New Music Covers Incoming During This Week or Next Week...?

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, October 25, 2021 - 07:54 PM

Although there's no set day on when we'll have new Super Nintendo music styled covers focused on Super Mario (main and branched) game songs posted for these beloved music operations, this one thing is very clear: I'm happy to announce that if all goes to plan, we'll finally be able to break this horrid drought that has plagued yours truly (and this operation as a whole) since early June when the "summer months period" was in action (and after I posted these said additions back then). Believe me, friends, I've patiently been waiting for the window of opportunity to open up, and it looks like it's about to get to that said point.

Here's what's been going on: as I am writing this blog entry, I've been hard at work on the backend on new Super Nintendo music styled covers targeting songs from (but not limited to): Mario Golf: Super Rush, WarioWare: Get It Together!, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, just to name a few. As you might have noticed on our "Music Arrangements Progress Page", there are a total of 30 songs that are on the queue (which include 5 song covers pending targeting stuff from Mario Golf: Super Rush and 4 song covers pending that focus on stuff from WarioWare: Get It Together! - and that's just for starters). But as I stated in previous entries before this one, yours truly is slowly making progress to finish these latest covers because we seriously need to get this queue number down to a very low number before the year is out. But please understand that there is no guarantee that we'll get the queue number to zero; however, I'm still more than determined to make preparations to get most stuff on the current queue posted. I'm also more than confident that what I will have to share with you in the coming weeks will not disappoint. You won't want to miss it when said song cover postings get added in due time.

Until then, and if you haven't done so already - along with making sure to keep this page in your browser's bookmarks, don't forget to follow us on our social media portals (which include our Twitter profile page, our Discord server which is accessible after filling out our application and receiving approval, and our IRC server on EsperNet). We definitely need to see about increasing our follower counts between now and the end of this year (and especially for when we start the 2022 year as well in two to three months from now).

As I told you faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations before, my passion for the Super Mario videogame series has not waned and neither has my doing Super Nintendo music styled covers of the modern songs under this series (and branched installments too). I definitely appreciate your heartfelt patience in advance as we continue to get through these challenges together; just hold on a little while longer as we get ready to start getting some new covers finalized either later on this week or during the course of next week as we start November. Take care until next time, everyone; I'm out for now.

Follow-Up On Recent Batch of "Twitter Polls" (10/21/'21)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, October 21, 2021 - 08:04 PM

Blog entry title says all, everyone; this is just a quick follow-up posting to what I announced here a few weeks ago as I was asking for assistance in trying to plan out how to clear a majority of my backlog regarding new Super Nintendo music style covers to share on these operations before year's end.

So for those of you who are following us at our Twitter profile page in connection to these music operations, all games that I have currently listed from our site's "Music Arrangements Progress Page" are now accounted for in regards to polls for each one asking which "priority status" should I give between now and the end of this year. I will be reviewing the responses in the next few days and hopefully write up another article about this in the next few days; in the meantime, I am starting to see clues in regards to which games you all think I should focus on the most to get the backlog down. Believe me, I'm also trying my best to get it down as well since we haven't had any new music arrangement content to share with you all since June. Hang in there, all; this "drought" will be over soon enough.

Until then, I do thank you all for your patience during this time; I've still been dealing with a lot of "real life stuff" outside of these operations as of late, but you can bet that I'm still trying my best to get this done and get new Super Nintendo music style covers out the door. And I believe you won't be disappointed in what I've got to share in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

"Song Candidate Submissions" Suggestion Form: Addendum Regarding Stuff From "Super Mario 3D World / Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, October 11, 2021 - 08:33 PM

Good evening, friends; earlier today on the backend, I managed to see about adding an additional note on our "Song Candidate Submissions" suggestion form to mainly address and/or clarify some things in the event that you might have possibly found some song candidates that you hope I might consider doing the Super Nintendo music style arrangement treatment on involving stuff heard from the Super Mario 3D World game.

Here's the thing: as you all are already aware, there are two versions - first is the original version done for the WiiU console, then a few years later came the Nintendo Switch version (but under the name of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury). You all may also be aware that I've been working on a few new Super Nintendo music style covers to share with you in the coming months targeting songs from the Nintendo Switch version of said game (but mainly from the "Bowser's Fury" side). I'm slowly making progress on this; more details on this will be shared another time.

But to the main point of this post: this is what you need to know if you are preparing to relay song candidate suggestions to me regarding stuff from Super Mario 3D World / Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury: the respective game option in question 2A of this form will obviously cover both the WiiU and Nintendo Switch versions of the aforementioned game (which will also include stuff from the "Bowser's Fury" side of the latter version). After you have selected the game from the dropown menu, ensure that in question 3 of the form that you definitely specify which songs in question that you had in mind for me to consider for me to have an idea of what you hope I'll have in my planbook for future Super Nintendo music style covers covering this overall game as the months progress.

If you have any further questions regarding this, please don't hesitate to send an email my way and I'll see if I can clarify it further for you. Thanks in advance for your understanding on this, and I'll see you all again next time around. I'm gone for now.

New Series of "Twitter Polls" - Needing Assistance on Clearing Out A "Music Arrangements Backlog"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, October 4, 2021 - 04:54 PM

So here's the situation that's going on at our music operation's Twitter Portal area: for those of you who are confirmed followers over there, I need your help in regards to which involved games from our "Music Arrangements Progress Page" should be given focus ("priority status" wise) as I'm trying my best to see about deciding which involved games should be focused on to clear the "backlog" during the course of now and especially before the end of this year. As always, each Twitter poll posting has a one week timeframe from the time of its posting to ensure everyone has a chance to cast their votes on each installment involved that's currently in our backlog at this time.

Today, the first poll has been posted on our Twitter profile account, and it's targeting the "Mario Kart 8" / "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" installment in regards to the Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I've been trying to find the chance to make progress on there. The following days (except on Saturdays and Sundays, of course), be on the looking for these same kind of polls targeting the following installments:

* Super Mario Odyssey
* Mario Golf: World Tour
* Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit
* Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
* Super Mario 3D All-Stars
* Mario Kart 7
* Mario Golf: Super Rush
* WarioWare: Get It Together!

On a side note, for those of you who are also confirmed members/followers of our music operation's Discord server, I'll be working on a poll like this for you all hopefully during the course of later tonight or during the course of tomorrow. Stay tuned on that front.

And finally, if you haven't done so already - if you do have a Twitter account and haven't followed us there yet, please don't hesitate and submit a follower request on our profile page so I can see about reviewing said credentials in hopes for approving you. Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter, and take care until next time around. I'm out.
