"Mario Kart Tour" - New Arrangement Cover Added: "Sky-High Sundae"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 - 04:29 PM

New Mario Kart Tour music arrangement cover coming your way, awesome people! This time around, it targets yet another "tour exclusive" course that got into action since the middle of last week, and it also carries a song that caught my attention since the day of its announcement: Sky-High Sundae.

The only challenge that I had when this was thrust into my planbook on the backend was what featured Super Nintendo music instrument set for these operations should be called on to do the "music tracker process" for this song cover itself. And thank heavens that we did have one on standby that we haven't used in months... Konami's Gradius III. For those who are familiar with the instrument/song stylings from that game, I'm sure you'll be in for a treat in terms of how I approached using this set to do this new cover for Mario Kart Tour's "Sky-High Sundae" course theme song.

Be aware that although this doesn't match how epic the original song itself is, I still had to take some "arrangement liberties" because there were certain parts of the song that were with all due respect... a bit insane (especially in regards to the "bass line" section). But I still made sure that the "high energy" of the song itself was still there, especially at some critical parts of the song itself. I'm sure you'll enjoy the end results of this as well.

The download link to said file can be accessed below:

That's all for now; as always, if you have any problems with accessing said file itself, please let me know as soon as possible. See you all later.

Two News Tidbits Regarding Music Arrangement Happenings Involving "Mario Kart Tour"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, August 13, 2022 - 05:01 PM

Apologies again for being "dormant" on the frontend music operations wise, everyone; however, I can tell you that I am still not silent on the backend! So many real life happenings have been hitting me left and right and I've just snagged the chance during this Saturday afternoon to give you two "formal announcements" and once again, they're both involving my Super Nintendo music style cover efforts regarding songs from Mario Kart Tour.

First, for those of you who are confirmed followers of our Twitter Portal profile, I posted during the course of yesterday this new poll regarding the song covers that have been posted so far related to Mario Kart Tour. More specifically, it's regarding to the feature music instrument sets that have been involved so far and I'm just curious to know what's everyone's favorite music instrument/arrangement style from these covers that are available for your checking out so far. Don't forget that this poll itself will close during the course of this coming Friday (8/19/2022), so make sure you don't procrastinate and lock in your votes before then. And as always, if you are not a confirmed follower for our Twitter profile itself, make sure to head for our profile page and submit a follower request there (if approved, then you'll be able to see that poll itself in question).

Second, if all goes to plan, another new music cover targeting yet another tune from the Mario Kart Tour game itself will be headed your way during the course of next week. Details are still under lock and key in regards to what that song could be, but dang, those composers have been ON FIRE regarding new course tunes for this game as of late! I'll elaborate further on this once I snag the chance to finalize the new file in question for posting; you won't want to miss this when it goes live!

Until then, that's all for now; I've got to get back into my "weekend mode" routine. You all have a great rest of your weekend, and I'll see you awesome people again during the course of the new week itself. I'm out.

August 2022 Greetings: Reviewing Our Planbook Before the "Final Four Months" Arrive

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, August 1, 2022 - 09:26 PM

Hey there, everyone, and welcome to August! I hope you all are doing well as we're still trying to get situated in this brand new month right before we hit the "final four months" period after this which I am definitely looking forward to.

But at this time as I write this monthly greetings entry, I'm currently checking music operations stuff on the backend including (but not limited to) finally snagging opportunities to deal with this upcoming music arrangements backlog, deal with some backend maintenance on portions of this site itself, and also get you all up to speed on other happenings regarding this site itself ever since we moved our hosting account to the hosting administration at AwardSpace a few months ago. And that's just the tip of this month's "to do list". But we'll get through this and hope that the odds will be in our favor to get things done before September arrives at our doorsteps.

In the meantime, another quick reminder that I'm still patiently waiting for you all to definitely send your song candidate suggestions to me which will assist in my plans for what certain songs you hope I'll target to do new Super Nintendo music styled covers on as the months progress on from this point (and especially after I manage to see about trying to making plans on making a big dent on this backlog). Your input on this is still very important to me and I still do not take anything for granted regarding it. It is very much appreciated in advance.

That's it for now, everyone; until next time around, let's look forward to what may be coming for these music operations in the weeks ahead for this brand new month. See you all later.

Newest Music Cover Targeting A "Mario Kart Tour" Song - "Bangkok Rush"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, July 28, 2022 - 04:21 PM

Sorry for the long wait on getting this newest Super Nintendo music styled arrangement posted and out the door for you all to check out, everyone; but as I promised myself from earlier this month, I wanted to make sure that this new file in question got accounted for by the end of this month.

And this is the said cover in question... targeting the "tour exclusive" course that was in action from 6/29/'22 - 7/13/'22: "Bangkok Rush". And like other "tour exclusive" songs from this game that have caught my attention as of late like the Singapore Speedway song and the Vancouver Velocity song, we can now add this one to the list of "most addictive songs to listen to and do a song cover of". You'll find out why I'd say that after checking out the available file link in question below.

New File No.
Song Title
SNES Music Arrangement Style/Featured Instrument Set
1
Bangkok Rush
Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge

That's all I've got for now because after this point, I'm trying to plan and find out how I can see about finally snagging the chances to work down this backlog as the months forge ahead. But that doesn't mean that I'm still on the hunt for new candidate either; I'll see about elaborating on this further in a future blog entry post for the site.

Until then, and as always, if you have any difficulties in loading the new file in question tied to this music file addition update, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible. Take care until next time around, everyone; see you awesome people later.
