Quick News Breifing Regarding Our Music Operation's SoundCloud Account

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, August 3, 2018 - 08:26 PM

Hey, what's happening, friends? Yours truly has been busy on the music operation's backend trying to get back in the "arrangement groove" of things, and it's been progressing slowly but surely. Hopefully as the weeks forge ahead, I'll be able to see about getting some new Super Nintendo music style arrangement stuff posted for you folks to check out which involves songs that have been targeted from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Tennis Aces, and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX.

But earlier today, and to take a short break and deal with other music operations business on the backend, I managed to see about doing a little bit of "account maintenance" and catch up on some correspodence that we might have received regarding our SoundCloud Portal.

The profile page of our music operation's account with SoundCloud, still active many years later.

As you can see in the above image, this is the profile page for our music operation's SoundCloud account which I have been using to post "personal favorites" of Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I've done over the years (this is also used as a tool to help promote our music operations here in the hopes those same visitors come to our site to check out more stuff and join our forum community as well). As you can tell, the last "personal favorites" that I have posted there have been my SNES music style arrangements of the two "versions" for "Metro Kingdon - New Donk City" from the Super Mario Odyssey game which you're able to see about checking out from this page. Right now, I'm at a roadblock in terms of trying to post new "personal favorites" after this because the account that we have with SoundCloud is under the "free status" and it only has three minutes of timespace remaining (yeah, I don't know why the SoundCloud administration does things like this). Hopefully, I can find a breakthrough and possibly get some finances together to get the account upgraded to a Pro status so additional timespace can get added. Keep fingers crossed on me regarding that front, everyone; I know for a fact that this is desperately needed at this time because I know as when I get new stuff posted for these operations as the weeks and months forge ahead, I'll be running into some new "personal favorites" as well to post on that said SoundCloud account itself that we have.

The "Notifications" page for our account, which shows you folks are there are still listening to our stuff on SoundCloud, and we thank you for it.

However, that doesn't mean that you folks that have been visiting our profile page on SoundCloud haven't been taking notice. At this time, over at that place, we currently have 55 tracked that have been posted. And we are still receiving likes for tracks that have been showcased there since many years ago (including, but not limited to my arrangements of the "staff credits" music for New Super Mario Bros. Wii, as well as the "final Bowser fight" music for Super Mario Galaxy 2)! That shows that you folks on the SoundCloud are liking what I have to share with you, and I honestly appreciate you all for your support there.

Another thing that I have to address: yes, I am aware about specified URLs on our song descriptions which pointed to our previous server hosts. As you already are aware, those said links have been invalid for quite a while now. Granted, I will be posted said current URL on new "personal favorites" when they get posted on our SoundCloud account; in the meantime, the only thing that we made sure to keep up to date are the URL links on our SoundCloud profile page. Modifications have been made accordingly, and we have even added a link for you folks over there to join us at our "Discord Portal" as well. But regardless, if you all run into any other problems besides what has been addressed above this paragraph, please do not hesitate to contact me about the matter.

That's it for now from me regarding our happenings with our SoundCloud account, everyone; take care and stay positive for this coming weekend until I see you all again! I'm out for now.

August 2018 Greetings: Last Month Was Crazy, But What About This Month To Come...?

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 - 07:48 AM

So last month has been a very busy one for yours truly on the backend thanks to our getting our forums back in action, adding a Discord for these operations, plus the implementaion of our Blog Entry Aritcle Listings and Music Arrangements Progress Page. Not to mention that certain events from late June and the previous month itself that had us take action to get this entire site moved onto the current hosting provider that we have now. Oh yeah, and our still trying to add new "general content" for this home base website itself which included our talking about the featured Super Nintendo music instrument set for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The one question for this brand new month of August is this: can the momentum keep going? My only answer to that: God only knows, because I still have stuff under lock and key on the backend. But what I can state is that on the music arrangement procedure here backend wise, it's been beyond insane (in a good way, of course). Once again, as shown on this page, now I've been slowly getting back in the groove full force working on a bunch of new Super Nintendo music style arrangement stuff targeting stuff from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Super Mario Odyssey, and a few others including Mario Tennis Aces (yes, I told you all I'm targeting music from this game too!). Rumor has it in the case of Super Mario Odyssey that I've been targeting two songs that are considered to be "critical" for the game's score overall; progress on them has been going great. Hopefully, I can see about sharing thtem with you all later on in this month or during the course of September.

There's also another rumor that one more "social media portal" may be in the preparation phase during the course of this month as well. No confirmation on that yet, but I am investigating that possibility.

Long story short, it looks like we're in for another active month for August, and I'm looking forward to what's to come not only for myself but for you faithful listeners/followers as well. Here's hoping you'll be excited just as much as I am; for now, take care and stay positive; also, once again, don't forget to see about joining us on the forums that we got back in action not too long ago. Thanks, all; I'm out!

Site/Forum Suggestions Still Open for the Rest of 2018 - Your Input Needed!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, July 28, 2018 - 11:12 PM

Hi there, everyone; this posting is just to remind you all that I am still open to suggestions regarding our music operations for the rest of 2018 now that things are slowly starting to get back to normal for us after all the backend happenings that have occured during the course of this month (even though I'm also now working on bringing down my "music arrangement targets backlog"; if you saw the planbook that I have on the backend, the list is that huge. Seriously. And I blame major "real life matters" since last year for it.).

But back to the focus: of course, you're able to submit your suggestions to me via our email contact form for this place. Also, since our "Forum Portal" section of our site recently opened back up a few days ago, our "Site/Forum Suggestions Topic for 2018" has made a return as well over there; once again, please snag the chance to see about creating your forum account and letting me know on that thread about any possible ideas that you might have which I could investigate further into as the months forge ahead for the rest of this year.

Regardless of whatever option you choose, I do take the time to read every legitimate suggestion received; however, there is no guarantee that all suggestions will be implement after research has been done. However, they all will still give me clues into what routes I need to consider as we continue our efforts for these music operations as a whole.

Thanks in advance for your support, everyone; have a great rest of your weekend, and take care for now.

"Music Arrangements Anticipation Topics" Make A Return

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, July 27, 2018 - 10:45 PM

Now that we got our site's "Forum Portal" back in action again after almost one to two months of maintenance happenings on the backend (including the recent server move), that means we can get back to getting our "Music Arrangements Anticipation Topics" active once more starting tonight.

As you can recall, the most recent ones that were posted on the respective board on the forums were targeting the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Super Mario Odyssey game installments. Of course, this shouldn't go without saying and should already be obvious that I'm not through with doing Super Nintendo music style arrangements involving the score of these aformentioned games yet. More targets are being planned in the weeks/months ahead.

Once again, in the meantime, this doesn't mean that I don't want to hear from you folks giving me input on what songs you think I should be targeting from the same two games. On the contrary, hit these two topic links below and let me know what songs from the two games you all think I should consider covering in the Super Nintendo music arrangement style:

* Music Arrangements Anticipation Topic: "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker"
* Music Arrangements Anticipation Topic: "Super Mario Odyssey"

Please keep in mind that these are not actually "request threads" as I always have an enormous backlog of stuff in my planbook involving these two games and more. But the replies that you give me on these threads will give me an idea on what songs in question between these two games are way up there on the "favorites/demands" lists in hopes I'll get the chance to do the SNES music style cover process for them in due time. Thanks for your understanding and responses to these said two aformentioned threads here in advance, and have a great weekend, everyone. I'm out.
