January 2024 (New Year's) Greetings / What's Being Planned For This Month
Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 - 08:54 AM

Although this is one day late since yesterday was an actual holiday (go figure!), I want to wish all of you faithful friends/followers/listeners of these beloved music operations as a whole a very awesome 2024 which is now officially in action (and as of today, we're all back to normal routines full force in general).
So here's what's going on during the course of this month: right now, I'm still rejuvenating from all the Christmas and New Year's Eve holday happenings that we went through late last month (which also included making those final Super Nintendo music styled arrangements for the previous year as well) and I still have to start taking care of some business related matters outside of here in a few hours from now. But on the music operations side, after I'm definitely back in full strength and in normal groove routine, the plan is to work on writing a few new articles during the course of this month including, but not limited to:
* The "Year in Review" for 2023 (yes, we still have to look back at all the music arrangements posting activity we had here; watch for this in the next few weeks!) * There might be at least one new "Music Instrument Set Clarification" article being written this month due to a certain newly featured Super Nintendo music instrument set being added to our endeavors late last month (hint: check the announcement posting I made involving new covers focused on songs from Mario Tennis Open late last month). * And last, but not least, there also might be a new article written for the "Music File Statistics" section because we still need to share where both the "Featured Mario Game Installments" and "Featured Super Nintendo Music Instrument Sets" categories stand as we start this new year (but man, there were a bunch of upsets to both lists, especially during the course of late last year!).
Yep, that's right, the main focus right now is to get these articles done during the course of this month before yours truly gets back to reviewing his planbook on what should be attacked next for our Super Nintendo music styled arrangements for 2024 (including what's still sitting in this queue hoping for more progress is to be made there). And here's hoping that the odds will be in my favor to finally find the breakthroughs needed to clear this backlog off once and for all before new candidates for future song covers come knocking.
Until then, and in the meantime, friendly reminder that you still play a part in helping me find those new "candidates" in question especially as we start this new year; if you haven't done so already and/or if you've found some new candidates that you hope will reach my planbook in the weeks and months to come this year, make sure to let me know about it via the online forms on this section of our site. And don't forget to see about joining our community portals as well (including Twitter (X), Discord, IRC, and SoundCloud) so you still don't miss a thing during the course of this brand new year. Thanks once again for still being a part of these endeavors from your truly still doing Super Nintendo music styled covers involving the modern Mario game series and here's hoping for the very best as we start this 2024 journey together. See you awesome people later.

Correspondence Processing Reminders Involving the Remainder for the "New Year's (2024)" Holiday Weekend
Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, December 31, 2023 - 04:55 PM
Good Sunday afternoon, friends; I just got up out of my big nap after coming back home from church earlier this morning to snag this chance on reminding you all regarding music operations correspondence that might be received from you all during the rest of this "New Year's (2024)" holiday weekend, especially since we finally have the last Super Nintendo music styled arrangement postings for 2023 in action from last Friday and Saturday.
So here's what you all need to know: unlike last week which had me deal with work obligations right after the "Christmas holiday weekend", we can deal with a more comfortable "catch up" schedule for this coming work week after the "New Year's Day" holiday itself tomorrow. That means any music operations related correspondence that has been submitted for my review to respond on between now and New Year's Day tomorrow will be handled during the course of this coming Tuesday (1/2/2024). Remember that the "correspondence processing" includes submissions from our online site forms (primary inquiries, suggestion forms, plagiarism reports) as well as request to join certain interactive community portals (such as joining our Discord server membership and submitting a follower request at our Twitter (X) Portal). The only exception is if I run into a case from our primary contact form where the matter at hand has been marked as a "HIGH PRIORITY"; all others will be reviewed on Tuesday.
Once again, although this has been a very turbulent year for yours truly and these music operations as a whole, I definitely thank you all for your patience and understanding regarding these matters. And more importantly, many thanks to those of you who are still wanting to hear more Super Nintendo music styled arrangement stuff from me covering stuff from modern installments from Nintendo's Super Mario videogame series (including main installments, spinoff installments, and even "branched" installments), especially as we head into the 2024 year in just a few hours from now. We're looking forward to turning the page on our end as well when it has definitely been made official after we wake up tomorrow morning to start a brand new calendar chapter. See you all later, awesome people; I'm out.

"Music File Statistics" Rankings Document Updated as of 12/30/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, December 30, 2023 - 02:33 PM
As of this afternoon, everyone, the "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document has now been updated for the final time this year to reflect the recent music file additions that were posted between yesterday and earlier today. And once again, stuff was shaken up between both the "Featured Mario Game Installments" category and the "Featured Super Nintendo Music Instrument Sets" category (those changes have also been noted in our rankings changelog).
That's all for now regarding the announcement here; I have one more to share with you faithful friends/followers of these music operations as a whole, but that won't be dealt with until I return back home later this afternoon (I've been dealing with all this final music operations related business on the backend at my town library's computer lab before they close for their New Year's holiday break); for now, I will say that the announcement itself for later this evening is in regards to music operations plans and correspondence handling during the remainder of this New Year's holiday weekend. Be on the lookout for that soon, and until then, I'll see you awesome people later. I'm gone for now.

"Super Mario Bros. Wonder": "Snow Courses" Music Arrangement Cover Added
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, December 30, 2023 - 01:09 PM
And here we go regarding the final angle of this final music arrangement batch addition for 2023, everyone. Just a little over one month since we implemented this page to house Super Nintendo music styled arrangements targeting the score of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, we have another new cover to add for it just in time before this year comes to a close in a little over one day from now.
This time around, the latest cover from yours truly targeted the song we hear for the "Snow Courses" for said Super Mario Bros. Wonder game. Like the majority of other covers that were done featuring the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game score (which can be seen in this previous announcement), there may be some slight difference in this "Snow Courses" song cover (which uses the instrument set heard for the SmartBall game (published and developed by Sony Imagesoft/System Sacom/Game Freak)), but I believe it was definitely the right one to call on to do the process on yet another addictive song from Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I'm sure you'll be able to enjoy this one as well; it's able to be check out via the file link shown in the below table:

And with this, we've reached our final music arrangement addition for the 2023 year. Next on the planbook list is to update our "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document reflecting the recent addition activity between yesterday and today before switching gears to relax for the rest of this weekend. Stay tuned regarding that angle, and like before, if you have any problems with said file itself, please let me know. Take care for now, all; I'm out.
