News of Site / Hosting Account Access "Issues" Due To Possible "Traffic Abuse"Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 30, 2022 - 10:56 PMHeads-up, everyone - if you all were attempting to view this site a few hours ago (more specifcally, the early evening hours on or after 5:00 P.M.), you may have encountered that it was inaccessible due to the AwardSpace hosting administration's internal departments noticing that there was a very suspicious amount of traffic directed at this place (more specifically, they informed me that earlier today, the site encountered 9,831 hits in under one hour). No Comments | Server News | Print this Post Final Music Arrangement of 2022 from "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker"Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 30, 2022 - 01:29 PM Yep, this had to be done eventually according to my planbook on the backend... it's the "staff credits song" that was composed for the game when all has been said and done in completing each "episode" for the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker installment. And wouldn't you know... thank heavens that this is one of those "rare cases" where in my "tracker application" for doing this process itself that I could all eight channels instead of six channels or less to try and match the original song itself! Not only that, but I was able to use the featured instrument set originally heard in Konami's Animaniacs SNES game (as created and composed by Tomoya Tomita) in trying to keep with the "original styling" of the "Captain Toad and the Toad Brigade" exploration theme itself. Amazing, right? But enough of my brief "explanation"; click the newest file link below so you'll have a further understanding of what I'm talking about here. As mentioned earlier (and at the top of this blog entry post itself), this now concludes my Super Nintendo music style arrangement plans for these operations as a whole in 2022. However, later on (and apparently during the course of this upcoming "New Year's Weekend"), I'll see about possibly doing a "greetings post" in regards to where we go from here as we prepare to completely place 2022 in the history books and look forward to what challenges might be waiting for us when 2023 arrives. As stated earlier, it may sound simple, but composer Motoi Sakuraba in my honest opinion still knew how to make the sound very addictive to enjoy listening to and my doing this cover of it is literal proof of that. Details are still under lock and key... but I'll leave a hint that what will be shared will be a new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement using the "all eight channels" approach (which has been done on very rare occasions in the past). After that, here's where we go from here: during this coming week, I'm still trying to get at least one new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover done and ready for posting before the new work week is out and especially before this very turbulent 2022 year is in the history books. Detaiils are still under lock and key, but I'm sure that when the new stuff gets posted for you all to check out, you won't be disappointed as always. Finally, another "email correspondence reminder/heads-up" - any music operations correspondence that is received between now and tomorrow (which is Monday, 12/26/2022) will be reviewed/processed during the course of the following Tuesday (12/27/2022). Keep in mind that I'm still in the "recovery mode" due to slowly sorting stuff out due to a passing in my own family three Fridays ago, but I will review each one carefully when the opportunites present themselves to do so as I get inquiry submissions from you all.
