April 2020 Greetings: Slowed Down Because of "Coronavirus", But Not OutPosted by Merit Celaire on Friday, April 3, 2020 - 11:44 PMKeeping this monthly greetings very short to let all you faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations know that I'm still alive; however, as you all are already aware, the "coronavirus pandemic crisis" has been plauging all angles of our lives as we speak, and yours truly hasn't been immune to this either. More specifically, on the backend, it's been slowing my music arrangement procedure progress to a near standstill, and even as I write this, I'm still trying to find time in my personal schedule to get back at it so I can clear an ever increasing backlog (as shown on this page, which now include two upcoming game pages once their first batches of music arrangement files get posted here). I would be lying if I said that I wasn't immune to what has been going around in the news as of late regarding the matter; far from it. Thank heavens that I'm still hanging in there on the physical front, but all this news and our having to "proceed with extreme caution" so we don't catch that disease itself is taking a literal toll on my mental groove too. But with God as my witness, I've been fighting this enemy hard; that said, it's been slowing my music operation's progress plans to a very slow crawl. Note that this does not mean that I'm closing up shop on this thing; the formal "10th anniversary statement" will still be worked on and I also hope to find chances to work on my music arrangement target backlog itself on the backend while still keeping on top of any new developments regarding if any possible breakthroughs have been met to get this "coronavirus threat" quelled completely. Once again, this is a very trying time for all of us, and I hope that all of you faithful friends/viewers/listeners of these music operations are staying safe and heeding the advice of medical experts to help quash this horrifying pandemic amongst us right now. No Comments | Social Media Portals | Print this Post Roadmap for the Next Two Weeks Due To The "COVID-19 Pandemic Threat"Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, March 14, 2020 - 09:48 PMAs you all are undoubtedly aware, we are currently in the midst of a "pandemic threat" under the name of COVID-19 (also known as the "Coronavirus"). This has been literally impacting the way that we all have been going throughout our daily routines, including having to "use extreme caution" to keep ourselves in good health and avoid any scenarios that would cause us to get sick with the said virus as well. Yours truly has been going through this same kind of routine as well since earlier today outside of these operations (after posting this update earlier today), and if my assumptions are not wrong, we might have to deal with this aforementioned threat for at least two weeks. I would advise all you faithful followers/listeners of these beloved music operations to stay on top of any new developments by checking out this page from the NBC News website, along with following all recommendations from health experts (including washing/sanitizing of hands, cleaning frequently used surfaces in a timely manner, staying home if you're undoubtedly sick, and so forth). We'll get through this together, of course, but we need to make sure that we don't fall victim to this threat as well. Let's all stay safe in these trying times. No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post "Mario Kart Arcade GP DX": Two New Arrangements In Honor Of "Mario Day"Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, March 14, 2020 - 09:47 AM![]() The new music arrangement additions in question are the following: * Tropical Coast (using the SNES music instrument set from Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge) * Fusion Kart (using the SNES music instrument set from The Adventures of Batman & Robin, developed/published by Konami) Additionally, the "Music Arrangement File Statistics" document has been updated as a result. And it looks like so far this year, certain Mario Kart installments have been working their way up; in this case, the Mario Kart Arcade GP DX installment made a slight jump to the 16th spot with a total of 8 files available (previously, it was tied for the 18th spot with Mario Tennis Aces). As for the featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets involved after this posting, Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge still continues its domination at #1; however, thanks to the addition of my cover of the "Fusion Kart" music using the instrument set done for Konami's The Adventures of Batman & Robin, that game in question also took a short leap from a tie in the 13th rank (previously with Konami's Animaniacs SNES game) to a tie in the 11th rank (now with Konami's Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge). And rumor has it that this same set may be on standby for another upcoming SNES music style arrangement down the road; but it's obviously not going to involve targeting another song from Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, however. You'll have to wait and see what song in question it could be when the time comes later on down the road. That's all that I have to share with you all for now regarding these latest music arrangement additions for these operations; as always, if you have any issues with the aforementioned music files above, please do not hesitate to send me an email with your concerns. Thanks in advance, all, and take care for now. No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post
