"Anniversary Statement for 2024" Still In The Editing Process / "Nintendo Direct" Presentation Incoming for 6/18/2024

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 - 07:29 AM

Good morning, friends; just got up to bring you faithful friends/followers of these music operations as a whole up to speed regarding two things quickly before I have to shift gears and step out in a few hours (which one of them being the biggest of the two).

First and foremost, I'm still in the "editing process" of that upcoming "anniversary statement document of 2024" discussing about the state of our music operations entirely and what we need to plan and prepare for in terms of the rest of this year. I'm hoping to get that taken care of so that we can ultimately get this posted on the site at last and cross this hurdle off my planbook's to do list.

Second, and this is the "major angle" of these two tidbits: in just a few hours from now, the Nintendo company as a whole is set to post their latest "Nintendo Direct" presentation announcing what games are currently in the works for the second half of this year. Yours truly will as always keep close tabs on this to see if any featured Super Mario installments are on the horizon (main, spinoff, and/or branched); if any are involved, I'll check that media carefully to see about posting my "music arrangement outlook verdicts" for each one like in past articles. Here's keeping fingers crossed that there'll be some good ones waiting for us when that presentation posts in about one to two hours from now.

Until then, that's it for now for the time being. Take care until next time around, awesome people, and I'll see you folks later.

Recent "Follow-Up News" Regarding Our Upcoming "Anniversary Statement Document" of 2024

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, June 13, 2024 - 05:26 PM

Good afternoon, friends; I have some good news to report on our upcoming "anniversary statement document" for 2024 - as of the date and time of this posting, I have at last managed to finish the writing process for it last night (and that was after I found the opportunity earlier this week to get that same writing process underway).

So all that remains right now is for me to do a few checks on it and do any necessary edits before we declare it final and ready for posting on the site. Our hope is that we can go through it a few more times during the course of this weekend and/or early next week itself so we can get that editing phase complete and cross this important angle off our "to-do list" from the planbook (that is, until the 2025 year itself comes around).

Once again, I really do appreciate everyone's patience and understanding about said case during this time; when the upcoming "anniversary statement document for 2024" gets posted on the site during the course of next week itself for you all to read about the "state of our music operations as a whole", you'll definitely find out why. Stay tuned.

Latest Twitter (X) Portal/Discord Portal Poll Posted (Giving Shoutout To The Follins)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, June 8, 2024 - 11:17 AM

Posted this latest poll during the course of yesterday afternoon while I was "on break" in the middle of my work obligations, but finally snagged the chance to make a formal announcement about it this morning. If you're a follower at our music operation's "Twitter (X) Portal" profile page, or are a current/active member of our respective "Discord Portal", there is currently a poll running at this time giving one more shoutout to two of our most recognized Super Nintendo music instrument sets created by the late Geoff Follin (along with his brother, Tim Follin) to create the respective musical scores for them - Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge (LJN/Software Creations) and Plok (Tradewest/Software Creations).

This poll in question is also done as our way to pay our final respects to the late Geoff Follin himself, as we have elaborated on here. It should go without saying, but we definitely need all of you faithful friends/followers to head on over to this poll posting if you have an account on Twitter (X) and are following us there and/or making your votes on the poll that I posted on the respective channel on our related "Discord Portal" server. Make sure those votes are locked in before the end of this coming Friday (6/14/2024).

I'm also hoping to get a separate article written up later on down the road in regards to listing what featured Mario game installments have been involved for these operations that used these two featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets in question (and believe me, there are a lot). We're doing our best to ensure the Follins get the heartfelt respect they deserve for these two Super Nintendo music instrument sets in question, especially during this difficult time for the family. Stay tuned.

June 2024 Greetings: Still Currently Dealing With A Lot Of "Turbulence", But Still Fighting Through It

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, June 6, 2024 - 06:02 PM

My gosh, I can't believe that this literally slipped my mind ever since we started this month of June (which also officially starts the "summer months period")! Once again, my very sincere apologies about this situation, but as this blog entry's title states, I'm fighting through this on the frontend and the backend... slowly.

Of course, the main culprit behind this has already been elaborated on via this previous post; the top priority for me this month is still to get a much clearer mind during the course of this coming weekend (and next work week itself) to get this "anniversary statement document" for 2024 written up and posted for this site before I review our situations here for these music operations as a whole and decide on the next steps to take. Once again, I do have an idea on what stuff needs to be addressed/shared on the upcoming document itself, it's just trying to see about finding that space on my schedule to get this writing process itself for it underway. I even hoped to see about starting to do it during the course of tomorrow, but I've got work obligations to deal with during that time.

As stated earlier, after I finally see about getting that document itself written up and posted, I can see about rechecking my planbook for this year's "summer months period" to see what I can attempt to take care of and clear a super nagging backlog (not to mention that I still need to see according to our "Music Arrangements Progress Page" what we need to see about taking off that backlog next!) staring at me in the face for God knows how long.

Which also brings me to this other thing to conclude this "formal monthly greetings entry" which once again addresses the "extreme amount of turbulence" that yours truly has been facing within these operations and outside of them ever since earlier this year; although I'll elaborate more on this further in our upcoming "anniversary statement document for 2024", I have no doubt deep in my conscience that especially as of late, there has been a bunch of "extreme adversarial forces" that have been relentlessly trying to "brutally wreck" this dedicated Super Mario videogame series enthusiast with a God-given musical talent in hopes to put me in "super depression mode" to virtually knock me out of existence and shut me up. If I let them win on that, I'll be letting myself down even further and these music operations that I've been maintaining for almost fifteen years will be all for nothing. But I also know that as I'll also state in the upcoming "anniversary ststement document" itself, we've run into very critical clues that the "audience environments" and "interactive community environments" have literally been changing all over the Internet, and it's gotten to the level of "great concern" for yours truly (and I believe should also be the level of concern for all videogame music enthusiasts everywhere). You'll find out what I mean when I get the anniversary statement document itself done in due time, so stay tuned.

Until then, as always, if you have any further questions in relation to what has been shared in this post itself, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me via this form so I can get back to you on it in a timely fashion. Until then, take care for now, and I'll see you awesome people next time around. I'm gone.
