August 2024 Greetings: "Summer Months Period" Continues; Still Battling "Roadblocks" But Slowly Gaining Traction

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, August 2, 2024 - 09:31 AM

Blog entry title says all as we start a brand new month for the "summer months period", everyone. Here's what has been going on from the backend so far: as what was elaborated on in this previous article, yours truly has been literally working like heck focused on the "starter set" of upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers featuring songs from the Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. There's still no ETA on when the said first batch will be finalized and posted for our music operations as a whole (which will, of course, be on the same day when the respective game page for this section will go live as well). Stay tuned for more developments regarding this angle in the coming weeks.

Along with this, although the majority of other music operations planning details are still under lock and key at this time on the backend, yours truly has been sorting out a lot of stuff both within it as well as other "real life adversarial challenges" out of it. The latter obviously includes having to get through this brand new month while battling this horrid and brutal extreme summer heat that's once again trying to burn my town (and much of the country that I'm in) to a crisp just like what happened last year.  It's literally been testing my planning and motivation resolve as I'm writing this, but with God as my witness, we'll find a way to pull through this one.

The goal here during this "final month" of the "summer months period" is to review my planbook and see what other "side content" (music operations related) I can take of and cross them off the "to-do" list. There's also some motion on the backend regarding certain "community portals" on the backend; but that's for another time including my finally snagging the opportunity to get the forum software itself for it installed - I just have to find space on my schedule to do the "setup process" on that.

So long story short, we're slowly getting back to a somewhat normal routine for these music operations as a whole, but we've still got a long way to go "recovery phase" wise. Once again, I definitely thank you all in advance and appreciate your understanding during this still "turbulent time" for yours truly; here's hoping as this newest month progresses we'll gain more traction to getting newest content added for these operations, and especially before we approach the "final four months" period where it will really be "go time" for sure. And as always, if you have any further questions on what has been shared in this formal "monthly greetings statement", please don't hesitate to let me know. See you awesome people later.

Follow-Up On SNES Music Styled Cover Efforts Targeting Songs From "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 - 11:36 AM

Hey there, good morning, friends; once again, still alive on the backend sorting out music operations related stuff and hopefully between now and the end of the this month we can get more page content on our site as "summer months period" rolls forward.

Meanwhile, and to the focus of this blog entry posting itself: I'm hoping to update the "Music Arrangements Progress Page" after finishing my writing of this post, but the Super Nintendo music styled arrangement efforts have be progressing in earnest targeting the musical score of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch version). Details are still under lock and key in terms of what songs I have planned to do for the "starter set" that will be implemented when the respective page for said game gets implemented for our site in due time. Will keep you all posted on any new developments on this as they occur in the months ahead, so stay tuned.

Also, don't forget that you're still able to let me know via this online suggestion form what songs from the Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will hit my planbook as the months progress. I'm still finding more possible candidates week after week, but it's still nothing unless I hear from all of you faithful friends/followers of these music operations as a whole that'll help me in future music cover plans targeting stuff from this highly acclaimed game installment in question.

Until next time around, awesome people; see you all later.

Special "Tribute Listing" Paying Our Last Shoutouts/Respects to the Late Geoff Follin

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 - 08:54 PM

Good evening, friends; as you all are very much aware for these music operations as a whole, yours truly has been doing a whole bunch of Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers of songs from modern Super Mario game installments (main, spinoff, and branched) involving the famed instrument sets of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge (LJN/Software Creations) and Plok (Tradewest/Software Creations), created by the Follin brothers (which are Tim Follin, along with the late Geoff Follin).

Tonight, in our making sure to definitely pay our final shoutouts/respects to the late famed videogame music composer Geoff Follin who passed away and went to be with the Lord a little over one month ago (as we have reported on this post), we wrote a special article listing all of the featured Mario game installments that were involved so far in my doing a literally whole bunch of Super Nintendo music styled covers using these two aforementioned instrument sets as of the date as this posting. You can find that article in question related to this announcement by going here.

That's all for now, and once again, may our famed Geoff Follin rest in peace with the Lord himself. We definitely salute Geoff Follin's dedicated efforts within the videogame music composer community at large knowing that we'll see him on the other side when the time comes. See you all later.

July 2024 Greetings: "Second Half" Underway / Correspondence Reminder for Upcoming July 4th Holiday (Thursday)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, July 1, 2024 - 05:02 PM

Very good afternoon to all of you faithful friends/followers of these music operations as a whole; today we now officially start the second half of this more than challenging 2024 year. Thankfully, during the course of the past weekend, we were able to at last post our music operations' "anniversary statement" document for this year (which I was able to announce via this posting last night and finally put this major hurdle off my planbook). I'm still in recovery mode after that to review my planbook to see what I can attempt to get off the backlog next and get most angles back up to speed as we get through this new month of July, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, this is also a good time to remind you all that this coming Thursday is the July 4th holiday. That means that any form of music operations related correspondence sent my direction during that time (including, but not limited to stuff submitted from our main contact formonline suggestion forms, etc.) will be reviewed during the following day (7/5/2024). As always, your understanding on this would be greatly appreciated in advance as yours truly is once again getting stuff together and figuring out how to get new content on our site during this "summer months period" that has been in action full force (yes, what we went through during the course of last month was only the beginning).

That's all I have to share for this "monthly greetings post" today, everyone; as always, let's all hope for the best during this newest month now in action for these music operations as a whole and as always, if you have any further questions/concers that you need to let me know about that are music operations content related, please don't hesitate to let me know so I'll get back to you in a timely manner after review. See you folks later.
