Quick Update About Upcoming Music Arrangement Covers As Of 10/28/'22

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, October 28, 2022 - 03:13 PM

Good afternoon, faithul friends and followers of these beloved music operations as a whole; finally snagging the chance during this break in my work obligations outside of here today to let you know that I'm still alive on the backend - it's just that real life situations have recently been attacking me like no tomorrow from all angles and that has been what is slowing me from making progress on upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers.

But that definitely does not mean that yours truly is completely out, for sure. As of the date and time of this posting, I've been carefully checking our "Music Arrangement Progress Page" to figure out how we can get the majority of this backlog down to a very low number before years end. Right now, it seems like according to my planbook on the backend and also based on responses I've gotten from recent polls and such, it looks like I'm trying to see about making a dent in the backlog related to stuff from Super Mario Odyssey (which according to my sources, has reached its 5th anniversary of the installment's release to Nintendo Switch console systems). Not to mention that it's been nearly four to five years since I've done any new Super Nintendo music styled covers focused on songs from this game (last update was done on 12/3/'18);  I'm just hoping that the music drought for the aforementioned page on our site will be broken during the course of next month.

This one thing is for certain after the Super Mario Odyssey stuff, though: I'm also carefully planning on what to go after next from this same backlog because as stated earlier, I definitely want to get this number down before year's end. All "details" are still under lock and key, but I can assure you that when this stuff finally becomes available to check out, you won't be disappointed.

As always, I wholeheartedly thank you all for your very honest patience with me during this time; I know this has been yet another very challenging year for all of us, myself included. In the meantime, if you haven't already regarding future candidates which you'll hope I'll do song covers of in the Super Nintendo music style in the months to come, don't forget to make them know to me via this online form. Every little bit helps in my getting my planbook together as we forge ahead in this thing; it is greatly appreciated.

That's all for now; have a fantastic weekend and I'll see you all again next time around... apparently when we officially start November in a few days from now. Later, all.

A Quick Note Regarding The Recently Announced "Super Mario Bros. Movie"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 - 06:32 PM

Finally snagged the chance to get this written up (I'm at my town's library computers as of the date and time of this posting) - as we all should be well aware, during the course of last week, the folks at Nintendo of America posted this recent Nintendo Direct presentation announcing the first trailer for the upcoming movie with the folks at Universal Pictures / Illumination Entertainment called "The Super Mario Bros. Movie"

Although yours truly is looking forward to when this movie itself finishes production and gets released to theaters (currently slated for April 7, 2023), unless there are announced videogame projects from Nintendo and related parties with them that might be done in relation to this movie (although I'm not holding my breath on that one), there are no plans for me to attempt doing any Super Nintendo music styled covers here at this time. But make no mistake, yours truly is definitely looking forward to any new developments that surface as we patiently wait for the release date to arrive for this movie come early next year.

As always, I'll keep you posted on any breaking game related news that might come that might also be in relation to this upcoming "Super Mario Bros." movie installment. Stay tuned, everyone! I'm gone for now.

"Limited Availability" At This Time Due To Recent House Desktop Computer Issues

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, October 10, 2022 - 01:46 PM

Good afternoon, friends; hope you all are doing well on your end as of the date and time of this blog entry's posting. As for yours truly, I'm sad to announce that due to recent issues regarding my house's desktop computer since last Saturday night (specifically the boot up process when attempting to turn my computer on), my availability to deal with music operations related stuff on the backend will be very limited until needed funding arrives for me to take my house's desktop computer to the shop for servicing.

I am hoping that the wait won't be very long; rest assured, however, that I'm trying my best to utilize all other legitimate backend means necessary to forge ahead on music operations related stuff (I'm writing this while logged on to the town library's computers at this time, by the way). Just be aware that it might take me a bit longer than usual to get back with you all on any music operations management related backend correspondence that I may receive between now and when my house's desktop computer's issues get sorted out and fixed.

Thanks in advance for your understanding on this situation and I'll see you all later.

October 2022 Greetings: Still Trying To Clear The Planbook's Backlog...

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, October 3, 2022 - 09:28 AM

Hey there, faithful friends and followers of these beloved music operations; we're now officially in our second of the "final four months" period! Keeping this formal "monthly greetings entry" brief because I just got up a few hours ago but wanted to get this dealt with first thing in the morning before heading out to take care of other business at hand.

As this entry's subject title states, I am still slowly but surely trying to figure out how I'm going to attack the majority of this music arrangements target backlog that's been staring me in the face for almost one year now. So many real life situations on my end have been getting in the way from all angles, but I still have a determination to get some progress made so that backlog counter for our music operations here can get down to near zero. As always, I'll keep you faithful folks posted on any new developments that have been made on this front.

In the meantime, even though my focus right now is to get our backlog number down before the 2022 year is in the history books, don't forget that you're still able to play a part assisting me in finding song candidates that you think I should do Super Nintendo music styled covers for in the months to come. If you think you've found a candidate that you hope will get my consideration down the road, make sure to let me know about it via this online suggestion form

Also, don't forget that we're still in need of new followers of our Discord serverIRC channelSoundCloud profile area, and our Twitter profile! We're still trying to grow our follower communities because I still have a strong belief that there are many of you Super Mario videogame enthusiasts who are also fans of the Super Nintendo music arrangement cover process for them; just make sure that you obviously have met this criteria before making your join attempts.

That's all for now because I have to get going for real. But alongside what was elaborated earlier on this post, if you have any further questions that are obviously music operations management related for me to check into, make sure to let me know via this main email contact form.  Thanks in advance; see you all next time around. I'm out.
