votes in these said polls in question, please do so. And to those who have, thank you.

As always, and as a quick reminder, if you are not following us at our music operation's Twitter profile account, please don't hesitate to visit our account's profile page and submit a request for access; I'll review any new ones that I may receive during the course of Monday - Friday (excluding major holidays) so that you won't miss any new happenings that may come from yours truly regarding music operations activity as a whole. Many thanks again for your support in advance, and I'll see you all again next time around. I'm out.

Follow Up On "WiFi Hotspot Connector" Matters / Real Life Situations (Including Family and Phone Repair Related Stuff)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 - 05:09 PM

Hey there, friends; quick follow-up on this previous posting that I made which although it affects my activity outside of these music operations, it also contributes to what's happening in my management of this place as a whole on the backend.

So first, I did manage to get an external WiFi hotspot connector to use on one of my house desktop computer's USB ports which is very good news; that said, I'm still out of the house as I'm writing this and using my town's public computers before I have to catch the bus to get back home. When I see about getting back home, I'll attempt to see about catching up on any previous correspondence that I might have missed from you all on music operations related matters, if any. I still wholeheartedly appreciate your patience in this regard.

Second, and although this may be unrelated to the above, but the other angle that has been basically stressed out like heck is actually split into two angles... first being "family matters" in which I will not disclose any details on at this time for privacy reasons and second, it's in regards to the phone that I use which has been in the shop since last Saturday afternoon... I've been irate against the folks who were supposed to see about servicing my said phone in a timely manner because their so-called "supplier" sent them the wrong parts in terms of fixing my phone... twice. They say they should have this angle corrected by tomorrow (which I seriously hope it does because not only do I want to see about getting back to my music arrangement groove here... I have a work order outside of this place to fill this coming Friday and Saturday and my getting that phone back is critical to that work).

I do apologize if this feels like a rant, but this is what has been going on with yours truly as of late. But rest assured that as I stated earlier, when I get back home, I'll see about checking on any correspondence that I may have received from you all regarding music operations related stuff and get back with you when need be. This also includes any new Discord server invite requests and/or follower requests at our Twitter profile. Your heartfelt understanding is greatly appreciated at this time; take care until next time around. I'm out.

WiFi Hotspot Receiver Issues With My House's Desktop Computer; Online Activity Limited / Sorting Out Other "Real Life" Matters

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, July 15, 2021 - 10:57 AM

Hi there, everyone; just snagging this quick opportunity to let you know that I'm still alive - but recently, my house desktop computer's internal WiFi connection receiver has been experiencing some issues for the past two days and it has been limiting my availability to get online to check on any correspondence at all including any that I may receive for these music operations. At this time, I'm currently getting ready to see about heading out and hopefully purchase an external USB WiFi hotspot connection to hook up in the hopes that it will be a temporary fix so I can get back online in full, especially during the course of this coming weekend.

Also, I don't know if I mentioned this in a previous post before this one but currently, I've been having to sort out some recent "real life matters" keeping me from making progress on anything videogame hobbyist related including these music operations; it doesn't mean that I'm not doing anything, I just have to stay on top of very important "family related matters" until the odds are in my favor there.

That's it for now; I appreciate your understanding in advance as I get through this challenging time. Any breakthroughs that occur, I'll let you all know. I'm gone for now.

"Super Mario 3D All-Stars": New Super Nintendo Styled Music Arrangement Covers In The Works Now

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 - 09:14 AM

A few days after making this post during the previous July 4th weekend regarding my plans for doing possible involving certain games under the Nintendo Switch compilation, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, I can now confirm this... and to emulate one person from a morning news show that I check out on the weekdays... "we are doing it!"

That's right, since during the course of the past weekend, I was starting to target at least one song fron under the Super Mario 3D All-Stars compilation. Details are still under lock and key in regards to what those songs in question are, but I will state that as I also noted in the same previous entry, only songs from the Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine games will be targeted here.

Also, I can confirm (and please note) that any songs that are covered from Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine will be placed in an upcoming "Super Mario 3D All-Stars" game page under this section of the site.

Finally, there are still no guarantees on when the "starting set" of these upcoming covers will be posted for these operations; however, you can be sure that I'll let you know when I am making preparations on getting this stuff together as well as when they do go live for all of you to check out.

Once again, I do appreciate your patience in advance as I'm trying to make more progress on this angle; right now, I have to end this here because I have to head out to deal with some very important business matters at this time. But as always, if you have any further questions about this news itself, please don't hesitate to send an email my way. Until then, I'll see you all later.
