"Year In Review (2024)" Article Now PostedPosted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, January 4, 2025 - 02:36 PMGood Saturday afternoon, everyone; although I'm currently in the "weekend mode" routine at this time, I've snagged the opportunity to get our annual "Year In Review" article written up and posted in regards to looking back at the music arrangement cover activity that has occured during the previous 2024 year. And here's a hint: there's at least one featured Mario series' game installment to literally thank for triggering the bulk of that activity itself. No Comments | Site News/Update Entries | Print this Post January 2025 Greetings: Making Preparations for the Challenges AheadPosted by Merit Celaire on Friday, January 3, 2025 - 04:17 PMGood afternoon, friends; yours truly has finally snagged the chance at this time to write and post this formal "monthly greetings entry" for these music operations as a whole to officially start off this month and the 2025 year itself. I am still looking forward to what challenges this year will bring for these endeavors; however, although I'm still trying to get myself resituated at this time after we've finished the "New Year's holiday period", there are a few things from the backend that I need to let you know about so it doesn't look like I'm still "dormant" from the backend (and believe me, it's definitely for real). And the situations so far are these: No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post Shoutout to the Start of 2025 / Quick Correspondence RemindersPosted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 - 12:07 PM![]() Above New Year's (2025) image of the Mario cast courtesy of Nintendo's social media channels And here we are, awesome friends and faithful followers of these music operations as a whole; we are now officially starting the 2025 year itself! Giving shoutout to all of you on this day before having to step out for a bit, but making sure to let you know about two music operations related matters regarding correspondence processing. First and foremost, just like the Christmas holiday period last Wednesday, any correspondence received for my review today will be looked into during the course of tomorrow (1/2/2025). This includes all correspondence submitted from our online forms on this site including, but not limited to, the main email contact form and our two suggestion forms. We appreciate your understanding in advance on this matter since I'm still trying to get myself situated for this new year itself. Second, the formal "monthly greetings entry" is still coming and is planned to be written and posted during the course of either tomorrow or Friday. This will also give more details in terms of what's being planned for this new month itself to start of the 2025 year (along with dealing with some important "maintenance" stuff to especially prepare for the "anniversary month" for our operations that will be here sooner than we all think). Until then, I have to end this here and head out for now. Once again, all of you have an awesome New Year's holiday itself, and I'll see you folks next time around afterwards. I'm out. No Comments | Music Operation Happenings | Print this Post "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Nintendo Switch)" - Newest "Staff Credits" Arrangement AddedPosted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 - 10:47 PM![]() Believe me when I say that when I was doing the "music tracker" process of this said song cover on the backend (using the Disney's Aladdin music instrument set (developed and published by Capcom)), I had to endure nearly 2 - 3 weeks of literal heck just to get this done and trying to sound like the original song itself (of course, with a few "differences" in this song cover itself since as stated earlier, the Disney's Aladdin music instrument set to best represent the original song's "styling"). You all will see what I mean when you check said song cover up at the said file link below: ![]() As mentioned earlier, this is the latest "staff credits" song cover done by yours truly to give shoutout to one of the best songs ever composed for the Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and to help put the 2024 year itself for these music operations as a whole in the history books. However, there are still more covers to come in the following year targeting stuff from this said installment in the months to come, so definitely look forward to it. Until then, thanks once again for your patience as I was waiting for the day to get this out to shared with you (as well as the postings before this one), and here's to more Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover ventures in the 2025 year. I'm gone for now. No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post
