"Discord Portal Invite Link Request Form" Returns After A One Year "Turbulence"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, March 17, 2025 - 02:36 PM

Good afternoon, everyone and happy St. Patrick's day to you all. To start off the work week for these music operations as a whole, we are pleased to announce that after almost one and a half years of literal "turbulence" regarding my respective Discord account as a whole (which our music operation's Discord server is tied to), the form that we implemented for applications to join that said server is now back online at last.

Like before, you're able to see about submitting your request to join said server in question by going to this page. However, the criteria to join our server itself (as well as our "review procedures" for each submission from the form) will still apply. Also, don't forget that as the same application form page states, please allow the course of 24 - 48 hours after submitting the form since each request is subject to thorough review before we declare an "approval" or "denial" verdict.

If you have any further questions regarding this announcement itself today, please don't hesitate to let me know. Take care for now, all.

"Music File Statistics" Rankings Document Updated as of 3/15/2025

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, March 15, 2025 - 12:36 PM

Good Saturday afternoon, friends; I've snagged the opportunity during the course of this weekend to get our "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document up to date before the new work week itself arrives.

And as we suspected, due to the recent updates that were posted which involved our newest Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers involving songs from Mario Kart Tour, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder, both categories of said document got affected as a result. Although our changelog notes the majority of the recent activity to the aforementioned document today, the general takeaways are the following:

(1) On the "Featured Mario Game Installments" Side:
* The Mario Kart Tour installment is now tied at rank #12 (alongside New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Sports Mix, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch version)).
* Super Mario Party Jamboree has made a jump from the #32 rank to the #23 rank.
* Super Mario Bros. Wonder has made some advances from the #23 rank to be currently tied in rank #19 (alongside WarioLand: Shake It!).

(2) On the "Featured Super Nintendo Music Instrument Sets" Side:
* The Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! instrument set (Konami) is now tied usage wise at rank #3 (alongside the instrument set for The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse (Capcom/Disney).
* The Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge instrument set (Konami) is currently standing at the #9 rank.
* Both instrument sets for Castlevania: Dracula X (Konami) and SmartBall (Sony Imagesoft) currently stand tied in the #10 rank (after covers using these sets were posted targeting songs from Super Mario Bros. Wonder).
* Finally, the Super Castlevania IV instrument set (Konami) has a slight jump two ranking spots to now be tied at #17 (alongside Disney's Bonkers (Capcom) and Mega Man Soccer (Capcom)).

And it seems that even though this is the first document update for 2025, we're just getting started. Time will tell and God only knows if any new music arrangement postings will usurp both of these categories further, so stay tuned on this angle as the months progress forward.

Until then, and as always, if you have any further questions regarding this document update itself today, please don't hesitate to send an inquiry my direction and I'll see about getting back to you about it during the next work week itself. Take care for now, everyone; I'm out.

"Super Mario Bros. Wonder": Four New Music Arrangement Cover Additions for 3/14/2025

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, March 14, 2025 - 12:16 PM

Good afternoon, everyone; the time has come to at last get these four new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers posted for our operations as a whole there! As was briefly mentioned a few days ago, they're targeting more songs from the Super Mario Bros. Wonder installment; two of them called on the SmartBall instrument set to cover the "Title Screen" and "Lava Underground" theme song, and the other two called on Konami's Castlevania instrument sets (more specifically, one to cover the "Airship Courses" song using the Castlevania: Dracula X set, and the other one to cover the "Castle Bowser Courses" song using the Super Castlevania IV set).

These new additions in question can be checked out via these following links below:

New File No.
Song Title
SNES Music Arrangement Style/Featured Instrument Set
1
Title Screen
SmartBall
2
Lava Underground Theme
SmartBall
3
Airship Courses
Castlevania: Dracula X
4
Castle Bowser Courses
Super Castlevania IV

That's all for now at this time; after I finish writing this post itself, I'll be seeing about taking care of updating our "Music File Statistics Rankings Document" soon, and I'm very sure that both categories are going to be shaken up as usual. Stay tuned, and until then as always, if you have any difficulites in checking these files in question out, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible. See you all later.

"MAR10 Day" Shoutout Greetings for 2025 / New Music Arrangement File Postings Incoming

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 - 09:51 AM

Good morning, friends; many apologies for this being two days late because of real life obligation stuff still getting in my way, but as I said in the previous blog entry before this one, better late than never, right? This time around, I'm talking about the "MAR10 Day" annual marketing campaign that the Nintendo company as a whole has been doing for a few years now giving a brief shoutout to their iconic "Super Mario" franchise series that's about to hit their 40th anniversary in just a few months from now.

So here's where things stand on this "special week" music operations wise: the newest batch of Super Nintendo music styled covers are coming, and as was hinted in a previous blog entry, it's going to focus on a few more songs from Super Mario Bros. Wonder. According to our progress page, we've got four files that are on standby to get finalized and posted to this respective game page itself; our hope is that we can get this done before the end of the work week (not to mention that afterwards, we need to see about doing our first update to our Music File Statistics Rankings Document reflecting the file additions that were made since late January involving a posting that covered a Mario Kart Tour song, as well as the latest Super Mario Party Jamboree music arrangement file additions).

Long story short, the above mentioned planned updates are incoming before this week is out, so stay tuned and keep it here! Until then, see you all later.
