"Mario Kart Arcade GP DX": Newest Batch of Arrangements Have Arrived!

Okay, friends; if you all can recall from a few months back... yours truly implemented this page for these operations to house Super Nintendo music style arrangements targeting songs heard from the racing arcade game installment known under the name of Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. One of those songs was posted in which I was doing "the process" during my "recovery period" at my friend's apartment (the song in question is the music heard for Peach Castle; if you haven't checked out my SNES music style arrangement of it already, you can do so here).

Fast forward to today, and I have at last taken care of the other song that I had laid the "foundation" to earlier on in this year tracker process wise for my Super Nintendo music style arrangement of it, but haven't had the chance to get other aspects of the song in there... until recently. The said song in question: Splash Circuit, which is beyond addictive to listen to generally speaking. My Super Nintendo music style arrangement of the song (using the instrument set of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge) can be checked out here. (I also recommend listening to the original tune itself from the arcade game installment; it's that good as well.)

But my Super Nintendo music style arrangement for MKAGPDX's Splash Circuit song isn't the only thing that has gotten posted for our operations today. Three other songs have gotten the arrangement treatment from me as well and are ready for you to check out; they are the following:

* Kingdom Way (using the instrument set of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge)
* Omatsuri Circuit (using the instrument set of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge)
* Aerial Road (using the instrument set of Bugs Bunny: Rabbit Rampage)

That's all for now; could there be more targets planned in relation to this special arcade racing game installment? God only knows on that front. Your Help Needed To Choose A New "Tribute Arrangement"! (Honoring the Late Aretha Franklin)

All right, everyone - I need your help to choose my next Super Nintendo music style arrangement tribute A.S.A.P.!

As you all should be aware right about now, we have received the sad news that music legend Aretha Franklin (also known as the "Queen of Soul") passed away this morning and went to be with the Lord at the age of 76 (1942 - 2018). The complete news story itself about Franklin's passing can be read here.

The reason I post this tonight is because yours truly is trying to see about what musical score from a Super Mario (main and branched) installment I can choose to do a new Super Nintendo music style arrangement of that will also pay tribute to Aretha's Franklin's outstanding legacy that she leaves behind tonight. You should recall that I've done stuff like this before: one to pay tribute to the late Robin Williams, and another done of the 15th year memoriam regarding the horrific and tragic terrorist attacks that occured in New York and Washington, D. C.

The recent news of Aretha Franklin's passing qualifies for me to do a tribute arrangement for our music operations, but once again, I need your help in choosing what song from a modern Super Mario (main and/or branched) game I should go after to do the process. However, the criteria that must be followed on all fronts is the following:

(1) The song that is chosen must be from a modern Super Mario installment (either main or branched) - that means anything from games done for the Wii, WiiU, 3DS, and Switch qualify for choosing.

(2) The song that is to be chosen can not be from any existing Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I have done for these operations so far. In other words, any songs that I have covered from this list do not qualify.

(3) Try to suggest to me possible song candidates that may match the song stylings of the works that Aretha Franklin has performed throughout her outstanding music career; those would make the best possible candidates that I am looking for in this tribute attempt.

Send me your suggestions via these methods as soon as possible, please, so I can investigate each candidate further before I make any final decisions.

Remaining Formal "Anniversary Statements" Back Online

Earlier this afternoon, I snagged the chance at my house while working on new Super Nintendo music style arrangements on the backend to take a short break and see about getting the remaining formal "anniversary statements" back online for the current iteration of this home base website. You may recall that from earlier this year, I managed to see about restoring the anniversary statement that I wrote for during the 2017 year (which can be read here), as well as the one that I wrote for this year (which can be read here).

Here's the thing: based on the previous backup that I had from earlier last year, I wasn't a bit... consistent... back then at doing formal "anniversary statements" until the 2017 year itself came around; that's when it without a doubt became an annual tradition for us to share the state of our operations as we reach the birthmonth of when these music operations of mine got into action. The years which I technically did formal anniversary statements before the 2017 - 2018 years were during the course of 2013 (3rd anniversary) and 2015 (fifth anniversary).

Your Help Still Needed In Spreading The Word About Us!

Hello there to all you faithful friends and followers of these music operations; I've been very busy on the backend taking care of a lot of things inside and outside of this endeavor on the backend (including trying to get some Super Nintendo music style arrangements in the works done so I can get them posted to share with you during the course of this month; detailed targets are still under lock and key, but you're going to love what I've been working on in the past one to two months).

But that doesn't mean that your assistance isn't needed, beceause believe me, it is. The "summer months period" is about to wind down, we're going to be closing in on the fall season in almost one to two months from now, and we need to see about trying our best to increase the "interest/supporter base" of these endeavors that I'm doing big time. I'm currently investigating one or two areas to see if I can get a green light on those candidates; however, if any of you folks have any ideas in terms of any other ways I can see about continuing to promote our "Mario Music SNES Arrangement Gallery" operations, please don't hesitate to send me an email, contact me on the forums via private message (if you have a vaild and active account with us there), visiting our IRC channel, or even getting in touch with me via our Discord Portal or Twitter.
