ATTENTION: "DISCORD PORTAL" SERVER INVITE LINK REQUEST FORM TEMPORARILY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Although I have managed to reclaim my respective Discord account itself as of 4/9/2024, we're still doing some backend "recovery efforts" before we start accepting Discord server invite link requests again. More details here; your patience and understanding in advance is greatly appreciated.

Twitter/Discord Portals: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT (As of 12/28/'19)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, December 28, 2019 - 11:23 AM

All right, everyone; heads-up - I've got some important announcements that I need to share which involve two of the "social media portals" for these operations: the Discord Portal and the Twitter Portal.

First up regarding news on our Discord Portal: during the course of last night, I've received word that the same troublemakers that were found to be definitely against me and these music operations are still wreaking havoc on other servers on the Discord which I usually visit in hopes of attempting to ridicule yours truly and this place that I maintain (For security reasons, I will not name those Discord servers here that I visit or the same folks in question who we have found to be responsible for these horrific events against yours truly; but I will state that they are obviously Mario series/Nintendo series related). This is a continuation of the case that we have been experiencing since a few months back as explained in this post; once again, the actions that these folks did against yours truly and these operations as a whole (especially in regards to posting "internal conversations" in a public area of a social media site without any consent) are downright unacceptable; as a result, the offending users got permanent bans from accessing our Discord server and are barred from interacting with me any further. Upon my getting reports that the said troublemakers were trying to start drama in other Discord servers that I'm also involved in since last night, I forwarded it to the respective administrators for action to be taken against them. We're still hoping that this will put an end to this atrocity against me and these operations for a long while, especially as we prepare to head into the 2020 year in just a few days from now.

This is also the reason why our "Temporary Invite Link Request Form" exists since we had to take the public invite link down from this site because it was starting to get abused. It was put in place in the hopes that only legitimate visitors/listeners who meet this criteria can get approved (within the course of 24 - 48 hours after receiving said request) and receive a temporary invite link to the server (which once again, will only be available for 24 hours from when we send the approval email itself). We can't allow for this kind of behavior against us to happen again on any part of these operations, and that includes the Discord server that we have here.

Second, in regards to the Twitter Portal: the "Protected Account" status is still active for our presence on Twitter itself. And chances are that it's going to be that way for quite a while. Once again, if you do wish to follow us there, you will need to submit a follower request and I will have to manually approve you to see our related postings entirely. Like our Discord Portal, this is the security measure that we currently have in place as a result of the same troublemakers posting "internal info/conversations" involving yours truly on a public area of Twitter without any consent at all. We hope that the abuse against us on that end will be put to an end as well so that only legitimate folks will be following us and be in the know in regards to what's going on around here.

Once again, I appreciate everyone's understanding in advance of the situations that have been stated above and deeply apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you faithful folks. But as I stated earlier, this is the line that was drawn since a few months ago after receiveing reports of this said abuse from a certain group of troublemakers that were simply out to destroy and ridicule yours truly and these operations as a whole. And we hope that this will be the last action that will be taken for this abuse to be stopped in its tracks. I'm gone for now; take care, everyone.

Where Things Stand As We Prepare For 2020

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 27, 2019 - 04:35 PM

All right, friends; I hope that you all had a fantastic Christmas holiday a few days ago (I sure did on my end, of course). That all said, it's time to prepare to get back to these beloved operations on the backend and get things ready for the coming 2020 year that'll be at our doorsteps in just a few days from now.

Right now, I'm still waiting for personal funding to arrive on my end from all angles because it's time to do the site/materials backup procedures for these music operations as a whole to ensure that everything is up to date on the backend. That also includes the forum database (even though the "Forum Portal" section of our site has still been dormant/in "maintenance mode" for months due to certain personal situations I'm still trying to sort out), all files that are in use for this site itself, and all my other files in general for the music operations as a whole (including my "tracker files", and all of our music operation's existing MP3 files for our "Gallery List" section).

My hope is that I can see about getting all of this done during the last two days of next week (which would be December 30th and December 31st). Once again, this is needed on the backend for me to ensure that everything is set for when the 2020 year officially begins. And even then, as usual, when all has been accounted for and we start the new year itself, I plan as usual to do a quick "2019 review blog entry post" to share with you all final statistics regarding how many total arrangement files from yours truly were added along with the involved featured installments, and so forth. You'll won't want to miss out on this, everyone.

Until then, as always, you all know the drill if you still have any inquires for me to investigate further into that are music operations related (including this site): please do not hesitate to send me an emailfollow us on our Twitter profilejoin us on IRC, and submit your application to join us at our music operation's Discord server. Once again, for the "Forum Portal" section of our site, I'll see about writing another blog entry to address those matters another day. Take care for now, everyone; I'm out.

Christmas Greetings for 2019

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 - 09:07 AM

Our lead Mario female Princess Peach sharing Christmas greetings to everyone! (courtesy of Nintendo of America's special Happy Holidays website for 2019)

The day has finally arrived, everyone! From yours truly to all of you awesome and faithful followers/listeners of these music operations, I would like to definitely take the time this morning to wish each and every one of you a fantastic Christmas holiday itself today. As I say every year to you all around this time of the year, let's make sure to definitely make the most of this special day after we have first acknowledged the true reason as to why the Christmas holiday itself exists.

As a treat to make this special blog entry posting more festive, here is a posing/scene work that I've recently done using the XNA Posing Studio 3D application; as you can already tell, this features our three lead Mario females (which of course are Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and Rosalina) from the Mario Kart 8 installment. I decided to use these models that were extracted and ported via certain communites which I'll mention later because of my doing recent Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the musical scores of that game and Mario Kart Tour this year (in which these three are also a part of as well). As you can tell, these three are ready for the Christmas holiday itself; I hope we are ready just as much as they are!

Scene/posing work done by yours truly featuring the lead Mario females from Mario Kart 8, ready for Christmas this year! Read below paragraph for further details/acknowledgements.

As for the featured models themselves in the above picture: once again, they are of the lead Mario females from Mario Kart 8; extracted from the Wii U game via certain "insiders" at the Models Resource community and ported for use in XNA Posing Studio by users Hakirya and FatalitySonic2 (DeviantArt members). Many thanks to those folks for making this scene/posing work opportunity that I'm sharing with you here possible.

Quick side note before I start to switch gears and prepare for Christmas happenings and meetup with my real life family/friends network today: I am still making plans to let you know about my next course of action for these operations before the 2019 year is out. But once again, for now, let's just make sure to enjoy this special holiday itself with our loved ones today; when all is said and done and you're all back home and resting, don't forget to join us again at our related "social media" portals at IRC, Twitter, and Discord (I'll still post an announcement about this site's Forum Portal which I'm still aware that it has been lying dormant for months). I'll still be at those three areas when I return from my annual Christmas meetup with family and friends later tonight. Until then, I'm out; see you all later.

"Super Mario Galaxy 2": New Music Arrangement Added - "Staff Credits"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, December 19, 2019 - 10:31 AM

It's been over two years since this page for our music operations (and our site for it) got new Super Nintendo arrangement styled covers targeting the score of this beloved aforementioned game developed for the Nintendo Wii console. Fast forward to today, and we can add finally add the latest cover to that list from yours truly: the "Staff Credits" music from Super Mario Galaxy 2 (using the instrument set/styling of "Disney's Magical Quest 1" (The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse) from Capcom/Dsiney). I've been wanting to do my take on this one for a few years now ever since I also did a SNES music styled cover of the "staff credits" music from the original Super Mario Galaxy game; after the course of two to three days, it's now ready for you all to check out for those who are really curious on how this said song would have sounded in the beloved SNES music style itself.

The only drawback... unlike my cover of the "staff credits" music from the original game that used all eight channels, I had to suffice using six channels in my cover of the "staff credits" music for Super Mario Galaxy 2 (because this was treated as a "gameplay level" like the staff credits layout for New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. U); as you can tell, doing the arrangement process on the tracker backend was quite a challenge in itself to try and match how awesome the original song itself was as composed by lead composer Mahito Yokota. And I hope that with this music cover that I've just posted for you all here today for these operations, we still have given this original song itself justice (because the score overall for the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game itself is still to this day beyond epic).

And with that, we have posted our final Super Nintendo music styled arrangement for the 2019 year (amazingly, the last arrangment that we posted for these operations last year was covering a "staff credits" tune as well!). In the next few days (before the Christmas holiday period itself arrives, of course), I'll be making another announcement in regards to where things go from here as we start to close out 2019 overall. Stay tuned on that angle, and as always, if you have any problems with accessing this new music file itself in question, please do not hesitate to send me an email regarding your situation. Take care, everyone; I'm out.
