HEADS-UP: Possible Site Subdomain Change Coming Within The Next Few Days

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 - 10:37 PM

Heads-up, everyone - I've just received word from our site hosting adminstrators at VimlyHost that due to recent events on their end, the subdomain that we're currently using for this site is going to have to be changed within the next few days.

At this time, I just replied to an inquiry that was sent to our correspondence from them since a few hours ago to get more information about any additional actions that we might need to take. I'm hoping to get an answer from them during the course of tomorrow; will keep you all posted on any new developments as they occur; stay tuned.

"Music Arrangements Outlook Article (Nintendo Direct - 9/13/'18)" Now Posted

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, September 21, 2018 - 12:40 PM

It's been a long time coming since the Nintendo Direct posting that happened a week ago, everyone; but better late than never, right? That's right, friends, our newest "Music Arrangements Outlook Article" has now been posted targeting the Mario videogame installments that were featured in last week's Nintendo Direct presentation (if you haven't checked out that presentation itself out yet, see this video here). So which installments that were shown have gotten their music arrangement outlook "priority statuses" changed, stayed the same, or have gotten the "pass"? You can check out my verdicts on them so far by going here.

As always, please don't hesitate to send me an email, contact me on IRC, send me a PM on the forums, or contact me at our Discord server if you have any further questions after reading this newest article itself. I'm out, everyone; see you all later.

"Music Arrangements Outlook Article (Nintendo Direct Edition (9/13/'18))" Still Being Worked On

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 - 07:19 PM

Hello there, everyone; just to get everyone up to speed in regards to what's been going on regarding the music operation's activity as of late.

It's been almost one week since the recent Nintendo Direct got posted (in case you haven't checked it out yet, make sure to do so here). I haven't forgotten about doing my obligatory "Music Arrangements Outlook Article" after major announcement presentations like this, but recently, other "real life" and outside obligations have been consistently getting in my as of late. Not only that, but I'm still slowly sorting through press media that got posted after the Nintendo Direct presentation itself so I can make my final outlook judgements regarding certain Mario game installments (main and branched) that were featured in the video.

I will state that we've got some interesting candidates, though; but once again, I have to check through all available media to determine if there are any possible Super Nintendo music style arrangement candidates down the horizon. I will also say that we may have run into additional clues about the "atmosphere" for the Super Mario series itself overall is still... changing... as we speak, but more on that another time.

For now, I have to end this here and get some much needed rest for the days ahead. As always, keep it tuned to this front page, as well as our social media portals on Twitter, IRC, and even our Discord for when the newest "Music Arrangements Outlook Article" gets posted, hopefully before the start of this weekend. Stay tuned, everyone; I'm out.

"Super Mario Odyssey": 1 Music File Update; Please Replace Previous Version A.S.A.P.

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, September 13, 2018 - 09:14 PM

Need to get this out of the way before I focus on doing my "usual routine" after viewing said Nintendo Direct that just got posted a few hours ago earlier this evening.

Here's the case: almost one week ago, I posted two new Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting the two vocal songs from Super Mario Odyssey. However, it's come to my attention on the backend that one of the files in question (specifically the one arrangement targeting the "Break Free (Lead the Way)" song) needed a few slight "corrections" on the tracker source file itself.

I have managed to see about getting the matter resolved as well as get the file itself finalized for the modification. If you have the previous version of my Super Nintendo music styled arrangement of this said song, I would advise and urge you to delete that immediately, and replace it with this new version here which I just uploaded just a short time ago.

Thanks in advance for your understanding of this situation, and I do apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you. As always, if you run into any further problems with these files themselves that require my assistance in looking into further, please don't hesitate to send me an email about it, contact me on the forums, or let me know of the matter via IRC or Discord. I'm out for now.
