Another Quick Reminder About One of our Online Suggestion Forms

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 - 05:37 PM

Good evening, friends; just snagging the opportunity to give you all a quick reminder about one of our online suggestion forms on this site - more specifically, the "Featured Mario Game Installments / SNES Music Instrument Sets" online suggestion form.

So here's the situation: I'm still in a very huge need to hear from many of you faithful friends/followers/listeners of these music operations as a whole via this specified online form, especially in regards to the "Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets" category letting me know if you're definitely familiar with the games listed under it. Your repsonses to this overall form mean a lot to me as I especially prepare to see about how I'm going to approach doing a lot of potential Super Nintendo music styled covers that target songs from the upcoming Princess Peach: Showtime! game installment slated for release onto store shelves in about 1 - 2 days from now.

Thanks in advance as always for your understanding, time, and consideration to response to this very big need; I especially want to ensure to keep tabs on what Super Nintendo music styled stuff you all are definitely familiar with, especially on the featured music instrument sets end here. It definitely helps with the planning process to tell me what instrument sets should be called on when the time comes to do new covers of potential songs from modern Super Mario game series installments (main, spinoff, and branched) when they hit my planbook (and as I stated earlier, I have no doubt in my mind that my planbook itself might be hit with an onslaught of song candidates from Princess Peach: Showtime! in the coming weeks after the game's relelase). Take care for now, everyone; see you all next time around.

Newest Twitter (X) Poll: The Two "Singapore Speedway (Mario Kart Tour)" Covers

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 - 04:39 PM

Okay, so if you been keep tabs on our latest music operation happenings here, yours truly was able to do a Super Nintendo music styled cover of the "Chinatown Section" theme of "Singapore Speedway" from Mario Kart Tour almost one week ago. More details on said addition can be found at this post if you haven't checked it out yet. The other piece of news is that if you're also a follower at our music operation's SoundCloud profile, both covers that I've done which target each respective version of the "Singapore Speedway" theme have made their way to my personal favorites list there. Thanks to many of you there who've liked and/or reposted these said faves over there, and if you haven't done so already, you're able to do at this page and this page.

Which brings us to the point of this posting itself: so at our profile page at Twitter (X), to mark the occasion of both versions of "Singapore Speedway" having respective Super Nintendo music styled covers done for them, a new poll has been posted for you faithful friends/followers of our music operations there to cast your votes on which "version" is your favorite, song cover wise. The said poll in question can be found here; just please be aware that all votes need to be cast on it before the end of next Wednesday (3/27/2024).

That's all for now and thanks in advance for casting said votes on this latest poll to let me know which "version" do you folks like best. I'm gone for now.

This afternoon, everyone, we have managed to see about getting our "Music File Statistics Rankings Document" up to date reflecting the music cover additions that were posted from late February involving songs from WarioWare: Smooth Moves to what was shared just a week ago involving stuff from Mario Tennis Aces and Mario Kart Tour.

You're able to view the current version of said document by going here; if you're wanting more information on any noteworthy ranking changes made in this update, that can be found by going to this page in question.

If you all have any further questions in relation to this document update itself, please don't hesitate to send an inquiry my way about it. Take care for now, all.

"Mario Kart Tour": New Arrangement Cover - "Singapore Speedway (Chinatown Section)"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, March 15, 2024 - 05:51 PM

And now for the second Super Nintendo music styled cover that I was hoping to see about posting during the course of this month, and it targets yet another super addictive course theme song from the still active Mario Kart Tour mobile app installment.

Here's the thing: as you all might have already been aware, a few years back I did a Super Nintendo music styled cover of the super addictive "Singapore Speedway" theme song from said game (which can be checked out here if you haven't done so already). But in recent months, it came to my attention that the Mario Kart Tour composers also did an "alternate version" of this same song - more specifically, what's heard when we're going through the "Chinatown Section" of the overall course. Upon checking on my sources to hear the musical score itself here, it was yet another candidate for my planbook for me to do the process on - and now it's finally here for you to check out as of tonight.

But the only difference here is of course, the featured music instrument set that was called on to do the process. As you know, when yours truly did the cover targeting the "main theme" for Singapore Speedway, it was using the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge set from Geoff Follin/Tim Follin (LJN/Software Creations). For this cover of the "Chinatown Section" of Singapore Speedway, the instrument set for Konami's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters was called on to match the original song heard from there.

Not to be conceited, but I still recommend listening to both versions of the song cover I did here for Mario Kart Tour's "Singapore Speedway"; as for the "Chinatown Section" version that I've just posted for these operations as a whole, you're able to check it out at the below link.

New File No.
Song Title
SNES Music Arrangement Style/Featured Instrument Set
1
Singapore Speedway (Chinatown Section)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (SNES Version - Konami)

And that does it for the planned music arrangement additions for this month; I'm hoping that during the course of next week, we can update the "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document and get some other backend stuff out of the way because I want to try and definitely focus on doing our starting set of song covers for the upcoming Princess Peach: Showtime! game next (and according to my planbook, it looks like we might be looking at a lot of potential candidates in the months to come after game release next Friday). Until then, and as always, if you have any issues with the new file posting in this announcement, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible. Take care until next time around, awesome people, and I'll see you folks later.
