Getting Ready for "Princess Peach: Showtime!" Next MonthPosted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 23, 2024 - 05:04 PM![]() So, earlier this week, the marketing efforts from Nintendo as a whole started to increase in earnest hoping to get all of us ready for the release of Princess Peach: Showtime! for the Nintendo Switch console late next month. Although I'm still praying for a miracle regarding when in God's name will I ever get a Nintendo Switch console itself at all just for this aforementioned game installment in question, yours truly will still be working his sources to find those song candidates for upcoming Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers here when the time comes. In the meantime, and as a reminder: please refrain from sending me any possible "song candidate suggestions" involving the musical score of Princess Peach: Showtime! until after the game's release itself (which once again, is scheduled for 3/22/2024). Plus, as per our music operation's policy itself, we still need to get answers on who are the game score composers before yours truly can really start the music arrangement process itself (which I hope will not be long until we get those answers because what I've heard so far excerpts wise has gotten my attention already). Thanks for your understanding of all of this in advance and I'll keep you folks posted on any further developments as we prepare to definitely find those song candidates related to Princess Peach: Showtime! in earnest after late next month. Maybe there might be some other related surprises to go along with this as well, but God only knows. Take care for now, everyone; I'm out. No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post Still Sorting Out Backend Matters; New Music Arrangement Postings Coming During Next Week (Hopefully...)Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 23, 2024 - 04:39 PMGood afternoon, friends; hope things are going okay on your end as we're starting to slowly make our way towards bringing this month of February to a close. As for yours truly, I've still been fighting like heck to get music operations related stuff sorted out on the backend so that we can get new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement postings under way for this year at last. No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post Marking Our 14th Anniversary / Where Things Stand Now / Correspondence Reminder for 2/19/2024Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, February 17, 2024 - 01:46 PMSnagging the chance this afternoon to let you awesome and faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations as a whole know that on this day fourteen years ago, yours truly started this endeavor doing Super Nintendo music styled covers of modern songs from certain Super Mario series game installments (main, spinoff, and branched). And despite some setbacks that I'm currently dealing with at this time (which were already elaborated on in previous posts), I'm still on that mission today and haven't regretted any moment of the process. Once again, I still thank the Lord for giving me this musical talent in general that I never take for granted and I also thank those of you who are still supporting yours truly who are both fans of Nintendo's Super Mario video game series as a whole, as well as those who also share that same passion with me to do the Super Nintendo music styled treatment of the "modern" Mario series game installments to this day (from the Nintendo Wii consoles all the way up to the Nintendo Switch console). Here's hoping we'll make it to the 15th anniversary next year! No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post "Valentine's Day" Greetings for 2024 / Where Things Stand So Far on the BackendPosted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 - 01:39 PM![]() So far, the plan is according to our "Music Arrangement Progress Page" to get the latest stuff that I worked on targeting songs from "WarioWare: Smooth Moves" and "Mario Kart Tour" posted and cleared off the backlog there. Details are still under lock and key so far in regards to what has been targeted, but here are a few hints: * For WarioWare: Smooth Moves, the "batch" is targeting an overall "theme" for yet another microgame host who is female. * For Mario Kart Tour, the music cover that I was working on is targeting an alternate "varient" of a highly addictive course theme song (and no, I didn't have to call on the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge instrument set to do this one!). As always, when the stuff does get posted onto their respective pages on this site, I'll let you all know. Finally, although I might elaborate on this further in future posts, you all remember when I stated on this "Year in Review (2023)" article that "[a certain game] in question definitely has my attention big time" which "has a late March 2024 release date attached to it"? Well, if you all guessed Princess Peach: Showtime!, then that is the upcoming installment in question that I've been referring to. Nintendo has slightly upped the ante marketing wise to let us know what we can prepare for regarding said game, and they even did Valentine's Day cards to go with it too, which can be seen here via the Play Nintendo website. And of course, for more details regarding the game itself in question including the story/objective and such, it can be found here. (Now if we can only find out who the composer(s) for this game musical score is/are so we can get the green light to start the planning process for upcoming music covers here; the late March 2024 date itself can't come soon enough!) Until then, I have to end this here because I have to sadly switch gears and prepare for work obligations later on this afternoon. But as always, if you have any further questions in regards to what has been shared on this posting itself, please don't hesitate to send an email my direction so I can get back to you upon reviewing the correspondence. See you all later. No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post
