Quick Heads Up Regarding Our Suggestion Forms and "Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 5, 2021 - 09:24 PM

As you all are already aware, next Friday is going to see the release of the Nintendo Switch installment Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. If you haven't been able to read the announcement I posted the other day regarding how I'm going to handle possible upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangement targeting said installment after the release day hits, you're able to catch up on it here.

You may also know that on our existing "suggestion forms" for this site (specifically the "Song Candidate Suggestions" form and the "Featured Mario Game Installments / Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets" form), we already have the "Super Mario 3D World" game installment involved for both of those forms. For the time being, especially for your response submissions for the first form on this site, please refrain from sending me "song candidate suggestion targets" regarding the "Bowser's Fury" side of the game until after the release date next Friday, 2/12/'21. It's on that day that I'll make sure that adjustments are made accordingly on respective forms showing the Nintendo Switch title of the Super Mario 3D World game as well since once again, the main game itself is primarily a port of the Wii U title with added extras.

Thanks in advance for your understanding, everyone, and let's look forward to next Friday. I'm out for now.

February 2021 Greetings: Still Getting Situated For This "Anniversary Month"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, February 1, 2021 - 07:42 PM

Keeping this short and sweet for our formal "monthly greetings entry" because I just got back home moments ago from dealing with a doctor's appointment (which of course is obviously outside of these music operations, and those kind of things take higher priority over everything else) and was taking a much needed nap after that. But with that all said, welcome to the second month of the 2021 year, everyone.

As this blog entry's title states, I'm still slowly getting everything situated as we now begin this "anniversary month" in earnest. At this time, I'm currently checking all angles on the backend (including my music arrangement target planbook) to see what options I've got in my arsenal that I might be able to share with you as we get through the next few weeks. What I'm really hoping for is not just to get our first new Super Nintendo music style arrangement postings to definitely start off the 2021 year itself; but rumor has it that "the gang" behind the scenes has been in contact with me wondering if I'll ever get to doing a formal "music operations anniversary statement" when the time comes (because as you know, I had to unfortunately cancel doing the one for last year due to COVID-19 hitting the United States in its early stages disrupting nearly everything).

Still can't guarantee anything because things are subject to change not just in terms of real life circumstances involving me outside of these music operations as a whole, but in regarding to my still being in "triple caution mode" personally because of COVID-19 still being a major threat to everything we do. But you can be assured that if any new major developments occur during the course of this month regarding music operations related matters here, I'll be sure to let you faithful friends/followers/listeners know via all available channels including this "home base website" itself.

Until then, everyone; please continue to stay safe as we begin this new month's journey together. See you all later.

"Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury": The "Game Plan" For Upcoming Super Nintendo Music Arrangement Covers

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, January 29, 2021 - 08:07 PM

All right, everyone; as we all should be more than aware by now, in less than one month, we'll be seeing the latest Nintendo Switch port of an unique Mario adventure title that originally was developed for the Nintendo Wii U console... Super Mario 3D World. But as we also know, a few more extras are going to be thrown in the mix for the Nintendo Switch outing here, including an exclusive "side adventure"... Bowser's Fury. If you haven't checked on the details regarding this entire game itself, you're able to so do by viewing this video on Nintendo of America's YouTube channel.

As for how our music operations is going to prepare for this upcoming installment itself in regards to new Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers, here's what's up: recently, gameplay media has started to surface in a "restricted form" from the gaming journalist community. And along with the main video that I've managed to check out from Nintendo of America since two weeks ago, I'm happy to report that at least one new song has been detected for possible Super Nintendo music arrangement candidates in the future months. But, as expected, it's all under the "Bowser's Fury" portion of the game.

So the current planbook at the time is this: after the Nintendo Switch game's release date of 2/12/'21, any new Super Nintendo music style arrangement postings that are done which target the main game (which is Super Mario 3D World, of course) will still remain on this page of our site. However, there is planned to be a link on the page in question which will direct you to a separate sub-page housing any Super Nintendo music style arrangement postings that I may do targeting the "Bowser's Fury" side of the installment. And I'm looking forward to see what I can do and share with you all here when the time does come. So please look forward to it.

Until then, that's all I have to share for now regarding this subject. As always, especially after 2/12/'21, I'll make sure to let you know of any new music arrangement developments as they happen regarding Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. See you all later.

Still Alive; Battling Recent "Outside Situations" / Preparing for the 11th Anniversary in February

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, January 28, 2021 - 10:04 AM

All right, friends; so besides this recent article posting that I did from ten to eleven days ago, things have been a bit... "dormant" on the frontend (possible because we all are still trying our best to get ourselves situated with this new 2021 year itself; but we're just noticing that in just a few days, this first month will be in the history books sooner than we think!). But I can assure you that I'm trying to get things together on the backend so we can get back into the Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove, especially as we prepare for this beloved music operation's 11th anniversary (which will be a reality in less than a month from now).

Until then, here's where things stand now and what I'm trying to get out of the way before months end: first, I still haven't forgotten to check any possible media that has surfaced so far in regards to the upcoming Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury installment for Nintendo Switch (still schedule for release on 2/12/'21). It's still on my "to do" list between now and month's end, and I should be making an announcement on how I'm going to approach the musical score for this thing should any new "song candidates" be found to do the Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover process on. I'm still optimistic about this.

Not only this, but if things go all okay between now and when we get to the "11th anniversary point" next month, we should have our first music arrangement file additions posted for you all to check out. Details are still under lock and key at this time, but I'm more than ready to see about getting this on when the time comes.

In the meantime, you're still able to use the "Song Candidate Submissions" suggestion form and the "Featured Mario Game Iinstallments" / "Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets" concensus form because I'm still wanting to know from all of you in terms of how I should see about approaching my planbook setup the rest of the 2021 year itself, especially after we've arrived at our 11th anniversary next month. It would be greatly appreciated because it looks like we're still reaching a "critical point" in the maintaining of these music operations as a whole going forward, but that's another story altogether.

Thanks once again in advance for your continuing to stick with me as we get ready to deal with another year of Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers focused on Nintendo's beloved Super Mario videogame series (main games, spinoff installments, and the "branched games" as well). Take care, continue to stay positive and safe, and I'll see you again on the next entry posting here on the site. I'm out for now.
