Preparing for the Super Mario Series' 35th Anniversary

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, September 4, 2020 - 07:07 PM

Just snagged the time to make the post about this "breaking news"; as all of you should have already been aware by now, in just a few weeks, the Nintendo company as a whole is preparing to mark the Super Mario game series' 35th anniversary. They have posted a special Nintendo Direct presentation announcing their plans to commemorate this milestone (which goes all the way up to the Spring 2021 season); in case you haven't checked it out yet, you are able to do so here.

I'll be rechecking through said video during the course of next week to focus on certain installments that were featured in the presentation because I have no doubt it's going to shake up my music operation's arrangement target planbook on the backend. Details undisclosed for now, but I can say that not everything featured in the video is on my radar in the months ahead, musically speaking. A dedicated article elaborating on this will be coming soon during the course of this month, so keep your eyes open for that.

Until then, let me just say as a side note that it is a very huge honor to witness the Super Mario game series as a whole reach another huge milestone. I'm just hoping that what I'm planning related to this 35th anniversary milestone will do it justice in the months to come. Later, awesome people!

September 2020 Greetings: "Final Four Months" Are Here Again / Fight For Breakthroughs Continue

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 - 07:44 AM

A day late in terms of doing this formal "monthly greetings entry", everyone, but recently, many "real life situations" outside of these beloved operations have been getting in my way, but it's all for a good reason (I obviously won't disclose the "details" on them). But regardless, we have now hit the "final four months" of the 2020 year, and that's when for all of us in general, we have to prepare to get into "go time".

Here's where things stand in regards to this place right now: at this time, I'm still trying to find the needed breakthroughs on the backend so I can finally start to knock down this massive backlog of upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangement stuff. As I have shared on this previous entry from last month, I have now been forced to find some "music file finalization alternatives" since one of the places which I usually go to in my local area to do this process is still closed to visitors/the public as a result of the health pandemic crisis caused by COVID-19. But it looks like I might be closing in on something that might be my answer; nothing final yet, but I'll keep you all posted.

Finally, a quick reminder that in the meantime while I'm still searching for those needed breakthroughs pointed out above, the two new "Suggestion Forms" that I have recently implemented for this "home base website" are still open for you to check out and submit your responses to them accordingly: the Song Candidate Submissions form and the Featured Mario Game Installments / SNES Music Instrument Sets form. I seriously need all of your responses to these forms because they will be very critical in my planning out new Super Nintendo music style arrangement targets featuring modern Mario game tunes in these "final four months", as well as the 2021 year afterwards. Many thanks in advance to all of you for your support on this one.

Until next time, everyone, please continue to stay safe and I'll see you all later. Hoping for the best, awesome people; I'm out.

Music Operations' "Suggestion Forms" Now Live

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 - 08:56 PM

All right, everyone; as promised since a few days ago, our newest "Suggestion Forms" for this music operations' "home base website" has now gone live, and you're able to find links for access to them by going here.

We have now reached a point in these beloved music operations that yours truly definitely needs to hear from all of you faithful friends/followers/listeners so that I can plan my next steps going forward in locating new song candidates featured in modern Super Mario videogame installments (main and branched, including adventure and spinoff titles) to attempt Super Nintendo music style covers for in the weeks and months to come.

Your help/reponses to the questions asked on these two forms would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you all in advance for taking the time and letting me know what you hope I'll consider and plan for down the road. It really means a lot as we continue to try our best to keep our love for the Super Nintendo music style arrangement stuff alive, especially on the Mario videogame series angle.

As always, if you have any further question regarding this matter, please don't hesitate to contact me about it here via email. Later, awesome people!

New Site Forms Going Live During The Course Of 8/26/'20

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, August 24, 2020 - 07:24 AM

All right faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations, as you are already aware from previous posts before this one, I've been working on two new forms to implement on this "home base website" before August comes to a close in a little over one week from now, and they are supposedly going to be a big help for yours truly in planning for the "final four months" of this year as well as going into the 2021 year.

I am pleased to announce that the upcoming two forms in question are now scheduled to go live during the course of this Wednesday (8/26/'20). The timeframe hasn't been decided yet, but I definitely am optimistic that this will be taken care of then, barring any possible "extinuating circumstances". Will keep you all posted; until then, make sure to keep this site bookmarked if you haven't already. Additionally, make sure that you are following us on Twitter, check out our Discord Portal (if you have a Discord account but don't have access to our server, you can apply for an invite link here), or join our IRC channel on EsperNet so you won't miss the heads-up on when the forms themselves in question actually do go live.

Thanks, all; take care until then. I'm out.
