Nintendo Switch Console Successor Unveiled - "Nintendo Switch 2"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, January 17, 2025 - 09:01 AM

Good morning, friends; just snagging this opportunity at the current moment to make this "breaking news" post that surfaced during the course of yesterday morning - as many of us videogame hobbyists are more than aware, the Nintendo company as a whole posted their first formal announcement about the incoming console that will follow the still insanely popular Nintendo Switch. The thing is, it's going to be a new "iteration" of it: the "Nintendo Switch 2"; it is planned to have the console itself be in full action during later on in this 2025 year.

First and foremost, the "first announcement" trailer regarding this upcoming console successor from Nintendo can be viewed here via their YouTube channel; second, it's also planned for a "Nintendo Direct" presentation focused on this upcoming console to be posted during the course of early April (more specficially, 4/2/2025). Make no mistake, yours truly will be marking this date to prepare for said day to arrive so I can view this upcoming presentation in question.

Finally, and to the main reason we're posting this blog entry this morning, in that same announcement video posting, we were given teaser hints that the newest major "Mario Kart" installment is currently in the works for the upcoming "Nintendo Switch 2" console, as you can seen in these snapshots I took below.

And you know what that means for our music operations in regards to our Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover endeavors here: when the "Nintendo Switch 2" console officially gets into action (which I believe it's safe to say Nintendo's definitely aiming for later on in this 2025 year itself), a new "era" of Super Nintendo music styled arrangements from yours truly focused on songs from Mario series game made for the "Nintendo Switch 2" system (main games/spinoff games/branched games) will start, and the upcoming "Mario Kart" game installment for said NS2 won't be an exception, without a doubt. We're looking forward to preparing for this new angle of the journey both on the general end as well as the Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover end when the said day comes; until then, keep it here for any new developments involving this newest upcoming chapter. I'm out for now.

Quick Reminders About "Song Candidate Suggestions" and "Community Portals"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, January 11, 2025 - 02:11 PM

Good Saturday afternoon, friends; hoping that you all are enjoying your weekend as well as doing all means necessary to keep warm due to very cold weather conditions attacking us like literal heck (however, definitely keep in your heartfelt thoughts and prayers all of those in the California area of the United States who are dealing with super devastating loss due to the massive wildfire outbreak which has resulted in a numerous amount of homes and other buildings destroyed as well as uprooting a countless amount of lives as a result). This is a situation that's going to be talked about in the months to come, even after we hear news about the firefighters being finally able to gain the upper hand and tirelessly try their best to get all of these active wildfires completely contained over time.

Now to the focus on this posting on a Saturday afternoon - I know I have briefly mentioned this in our "monthly greetings entry" a little over one week ago, but don't forget that I definitely need to hear from you via our two online suggestion forms as we're still getting situated for the 2025 year's challenges. At this time on the backend, I'm trying to work on more new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers focused on songs from Super Mario Party Jamboree (which, as you are also aware, we started the new game page here late last month that will house those covers in question); hopefully, we can see about making progress on them between now and the middle of next month (which is our music operation's "anniversary month" as well). Until then, this online suggestion form, although it still is not a "request form", per se, this does let me know about what you hope which songs from Super Mario Party Jamboree and others will hit my planbook as the weeks and months forge ahead.

Also, I'm hoping to deal with before month's end making an announcement about our existing "interactive community portals" in relation to our music operations here including our IRC channel on EsperNet, our "Discord Portal" server, and yes, even the "Forum Portal" (especially this one, I'm still trying to find time to work on this from the backend for sure). This angle of our music operations definitely needs to bounce back from the devastating setbacks that yours truly experienced during the course of last last year no thanks to the "Discord account crisis" caused by a demeted hacker determined to wreck an entire platform and bring down numerous accounts with it, including mine. But once again, more details about the current state of our music operations interactive community portals will be elaborate on at another time.

Until then, it's time for me to end this here; thanks for your heartfelt patience and understanding in advance regarding all the things shared above. As always, if you have any further question about what's been posted in this article itself, please don't hesitate to let me know via this main contact form so I can get back to you on it during the course of next week upon review. See you all later.

"Year In Review (2024)" Article Now Posted

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, January 4, 2025 - 02:36 PM

Good Saturday afternoon, everyone; although I'm currently in the "weekend mode" routine at this time, I've snagged the opportunity to get our annual "Year In Review" article written up and posted in regards to looking back at the music arrangement cover activity that has occured during the previous 2024 year. And here's a hint: there's at least one featured Mario series' game installment to literally thank for triggering the bulk of that activity itself.

You can find out what game in question it was along with the other "usual 2024 review statistics" involving featured Mario game series installments and featured Super Nintedno music instrument set involvement by going here.

January 2025 Greetings: Making Preparations for the Challenges Ahead

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, January 3, 2025 - 04:17 PM

Good afternoon, friends; yours truly has finally snagged the chance at this time to write and post this formal "monthly greetings entry" for these music operations as a whole to officially start off this month and the 2025 year itself. I am still looking forward to what challenges this year will bring for these endeavors; however, although I'm still trying to get myself resituated at this time after we've finished the "New Year's holiday period", there are a few things from the backend that I need to let you know about so it doesn't look like I'm still "dormant" from the backend (and believe me, it's definitely for real). And the situations so far are these:

(1) Getting Funding Together To Pay The "Site Hosting Bill" Before The End Of This Month
As what was discussed in the "anniversary statement document" last year, because of certain situations prior to our having being forced to go this route, the respective hosting account with AwardSpace is in the "paid hosting" status; we've just gotten a reminder notice from them the other day that we need to prepare to make a renewal payment with them before the end of this month. At this time, this is a high priority situation to ensure that we've got the funding together to get this taken care of as soon as possible so we can get through another hosting year with AwardSpace services without any further problems. I'll keep you all posted on any further developments as well as when this has been accounted for.

(2) Site Materials Backup Procedures Scheduled for Later This Month
Along with having to ensure that our hosting account gets successfully renewed for another year with AwardSpace, we have to also ensure that we've got our entire site materials themselves backed up as well in case of "unfortunate situations" down the road, heaven forbid. It's my hope that we can also get this taken care of before the end of this month before having to prepare to switch gears for our "anniversary month" in February.

(3) Planning Procedures for Upcoming Music Arrangement Content in February
Which brings me to discussing about this briefly because after the above two angles have been said and done, I need to recheck our "Music Arrangements Progress Page" to see what are our next steps to bring our backlog number down even further. Hopefully I'll have a much clearer mind by then so I can plan accordingly for when we arrive at the "anniversary month" itself next month; more details to come at another time.

(4) Reviewing Our "Interactive Community Portals" (Including the "Forum Portal" As Well)
That's right, I still have not forgotten about our music operation's "interactive community portals"; it's just that so many "real life situations" from last year have literally had me put my management of our existing ones on the backburner including trying to figure out how to get certain ones back in action again to get new "followers"/"members" on board who are interested in what these operations have to offer and share (of course, and who especially match the criteria that we ask about on this "About Us" page). Hopefully as the weeks progress, I can do separate announcement postings regarding when will certain "community portals" get back in action again to accept new signups including our main "forum portal" and our "Discord Portal" (which as you also remember, my "account crisis" with Discord itself was the ultimate culprit in regards to why my music operations management efforts have been severely hampered for quite a while; I even mentioned it briefly in our anniversary statement document last year). So stay tuned regarding any further developments on this matter as well.

That's all I have to share for now in this formal "monthly greetings statement" for this first month of 2025; let me just say how grateful I am for you all to still be sticking with yours truly as we get through another new year together for these music operations as a whole. I don't take these God given musical talents for granted and I'm hoping that more Super Nintendo music styled arrangement opportunities involving Nintendo's famed Super Mario videogame series as a whole definitely get found for this 2025 year itself as well. Also, don't forget to let me know via these two online suggestion forms what songs in question you hope I'll consider for my planbook in the months to come (as well as what existing featured Mario installments for our operations along with featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets are you definitely familiar with). And finally, if you have any further questions for yours truly after reading this posting itself, please don't hesitate to let me know via this main email contact form as well and I'll get back to you in a timely manner upon careful review. Take care for now, everyone, and have a fantastic first weekend of 2025; stay warm as well. I'm out.
