"Super Mario 3D Land": 10th Anniversary Reached

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, November 5, 2021 - 09:03 PM

This just in from my sources, everyone: on this month in question ten years ago, the Nintendo 3DS installment under the name of Super Mario 3D Land started to get unleased onto store shelves around the world. On the general front, this game established a lot of "firsts" that would be seen in many other game installments for Nintendo's Super Mario videogame series after that (both main installments and spinoff installments) that are too many to mention in this post.

But here on the music operations front, this same game in which I've done a few Super Nintendo music covers for (which can be checked out on this page, by the way) triggered a few "firsts" as well including the introduction of music instrument sets that were originally heard in the games of Bubsy: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind (Accolade/Solid Software), Disney's Aladdin (Capcom/Disney), and Disney's Bonkers (Capcom/Disney) that I have used in the majority of coveors targeting songs from this game so far.

As for if there are any plans to do more song covers focusing on songs from the Super Mario 3D Land installment, I haven't made any decisions on that yet (especially as I'm currently focused on trying to clear the majority of this backlog first before year's end). However, in the meantine, if you've run into any songs from this game which you think I should consider doing a Super Nintendo music style cover on, please don't hesitate to head for this form page and let me know (just make sure that you have chosen the "Super Mario 3D Land" option from question 2A). That's all for now, everyone; take care until I see you all during the course of next week itself. I'm gone for now.

"Twitter Poll" Results (10/4/'21 - 10/21/'21) - "Priority Statuses" for Upcoming Music Arrangement Covers

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 - 05:39 PM

This evening, everyone, I've managed to snag the chance and get a new article written up sharing the "priority status" results based on the previous series of polls that I posted at our music operation's Twitter Portal. Once again, from the perspective of those of you all who are following us there, this is telling me what you all hope I'll consider doing as I slowly make progress in clearing out this backlog which is still staring at me in the face as I write this.

You can see the "priority status" results in question by going here. If you have any further questions regarding this, please don't hesitate to send an email my direction about it. Take care for now, all.

November 2021 Greetings: Preparing for "Go Time"!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 1, 2021 - 08:19 AM

No denying this, awesome friends/followers of these beloved music operations... we have now hit November and the "final two months" of 2021! And you know what that means: on the general front, it's time to get ready for two major holiday happenings to hit. But here at these music operations, yours truly is still making preparations to head into "go time" as well in an effor to finally start clearing the majority of this backlog.

Here's what's been going on: I've been slowly been making progress behind the scenes getting some more Super Nintendo music styled covers done so we can finally see about starting the finalization process and get new stuff posted. Details are still under lock and key in terms of what is planned to get out the door first to share with you all, but the bottom line: we're defintely going to get this music update drought eliminated soon enough between now and the end of this year. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, as I have elaborated on previous blog entries on this site, don't forget that I'm still accepting song candidate suggestions via this online form so you can let me know which songs from certain games you hope I'll consider doing Super Nintendo music style covers for. This also includes stuff from installments that were released since earlier this year including Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Mario Golf: Super Rush, WarioWare: Get It Together!, and Mario Party Superstars. But make sure to read the floated announcements on the form page in their entirely before attempting to fill the form out and submitting your responses to me.

Until then, I thank you all again for your patience as yours truly is preparing to finally get back into high gear and clear this backlog out which is still staring me in the face as we speak. We managed to power through this situation during the course of last year when COVID-19 tried to throw a major wrench in the groove, and I'm very sure we can do it again this year. Stay tuned for any new developments, everyone, and I'll see you all again next entry. I'm out.

"Mario Party Superstars" Release Day - "Song Candidate Suggestions" Submissions Now Open

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, October 29, 2021 - 11:51 AM

Good morning, friends; in case you haven't been aware yet, we have arrived at release day for the all-new Mario Party Superstars installment, now available for the Nintendo Switch console. This also now means that for our music operations here, I am now accepting "song candidate suggestion" submissions from you all via this form to let me know what songs in question from the aforementioned game do you hope I'll see about taking into consideration for doing future Super Nintendo music styled covers on. Granted, after I see about clearing out the majority of this backlog in the coming weeks, I too will be looking for those candidates in question because the potential is still way up there, even though I have it in a "low priority status" (as I elaborated on this article one to two months ago).

As always, if there's any new developments regarding my doing new covers involving music from this game in the coming months, I'll make sure to let you all now in a future blog entry. But until then, I do appreciate in advance your helping me out to find those Mario Party Superstars song candidates. I'm gone for now; see you all next time around.
