Preparing For New Music Arrangement Content in the Next Few Weeks

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 9, 2020 - 03:08 PM

As of the date and time of this blog entry posting, everyone, I'm currently reviewing the status of our "Music Arrangement Progress Page" and making plans on where to focus as I attempt to bring the "backlog number" down during the course of these next few weeks in November via the "finalization process" of files that have been "on standby" since earlier in the year (which was only made more challenging when the COVID-19 pandemic got in the way).

It should be noted that I did not say that I'm dealing with getting all of the backlog dealt with; however, I am aiming in seeing about bringing the majority of said backlog down... especially in regards to upcoming music arrangement file content that is also going to result in new featured game pages being added to this section of our site. Hopefully we can see about getting the first half of said majority posted before the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays this month, and the second half of said majority before the Christmas holidays next month.

Of course, things are subject to change depending on my overall schedule both for these operations and outside of it. But I'm determined to get this done and slowly make our much needed comeback on the music arrangement content material before this COVID-19 pandemic mess. Keep it bookmarked on the front page for any new activity from yours truly here, and until next time, please continue to stay safe out there for yourselves and those around you. See you all later.

Still Looking For Composer Info Related To "Mario Kart Tour"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 - 04:51 PM

Just a quick reminder to everyone that at this time, we are still on the search to find confirmed information in regards to who are the original composers for the musical score of Mario Kart Tour. Ever since we've started this page housing the Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I've done so far covering said score, it has shown a "TBA" besides the "Original Composers" area (which is the same thing said on this page).

Once again, I'm still going through my sources hoping to find any breakthroughs that'll have that composer information we need to update the respective pages accordingly; however, if you've run into any hard evidence on your end that I should know about, please don't hesitate to send me an email inquiry as soon as possible so I can look into the lead further. Thanks in advance for your help on this matter, everyone; I'm out.

November 2020 Greetings: The "Final Two Months" - It's "Holidays Go Time!"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, November 2, 2020 - 04:09 PM

All right, awesome people - as you can already tell from this blog entry's title, we have now officially started the "final two months" of what has been known to be a very turbulent year on all fronts. And as you already know, this has also been testing yours truly hard both personally and these beloved music operations as a whole. But if all goes according to plan on the backend by the grace and will of God, I can finally see about starting to bring down this huge backlog during said "final two months". Yep, this is the same period when two major holiday preparations are getting into high gear: the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. And yours truly is ready for both holidays to arrive, even though we all may have to adjust thanks to this COVID-19 pandemic still hovering over our heads. In short, as the title states, it's "holidays go time"!

So here's what's being planned: during the course of this first week there aren't going to be any new music arrangement postings for these operations because I have other important obligations that I need to deal with outside of here (including my "Election Day" voter obligations during the course of tomorrow; remember, if you are viewing us in the United States area and have met the qualifications to make your voice be heard at the polls, please make sure that you definitely play your part in this process! This is one of the most important elections in the history of this beloved country and our lifetimes, so we only have ourselves to blame if we don't fulfill our duty tomorrow.).

But come next week from the date of this posting, I'll be rechecking this page (and what I've got on my personal backend) regarding what we can take care of between now and the end of this year to bring this huge new music arrangement "backlog number" down that was caused because of COVID-19 wreaking havoc on everyone's plans. As always, I'll keep you faithful folks posted on any new developments on this effort as they occur.

Until then, I have to end this here and step out for now. All of you have a fantastic November, continue to stay safe, and let's all hope for the best during the course of these "last two months". I'm out.

"Community Portal" Reminders As We Prepare For November

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, October 30, 2020 - 05:18 PM

All right, friends, as we prepare to put October in the history books for this year and prepare for the "final two months" (which I always get excited for, despite the COVID-19 pandemic still trying to mess things up), this is a very good time to remind all of you faithful friends/followers/listeners of these beloved Super Nintendo music style operations handled by yours truly that we're still in need of new folks to join our follower communities if you haven't had the chance to do so already. And not a moment to soon beecause it looks like if all goes to plan, we might be in a position to start attempting to finally clear this massive backlog that's been staring me in the face ever since COVID-19 slowed everything down for these music operations. Keeping fingers crossed that during the course of November itself, we'll see a lot of new music arrangement file posting announcements, so stay tuned on that front.

As always, there are many ways you can stay informed when new music arrangements from yours truly get posted. The only "community portals" that at this time still need manual approval before your granted access entirely is our Twitter (which can be checked out by going here) and our server on Discord (which you're able to apply for a temporary invite link by going here and filling out said form). Remember that as I have already stated, new applicants have to get manually approved; any new applications that are received during the Saturday/Sunday timeframes will be dealt with during the course of Monday. Applications that are received during the course of major holidays will be dealt with during the following work day.

Finally, if you still have an IRC client and have a user name on the EsperNet network, please don't forget to see about joining us here on our music operation's IRC channel as well. Although it's still small in number/activity at this time, I'm still optimistic that there are many other passionate Super Nintendo music style fans who are also followers of Nintendo's Super Mario video game series as a whole. We're also trying our best to get those that are following us on our SoundCloud profile to see about joining us here as well because they're missing out on what else we have to offer besides what is featured on SoundCloud.

On a side note, I am still aware about the "Forum Portal" situation that is still very "dormant" since earlier this year; I'm very determined to finally snag the time to get the "setup" done, but that's another post for another time. But for now, I have to end this post itself here. Thanks again in advance for everyone's support for these beloved operations and our mission to still keep the Super Nintendo music style stuff alive in any way we can. See you all later, have a fantastic weekend, and be on the lookout for a new post from me when we officially start November next week. I'm gone.
