"Nintendo Direct" Incoming for 9/14/2023 (And Other Related Matters)
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 - 10:09 AM
Good morning, all; I have just received word from my sources that during the course of tomorrow morning, the Nintendo company as a whole has their latest quarterly Nintendo Direct presentation slated for posting during the course of tomorrow morning on 9/14/2023. Timeframes for the United States area this time around are 10:00 A.M. (EST) / 9:00 A.M. (CST) / 8:00 A.M. (MST) / 7:00 A.M. (PST) and the said presentation can be viewed here.
Once again, I'll be checking the media here very carefully to see if there will be any Mario related media involved in it; afterwards, if any Mario game series installments are featured, when I gather related materials together, we'll see there might be any "music arrangements outlook" priority changes that we might need to note since this article from a few months back.
And speaking of which, I'm still hoping that later this afternoon, we'll snag the chance to get another "Music Arrangements Outlook" article written up related to the special Nintendo Direct posting that was shown a few weeks ago revealing main details for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder installment (which can be found here). Stay tuned on that angle; hopefully we can get this out of the way for sure before the new general Direct gets posted tomorrow morning. See you all later.

Two Quick Music Operations News Tidbits Related to "Super Mario Bros. Wonder"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, September 9, 2023 - 09:43 PM
Good Saturday evening once again, everyone; there are two things that I need to share with you all music operations wise related to the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder installment slated for release late next month.
First and foremost, I still haven't forgotten about making room on my schedule this coming week or the week after that to get a new "Music Arrangements Outlook" article written up focused on the recent Nintendo Direct posting that was made revealing additional details about the upcoming Mario series adventure installment. It's gotten my attention on the gameplay itself, for certain; however, the real question for our music operations here is has our "priority outlook" changed regarding planbook efforts since we elaborated on this way back in late June. You'll find out when said article gets posted on this site in due time, so stay tuned.
Second, word has gotten around that a few "teaser songs" related to the Super Mario Bros. Wonder installment have been circulating the 'net via at least one official site from Nintendo themselves. While that's a great way to build hype for the upcoming game's scheduled release late next month, please don't send any "song candidate suggestions" to me regarding stuff from this installment (via this online form) until after the scheduled release date arrives late next month. In short, yes, this game's musical score is already on my raday; however, it's still best to wait for the game itself to officially hit the store shelves when the time comes (and to also find out who are the confirmed composers for the Super Mario Bros. Wonder songs themselves).
That's all for this Saturday night, everyone; once again, keep checking back on this page for any new music arrangement operations development news as the weeks progress. Until next time around, see you awesome people later.

"Music File Statistics Rankings Document" Updated as of 9/9/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, September 9, 2023 - 07:51 PM
Although I'm currently in the "weekend routine" at this time, I managed to snag the opportunity earlier this morning to finally update our "Music File Statistics Rankings Document" to reflect the recent additions that were posted for these music operations late last month (which included covers targeting songs from both Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as well as Mario Kart Arcade GP 2).
I'm hoping that during the course of next week itself, we'll get a new article written up for this section of the site; in the meantime, as you can tell from the rankings changelog, the updates that were made late last month have resulted in some upsets for both the "Featured Mario Game Installments" category and the "Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets" category. And only time will tell if more upsets will occur as the months progress.
I'll keep you all posted on when the new related article elaborating further on this update gets added. Stay tuned.

September 2023 Greetings: The "Final Four Months" Are Here Again; Slowly Playing Catch-Up After The Recent Holiday Weekend
Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 - 04:43 PM
Finally snagged the chance to get our "formal monthly greetings" posted for these music operations officially starting September and the "final four months" period of this 2023 year! I am so glad that we've made it to this point of the calendar because that's where all the "major holidays" fall under during this last quarter of the year. My only hope is that on the backend, we can start to slowly pick up the pace in getting new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers posted for sharing with you all before this year itself is in the history books.
But before I get back to action on that angle and reviewing my planbook regarding which song covers I should tackle next, I'm currently playing a bit of catch-up including getting resituated on the backend catching up on email correspondence as well as finding time on my schedule this week to update the "Music Arrangements File Rankings" document as well as writing a new "Music Arrangements Outlook" article related to the recent Nintendo Direct presentation that was posted last Thursday which focused on the upcoming Nintendo Switch Mario series installment, Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Be on the lookout for future announcements on when these updates in question occur.
In the meantime, as I elaborated in previous posts, don't forget that I still am patiently waiting to hear from many of you via our two online suggestion forms as usual! Especially since they were recently updated upon my posting these recent additions housing the Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers targeting songs from another Mario Kart arcade game installment, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. I haven't decided if any further songs will be done as the months forge ahead; regardless, your input on this specified form will still be a very big help to me giving clues on what songs from this and/or other listed games should be considered in future additions for these music operations as a whole. Yours truly wants to make sure that our music arrangement content activity for this final quarter of the year ends on a very high note (and definitely much better as compared to last year). Despite a whole bunch of real life situations consistently getting in the way including work obligations that have me occupied for most of the latter part of each week, my enthusiasm for the Mario game series as a whole is still strong, as well as my love of the Super Nintendo music style arrangement process. I do not take this God-given musical talent for granted.
However, I'll elaborate further on the "community portal" aspect in another post because I'm writing this formal "monthly greetings entry" from my town's library computers at this time before having to take the town buses heading back to home. But I can say that more than ever, we definitely need to increase our "community portal" numbers for all active channels related to these music operations as a whole between now and the end of this year. I know those people are still out there who are also into stuff like this; we've come too far on these endeavors to shut down now.
Until then, thanks as always for your heartfelt patience as we begin this brand new month of September (as well as the "final four months" period); if you still have any further questions after reading this blog entry post itself, please do not hesitate to send an inquiry my direction so I can get back with you as soon as I get your correspondence. Take care until next time around, and I'll see you awesome people later. I'm out.
