"Music File Statistics" Rankings Document Updated As Of 12/31/2022
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, December 31, 2022 - 11:14 AM
This morning, I managed to snag the chance to get our "Music File Statistics" rankings document updated for the final time this year reflecting the two recent Super Nintendo music styled arrangement postings which were announed on 12/29/2022 and 12/30/2022 respectively. There are also plans to have a new article written for this section of the site to give a brief review of quick noteworthy stuff prior to the 2022 year itself closing. Note that this is not to be confused with my dealing with gathering statistics regarding music arrangement content activity for this year; that's a whole different article altogether and more details regarding said matter will be elaborated on during the course of next month itself as we get situated to take on the 2023 year.
On a slightly unrelated note; as you might have noticed, certain pages on the site have been reflected to prepare for the upcoming 2023 year itself when it becomes official in a little over twelve hours from now; any update statistics and such that were listed under the 2022 year have now moved to their respective "archive pages" on the site.
As always, if there are any issues that you have encountered regarding all of this said stuff stated above that I might have overlooked, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance, everyone, and I'll see you faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations as a whole in 2023. I'm gone for now.

News of Site / Hosting Account Access "Issues" Due To Possible "Traffic Abuse"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 30, 2022 - 10:56 PM
Heads-up, everyone - if you all were attempting to view this site a few hours ago (more specifcally, the early evening hours on or after 5:00 P.M.), you may have encountered that it was inaccessible due to the AwardSpace hosting administration's internal departments noticing that there was a very suspicious amount of traffic directed at this place (more specifically, they informed me that earlier today, the site encountered 9,831 hits in under one hour).
After responding to their notice about this, they managed to get our hosting account restored and active again; regardless, I'm starting to take precautions at this time including immediately doing a site backup in case another unfortunate account suspension like this happens again.
That all said, let me be clear that along with the hosting adminstration at AwardSpace, I too am literally and deeply concerned about this matter after being informed about the abnormal amount of traffic received on this site earlier today in just under one hour. This tells me that apparently someone outside of this place is solely responsible for sending that suspiciously high amount of traffic to here which triggered red flags from the site hosts prompting the account suspension. AwardSpace has zero tolerance for this kind of abuse, and I won't stand for it either. I have immediately asked the AwardSpace hosting staff to see if they have any leads in terms of who could be responsible for that "traffic overload" from earlier today so that we can review further options for contacting authorities and hold said person(s) accountable for committing this abuse against our site (and against the AwardSpace hosting service itself); I'm currently waiting to hear back from them on the matter.
Once again, our sincere apologies for the inconveniences you may have encoutered from earlier today; take care for now, everyone.

Final Music Arrangement of 2022 from "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 30, 2022 - 01:29 PM
And just in time to close this very insane ride we've been through that is the 2022 year itself... we have our final Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover to share with you faithful friends/followers of these operations as a whole... and it's targeting yet another song from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
Yep, this had to be done eventually according to my planbook on the backend... it's the "staff credits song" that was composed for the game when all has been said and done in completing each "episode" for the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker installment. And wouldn't you know... thank heavens that this is one of those "rare cases" where in my "tracker application" for doing this process itself that I could all eight channels instead of six channels or less to try and match the original song itself! Not only that, but I was able to use the featured instrument set originally heard in Konami's Animaniacs SNES game (as created and composed by Tomoya Tomita) in trying to keep with the "original styling" of the "Captain Toad and the Toad Brigade" exploration theme itself. Amazing, right?
But enough of my brief "explanation"; click the newest file link below so you'll have a further understanding of what I'm talking about here.

As mentioned earlier (and at the top of this blog entry post itself), this now concludes my Super Nintendo music style arrangement plans for these operations as a whole in 2022. However, later on (and apparently during the course of this upcoming "New Year's Weekend"), I'll see about possibly doing a "greetings post" in regards to where we go from here as we prepare to completely place 2022 in the history books and look forward to what challenges might be waiting for us when 2023 arrives. Stay tuned on that front, and as always, if you have any issues in accessing the newest file link above, let me know via this form as soon as possible so I can check into the matter. See you all later.

New Arrangement Cover Targeting A Song From "Mario Sports Superstars"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, December 29, 2022 - 04:45 PM
All right, friends - this is one of the final two Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers to close the 2022 year out, and it targets one of the "short songs" that has been on my radar ever since I started this page housing stuff targeting music from the Nintendo 3DS game Mario Sports Superstars a little over two years ago.
More specficially, this newest cover targets the song heard during the "tutorials" section of said game. As stated earlier, it may sound simple, but composer Motoi Sakuraba in my honest opinion still knew how to make the sound very addictive to enjoy listening to and my doing this cover of it is literal proof of that.
The newest posting in question can be checked out by clicking on the link below.

Goal! |
As stated earlier, you won't want to miss the second posting headed your way during the course of tomorrow! Details are still under lock and key... but I'll leave a hint that what will be shared will be a new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement using the "all eight channels" approach (which has been done on very rare occasions in the past). I'm sure you'll love it as well when it goes live. Take care until then, awesome people!
