"Mario Kart Tour": New Twitter Poll Needing Your Votes Regarding An Upcoming Arrangement of "N64 Royal Raceway"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 - 07:03 PM

Here's the situation, friends: earlier today for the Mario Kart Tour mobile app installment, the newest "tour period" just got underway during the course of June 17, 2020 - June 30, 2020 - focused on our lead Mario female, Princess Peach herself. And they call it: the Peach Tour. The related announcement video showcasing what to expect can be checked out here.

But getting to the main point of this post: I am currently thinking of a Super Nintendo music style arrangement of the "featured course" of this tour (which is N64 Royal Raceway; the course presentation itself is based off the Mario Kart 8 iteration of this "retro course"). However, this is where you all come into play, and this is if you have a Twitter account and are a confirmed follower of us at this profile: I have recently posted this poll to get input from you all regarding how I should approach doing my "arrangement process" of the featured music for that course... should I target the Mario Kart 8 iteration of the course music, stick with trying to cover the music from the phone app iteration... or possibly do both? I kind of have an idea, but before I make any final decisions on this case, I want to know where all of you stand here. Any legitimate votes/responses regarding this poll itself would be greatly appreciated. But take note that this poll itself on Twitter will close in one week from today, so make sure you've placed in your votes before then.

Once again, if you have a Twitter account itself but haven't followed us there yet, please do so by going to this page and submitting a follower request. Only approved followers are able to see Twitter postings from me under this said account including what I have announced above; any new follower requests that I receive should be approved within the course of 24 - 48 hours if certain conditions are met after checking out the account(s) that are attempting to follow us. Your understanding is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance to all other existing approved followers for your input on this poll in question. I'm out for now.

Quick Reminder of our "Social Media Portals" During These Summer Months

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, June 13, 2020 - 08:03 PM

All right, everyone, despite this horrific "coronavirus pandemic" messing every single one of us up (as well as on the music operation's "backend groove" here) as we officially get through this "summer months period", I still wanted to quickly snag this opportunity to remind you faithful friends/followers about our existing "social media portals" that are still patiently waiting for you to be a part of.

Don't forget that if you do plan to see about following yours truly on both the Discord Portal and the Twitter Portal related to these music operations, your join requests are still subject to being screened for approval in order to curb abuse at those two areas. For access to our Discord server, you're able to submit your request after filling out this form, and to join our "follower base" on Twitter, you're able to go to this page and submit a follower request there. Please be aware that Discord server join requests/Twitter follower requests received will be process during the course of Monday - Friday (barring any major holidays within the said week).

For those of you who do have an account on SoundCloud, don't forget that you're able to follow yours truly there by going to this page. Hopefully as the weeks forge ahead and I find a breakthrough to clear this ever increasing music arrangement target backlog that's staring me in the face right now, I can post more "personal favorites" to share with you all.

Finally, although it looks like interest is slowly dying in regards to the IRC interactive process of things, our channel on EsperNet still exists. You're able to check it out by going here.

For all angles listed above, the bottom line is that we're still in need to build up our "follower bases" regardless of any platform that you're using to get in touch with me (and others) regarding these beloved music operations. And to those who are already following us in general - if you know of any other legitimate Super Mario video game series fans who are also curious about listening to modern tunes done in the Super Nintendo music arrangement style, please make sure to bring them here. I'm still hoping to finally get this site's "Forum Portal" taken care of so we can get that back in action as well before the summer months are up. Stay tuned.

Until next time, everyone please continue to stay safe and hydrated. I'm out.

June 2020 Greetings: The "Summer Months Period" Begins, But Not What We Were Hoping For

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, June 1, 2020 - 09:26 AM

All right, friends; it's time for all of us to brace ourselves and officially begin our "summer months period" for these beloved music operations!

Although I'm excited and grateful that we've reached this special period of the 2020 year, I'd be lying if I said that I'm back to "full normalcy" yet; far from it. Which also explains this blog entry's title because unlike the past few years, this "coronavirus pandemic" having an entire grip all over the world has still been forcing all of us to change our respective schedules/routines.

On the music operation side, especially on the backend - I've still been juggling my schedules in trying to find time to make progress on my music style arrangement targets - the only challenge has been trying to find the needed breakthroughs for finalizing my stuff to share with you in the weeks and months to come. Case in point, as you can tell from our Music Arrangement Progress Page, my backlog has been steadliy increasing; and recently, it has been involving more songs for our upcoming page for Mario Sports Superstars. Additionally, I've been work on more music arrangement stuff targeting the Mario Tennis Open score. Add in the fact of many other songs just waiting to be worked on, finalized and out the door as I am battling this horrifying pandemic like the rest of you, and this has already started to become one very unusual start to the "summer months period".

But I'm still optimistic that we'll get through this hurdle. Once again, if you haven't already, please make sure to read this article that I wrote almost one to two months ago regarding the state of these music operations as a whole ever since this "coronavirus pandemic" got officially declared since mid-March. As always, I'll keep you faithful followers/listeners posted on any new breakthroughs as they happen. Until then, all of you stay strong and let's get through these "summer months" together. I'm out for now.

Quick PSA: Make Sure Your Web Browsers Are "Current" and "Compatible"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, May 23, 2020 - 08:50 PM

Although this does not apply to the navigation of our "home base website" itself here, I have received confirmation from the backend regarding "partner websites" (including our file hosting account with MEGA) that now is the time to make sure that any browser which you are using is "current" and "compatible" with the standards of website handling procedures today. For example, and I believe it is now safe to say this: if you're currently viewing our site (or any other website related to here) using the Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 browser, chances are that you're going to run into some error messages saying that the said browser is deemed "outdated" and an upgrade is needed as soon as possible for the best website browsing experience possible.

At this time, the recommended browsers to use not just for this place, but for website browsing as a whole include: Google Chrome (highly recommended), Mozilla FirefoxApple Safari, or Opera. I am aware about the "Microsoft Edge" browser as well, but I haven't run into any confirmations about if the majority of today's websites are "compatible" with that browser, although it's supposed to be the successor to the "Internet Explorer" browser itself.

The bottom line is this: any web browser out there that isn't matching the "standards" of navigating today's websites, especially in the terms of the "loading/compability process" is considered to be pretty much "dead" at this point. So once again, please do yourself (and your computer) a favor and check to see if you do have one of the above mentioned browsers installed to continue browsing not just this site, but any other "major site" outside of here for the best navigation results.

Thanks in advance for your time and reading this PSA itself, everyone; I'll see you folks next time around. Until then, take care.
