Yasuaki Iwata Departs the Nintendo Company
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 - 04:12 PM
Good afternoon, all; we've just received this news related to the Nintendo company itself - another very talented music composer has departed the group to work on other freelancer projects: Yasuaki Iwata.
Yasuaki Iwata is known to have composed many unique songs for Nintendo's many franchises; for the Super Mario franchise itself which we also focus on in my doing Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers for them, Iwata was known for doing songs for Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8. According to sources, Iwata departed the company during July of last year, but only made this post on Twitter (X) recently to confirm the announcement itself.
We'd like to take a moment to also give this same Yasuaki Iwata our thanks for their great contributions to the Nintendo company as a whole on the music front which includes the Super Mario franchise along with wishing him the best in his future endeavors outside of Nintendo. Take care for now until next time around, everyone.

November 2024 Greetings: The "Final Two Months" Arrive; It's Go Time! / Where Things Stand At This Time
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, November 1, 2024 - 04:29 PM
Greetings to all of you faithful friends/followers/listeners of these music operations as a whole; as some people in the news shows would say: "Welcome to November!"
That's right, awesome people - we have now officially entered into the "final two months" of this 2024 year and make no mistake, generally speaking, this is the point where it is definitely "go time" for all of us, and that includes yours truly inside these music operations as a whole and out. And believe me, I'm still working like heck behind the scenes checking my planbook on what should be taken care of next including what new Super Nintendo music styled covers I should focus on next. In the meantime, let me get you all up to speed on what's been going on from the backend:
(1) Attempting To Get Visual Media Materials Together for Upcoming Content in the Weeks/Months Ahead So as of the date and time of this posting, I have been trying to get in touch with my media contacts in regards to requesting certain visual media materials to use in certain content plans in the weeks/months ahead. They've managed to come through for me before earlier this year in regards to getting media materials tied to certain game installments we've covered (including, but not limited to, Princess Peach: Showtime!), but recently, I've been having a hard time trying to get those same contacts to get back with me in regards to the new media requests that I've been trying to file. I'm not giving up, and yes, I'm still patient; besides, these same media contacts in question that I've been trying to reach from time to time recently also have to deal with a bunch of other clients as well and I'm sure they still have a lot on their plate, especially in regards to the holiday season coming up. My only hope is that they'll eventually get back to me in regards to getting certain media materials that I'm wanting to obtain related to Super Mario Party Jamboree. Will keep you all posted on any new developments here as the weeks and months progress.
(2) What Upcoming Super Nintendo Music Styled Arrangement Covers Are On The Horizon? As mentioned earlier, we are in the "final two months" of 2024 and although details are still under lock and key, I can say that I've been working like heck on the backend dealing with covering another "staff credits" song. There's no ETA in regards to when I'll get the chance to finalize it for posting on these operations to share with you all, but I can say that the "foundation" for it is done after 2 - 3 weeks of backbreaking music tracker work; all that's remaining is to get the "melody lines" for that same file accounted for (because we all know how important that angle of the songs still is). I'll also say that when this newest "staff credits" song cover has finally been done and posted, you won't be disappointed with the results, so stay tuned. Additionally, I'm checking on what other songs I can try to make progress on as well on the tracker backend during these final two months of the 2024 year, but the newest "staff credits" song cover is the "big one", of course. In short, get ready for new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement song cover stuff to get posted between now and the end of the year; keep your eyes on this front page and other active "interactive community portals" for any new developments on this angle of said matter as well.
(3) Speaking of "Interactive Community Portals"... Which also brings me to this: I know it's been a very long while since I've talking about our music operations' "interactive community portals" (with the exception of posting this announcement about our "Twitter (X) Portal" which is back in the "protected mode" status again due to certain decisions/changed made by the platform's administration there). First and foremost, I'm still hoping to find space in my schedule to finally get cracking in resuming the setup process of this site's "Forum Portal" return after a few years of hiatus. Second, I'm still hoping that we can find the opportunity to at last resume Discord server invite requests because we definitely need to see about getting new interested members amongst our community there who definitely meet our criteria. The bottom line is that ever since the beginning of this year when yours truly had been going through a "Discord account crisis", most, if not all of our music operations' "interactive community portals" have been for the most part "dormant". Here's hoping that we can change that during these last two months; will keep you all posted on any new developments here too.
Yeah, I know this might be a very long "monthly greetings entry" post to start November off, but it was still needed to help get you faithful friends/followers up to speed on what's been happening on the music operations backend and letting you know that yours truly is still not dead on these endeavors. We're just hoping that we can step up our game during these final two months so we can finish the 2024 year strong and get ourselves ready for the 2025 year itself after that, so help us, God. As always, many thanks in advance for your patience and bearing with us; if you have any further questions about what you've just read in this posting itself, please don't hesitate to send an email inquiry my direction so I can get back with you in a timely manner upon review. Take care until I see you all again next time around and have a great weekend in advance. I'm out.

Now Accepting Song Candidate Suggestions for "Super Mario Party Jamboree"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 - 01:16 PM
Good afternoon, friends; I was hoping to have this written up and posted during the course of last Thursday, but a bunch of real life happenings outside of these operations got in the way regarding making this formal announcement tied to the release of Super Mario Party Jamboree for the Nintendo Switch consoles.
So as the post's title states, we are now accepting song candidate suggestions via this online form to let me know what songs in question from Super Mario Party Jamboree you hope will hit my planbook in the coming months to do Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers for. Please take note that there's still no ETA in regards to when I'll get the process itself started in doing those arrangement covers in question; however, rest assured that there are some songs that still have caught my attention for my planbook to this very day, and certain "instrument sets" will be at the ready when it's time.
Also ensure that on this same online form that along with mentioning what songs from Super Mario Party Jamboree you hope will hit my planbook, the game's title in question is also mentioned in question 2B of the form since we obviously don't have a game page set up on this site as of yet.
That's all for now from me this afternoon; thanks in advance as always for your understanding on what's been mentioned on this post so far. As always, if you have any further questions after reading this announcement itself, please don't hesitate to let me know. Take care until next time around; see you all later.
