Another Quick Reminder Involving Song Candidate Suggestions from "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, February 13, 2021 - 09:31 AM

All right, everyone; as we already know, the Nintendo Switch port of Super Mario 3D World got released onto store shelves yesterday (and onto the Nintendo eShop as well), but under the name of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury because of the "added extras" that weren't present in the original Wii U game which include, but are not limited to the "Bowser's Fury" angle, which is one of the major extras here. As such, and as promised in a previous blog entry posted, I've made sure to modify our respective "suggestion forms" accordingly (specifially the "Song Candidate Suggestions" form and the "Featured Mario Installments / SNES Music Instrument Sets" form) to reflect this.

This means that I am now able to especially receive any "song candidate suggestions" from you in regards to what songs in question from this installment you're hoping that I'll plan to target in the months to come. But remember that any new candidates from the main Super Mario 3D World game, if considered, for the Super Nintendo music style arrangement process will go on this page; candidates that are considered for the "Bowser's Fury" side of the said Nintendo Switch game itself will be housed on a sub-page that will be branched from the main Super Mario 3D World page that we have here on this site.

That all said, and as I stated in an earlier article posting here on the site, I'm already detecting some candidates; however, they're all from the "Bowser's Fury" side. But I'm not planning on seeing about doing the music arrangement process and/or setting up the planbook to decide which songs to cover until after we proceed further into this year, so your patience will be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to take care of a backlog of other song targets first, but rest assured that Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury IS on my radar from the music arrangement end.

Thanks once again for your understanding, everyone, and I'll see you all again next blog entry. Continue to stay warm and safe, and all of you have a fantastic weekend. I'm gone for now.

A Call for New Prospective Community Members/Followers To Join Us For February! (All Social Media Portals)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, February 8, 2021 - 04:24 PM

As of the date and time of this posting, everyone, I'm still getting things situated and making plans on how we're going approach this beloved music operation's 11th anniversary in a little over one week from today. However, there's one thing that still needs to definitely be announced and is something that yours truly is definitely not giving on and letting up on: the need for new "social media portal" community members/followers is still way up there.

It's a challenge because of folks having to meet the criteria on this page, but I still have the faith that those folks are out there, especially in terms of if they are definite and legitimate Super Mario videogame series fans and if they are dedicated Super Nintendo music style enthusiasts. There are some who say that I should throw in the towel in regards to every social media portal" and/or other available community building angle, but I'm still determined to prove them wrong big time. And that's where you prospective candidates come in.

As you also know, our existing "social media portals" for these music operations include Twitter, Discord (via applying for an invite to our server by going here), our IRC channel (hosted on EsperNet), and SoundCloud. The latter two links you're able to join in through the respective processes there; those who attempt to submit follower/join requests via the Twitter or Discord links are subject to be reviewed and screened in an effort to prevent abuse and former troublemakers from regaining access to those area.

Finally, I'm still determined to get that "Forum Portal" area back in action during the course of this year; more details will be announced about that in another post in the coming weeks.

Until then, for all our other "social media interactive portals", once again, I'm making an honest and not conceited heartfelt plea to all you awesome people that if you still appreciate our efforts to do these Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers of the modern Super Mario (and branched) tunes, hit the respective links shared above in this blog entry and join our "follower communities", please. I can assure you that you don't want to miss out on what new Super Nintendo music style arrangement postings will be coming down the pipeline, especially as we begin this beloved music operation's 11th anniversary in due time.

Thanks in advance once again for your reading this and for your support. And to all of you who are existing members/followers of all social media portals of these music operations as a whole, thanks for continuing to stick with us all the way. I obviosuly will make sure that I won't let you down on the music arrangement content front as we get through this 2021 year (and the upcoming 11th anniversary together). I'm gone for now; see you all later.

Quick Heads Up Regarding Our Suggestion Forms and "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 5, 2021 - 09:24 PM

As you all are already aware, next Friday is going to see the release of the Nintendo Switch installment Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. If you haven't been able to read the announcement I posted the other day regarding how I'm going to handle possible upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangement targeting said installment after the release day hits, you're able to catch up on it here.

You may also know that on our existing "suggestion forms" for this site (specifically the "Song Candidate Suggestions" form and the "Featured Mario Game Installments / Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets" form), we already have the "Super Mario 3D World" game installment involved for both of those forms. For the time being, especially for your response submissions for the first form on this site, please refrain from sending me "song candidate suggestion targets" regarding the "Bowser's Fury" side of the game until after the release date next Friday, 2/12/'21. It's on that day that I'll make sure that adjustments are made accordingly on respective forms showing the Nintendo Switch title of the Super Mario 3D World game as well since once again, the main game itself is primarily a port of the Wii U title with added extras.

Thanks in advance for your understanding, everyone, and let's look forward to next Friday. I'm out for now.

February 2021 Greetings: Still Getting Situated For This "Anniversary Month"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, February 1, 2021 - 07:42 PM

Keeping this short and sweet for our formal "monthly greetings entry" because I just got back home moments ago from dealing with a doctor's appointment (which of course is obviously outside of these music operations, and those kind of things take higher priority over everything else) and was taking a much needed nap after that. But with that all said, welcome to the second month of the 2021 year, everyone.

As this blog entry's title states, I'm still slowly getting everything situated as we now begin this "anniversary month" in earnest. At this time, I'm currently checking all angles on the backend (including my music arrangement target planbook) to see what options I've got in my arsenal that I might be able to share with you as we get through the next few weeks. What I'm really hoping for is not just to get our first new Super Nintendo music style arrangement postings to definitely start off the 2021 year itself; but rumor has it that "the gang" behind the scenes has been in contact with me wondering if I'll ever get to doing a formal "music operations anniversary statement" when the time comes (because as you know, I had to unfortunately cancel doing the one for last year due to COVID-19 hitting the United States in its early stages disrupting nearly everything).

Still can't guarantee anything because things are subject to change not just in terms of real life circumstances involving me outside of these music operations as a whole, but in regarding to my still being in "triple caution mode" personally because of COVID-19 still being a major threat to everything we do. But you can be assured that if any new major developments occur during the course of this month regarding music operations related matters here, I'll be sure to let you faithful friends/followers/listeners know via all available channels including this "home base website" itself.

Until then, everyone; please continue to stay safe as we begin this new month's journey together. See you all later.
