"WarioWare: Get It Together!": "Song Candidate Suggestions" Reminder

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, August 26, 2021 - 09:07 AM

Okay, awesome people, as you may already know in regards to the upcoming WarioWare game installment for the Nintendo Switch console (titled WarioWare: Get It Together!), Nintendo recently posted a demo for checking out via their eShop to get everyone ready for this game's official release day on 9/10/'21. Additionally, just a few days ago, they also posted a new "gameplay details" video demonstrating what we can expect upon purchasing the game itself, and it can be seen here via their respective YouTube channel.

But to the point of this post: this is just a quick reminder that although the aformentioned demo has been in action in regards to this upcoming installment, I still would advise and kindly remind you all to please hold of sending me any possible "song candidate suggestions" to me until on or after the game's release date of 9/10/'21. That said, I can confirm that yes, some songs that I've heard are on my radar to prepare for doing the Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover process on, and I look forward to getting on them when the time does come and my planbook's song target decreases.

Once again, I thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding on this matter; I'm sure that when I do get to sharing these upcoming SNES music style covers with you targeting songs from this said game in question, you'll not be disappointed. I'll see you all later.

Happy 30th Anniversary to the Super Nintendo Game Console!

I've just received word from my sources via this recent Twitter posting from Nintendo of America that the beloved Super Nintendo Entertainment System console itself is celebrating its 30th anniversary today in the United States. Make no mistake, this is one of those crucial systems that amassed quite a following during its time on store shelves and prompted the Nintendo game developers (as well as a bunch of third-party licensee companies) to create a lot of memorable software for it. Yours truly is one of the grateful persons to witness this special milestone shoutout.

Let's not forget that this same Super Nintendo Entertainment System console itself is the one responsible for the "insider community" itself doing "research" on the backend workings of it too... and in turn, especially for the videogame music community which I'm also a part of, gave us the tools needed to still do Super Nintendo music style stuff to this day like what you're checking out here now. And of course, I'm not through with that scene yet on the SNES music style arrangement front for these operations; at this time, I am still checking my planbook for what will be shared next, especially as we're about to enter the "final four months" in a little over one week from now.

So, once again, a very happy 30th anniversary to the SNES console itself and here's hoping for more milestone shoutouts like this for the system. I'm out for now, everyone.

Still Alive on the Backend; Here's Where Things Stand So Far

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 - 05:56 PM

Topic says all, faithful friends/followers/listeners of these beloved music operations; but please keep in prayer for me because outside of this place, the "real life adversarial forces" have been hitting me with depression attacks/roadblocks like you wouldn't believe. But I've been fighting them all both outside these operations as well as within because I'm more than determined to get back into that Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove itself before this 2021 year itself is in the history books entirely.

Case in point to let you know I'm not lying: take a look at the recent update on our "Music Arrangements Progress Page". Nope, you're not dreaming; if all things go according to plan and I get a much clearer head as the month progress, you may be seeing announcements from me in regards to at least two or three new game pages going up for this section of our "home base website". Here's a hint: one of those upcoming game pages targets music for a certain game installment that was released for the Nintendo Switch console systems a few months back. And music arrangement procedure wise on the progress end, it's been slowly going welll; that said, I've yet to find more candidates in hopes I can add to the "starter set" for the upcoming game page there. As always, there's still no ETA on when I'll finalize this stuff for sharing with you all, but I will definitely let you know when we're closing in on that point to clear said backlog.

In the meantime, I'm still rechecking this same page (as well as my planbook) to decide which upcoming song covers I've been working on to snag the opportunities to get done and bring the queue number down (because at the date and time of this posting, there are now 21 song targets currently in the said queue). It feels like a repeat of history (because this kind of thing happened when COVID-19 literally messed with everyone's plans last year), but I'm more than certain that I'll find a way to get through this again and get this backlog down to near zero.

Meanwhile, as I have stated in previous blog entries, I'm still waiting to hear from all of you in regards to what possible song targets do you think I should consider for upcoming Super Nintendo song style covers (but remember, it's not to be treated as a "request" method). As stated in the current floated announcement on this site, you're able to see about going to the "Song Suggestions Form Page" and let me know which songs in question you hope I'll see about doing.

Until then, I definitely appreciate your heartfelt patience at this time; as always, if you have any further questions after reading this blog entry, please don't hesitate to contact me via main email; also, remember our other "social media portals" to get in touch with me via TwitterDiscordSoundcloud, and IRC (via EsperNet). Take care until next time, and continue to stay safe and definitely hydrated during these hot and challenging summer months. I'm gone for now.

August 2021 Greetings: Still Sorting Out Backend Plans; Hoping To Return To The "Music Arrangement Groove" Very Soon

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, August 2, 2021 - 09:59 PM

Title says all, everyone - we have now officially started the month of August! Well, it actually began yesterday, but it fell on a weekend and I only snagged the chance to do this formal monthly greetings post tonight.

Here's where things stand right now: I'm still currently sorting things out on the backend of these music operations and examining my music arrangement covers "target list". The only thing that stands in my way at this time: yep, you've got it, the "real life situations". In fact, as I'm writing this, I'm having to deal with getting ready with two things that I have to deal with before I proceed further in clearing my music arrangement backlog: a doctor's appointment scheduled for the middle of this week as well as meeting with someone afterwards to deal with the application process for a possible "job candidate". Keeping fingers crossed that there will be some breakthroughs here.

That all said, I'm still hoping when all these roadblocks are out of the way and my mind is cleared up to a much better level, I can see about which songs to focus on making additional progress on because I know that you all are wondering when new Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers will be coming as we slowly count down the remaining months of this year. Remember that you can view this page to see where things stand in regards to upcoming covers that I've been working on.

Also, once again, repeating an excerpt of what I've wrote in this previous post: I'm still waiting to hear from many of you faithful friends/followers in regards to which songs you hope I'll do Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers of related to the games of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (mainly in regards to the "Bowser's Fury" side of the game) as well as the recently released Mario Golf: Super Rush installment. For more details, made sure to read the first portion of this article; then, submit your "song candidate suggestions" in regards to one or both of these aformentioned game installments via this form here.

That's all for now regarding this "formal monthly greetings" post entry; as always, thanks in advance for your help in the process of keeping this operation going as we forge ahead during this new month of August. As always, make sure that you have this site itself bookmarked so you don't miss any new happenings from yours truly (along with submitting your follwer/join requests via Twitter and/or Discord, as well as even joining us via IRC via EsperNet). Take care until I see you all again next posting; I'm gone for now.
