"Mario Tennis Open" - Five New Music Arrangement Additions / New Featured Instrument Set Joins The Operations
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 29, 2023 - 06:36 PM
And here's the second angle of the three planned music arrangement postings to conclude the 2023 year, everyone - only that in the case of this batch targeting more songs from Mario Tennis Open for the Nintendo 3DS console, the majority of these new covers come with a new featured Super Nintendo music instrument set in tow for these operations as a whole: Space Ace (Absolute Entertainment/Empire Software/O.D.E.). I've got a feeling that some of you may be asking, "What in the heck is the game 'Space Ace'?" Hopefully, I'll elaborate further on this in a future article during the course of next month, so stay tuned on that angle.
But to the point of this post itself and the new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers featured in this announcement: there are a total of five additions for our aforementioned Mario Tennis Open page; a few months ago, I heard the musical score of the said Space Ace game done for the Super Nintendo console (as well as seen gameplay videos related to it too). The interest in doing covers using this set only grew larger for my planbook after searching for more song candidates from Mario Tennis Open to do most of them using the newly featured Space Ace set (including, but not limited to, the "Title Screen/Theme Song" and the "Galaxy Area" court theme). The only featured song cover here that didn't use the new set was the "Peach's Castle Court" theme (that's using the instrument set heard in David Crane's Amazing Tennis).
Regardless, I've had a very great time doing the music arrangement procedures on all the five new file additions targeting songs from Mario Tennis Open; you can check them all out via the links below:
And that's it for the second of three updates to conclude this final overall batch of 2023. Only one file remains to get posted, and here's a hint: it's targeting yet another song from Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Look forward to it during the course of tomorrow and if you have any further questions and/or difficulties with the above files in question, make sure to let me know. See you all later.

"Mario Sports Superstars" - One New Music Arrangement File Addition for 12/29/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, December 29, 2023 - 05:01 PM
As planned, everyone, here is the first angle of the new music arrangement file additions to start our closure for the 2023 year. This one targets the "Tennis - Champion's Cup" song heard in Mario Sports Superstars for the Nintendo 3DS console. The song itself as composed by Motoi Sakuraba caught my attention as I was looking for new song candidates a few months back. And once again, Sakuraba's composing style does not disappoint on this one.
The Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover of said song done by yours truly once again uses the featured instrument set heard from Bandai's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers game. It's been a while since this certain instrument set was called on to do new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers so I was happy to see about using this set to do the process here; I'm hoping that you'll agree with that statement after checking out said file in the link below.

As always, if you have any difficulties in accessing this file in question, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible so I can look into it in a timely manner.

Final Music Arrangement Additions for 2023 Still Incoming; What's Being Planned
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, December 28, 2023 - 05:41 PM
This was the announcement that I was hoping to have shared with you all earlier this week after the Christmas holiday break (and before I had to head out to deal with work obligations on that Tuesday morning), but ran into some unfortunate site access issues which I elaborated on in the previous post. Now that the roadblock there has been resolved, we can resume the focus on getting the final batch of upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers posted for these operations as a whole before 2023 is officially in the history books.
Here's the situation: because of the above mentioned matter, it has caused me to delay this process by 1 - 2 days. As you are all already aware from the previous posts from last week, the upcoming covers target songs from three Mario game installments: Mario Tennis Open, Mario Sports Superstars, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. What we're hoping is that during the course of tomorrow (12/29/2023), we can snag the opportunity to get the pending files focused on stuff from Mario Tennis Open and Mario Sports Superstars taken care of first. That leaves the one pending cover targeting a song from Super Mario Bros. Wonder to be posted during the course of this Saturday (12/30/2023).
Then after all those above postings have been accounted for, I'm also hoping to see about giving our "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document its final update to close out the 2023 year to ensure it's up to date for when 2024 itself arrives in just a few days from now.
Once again, I thank all of you faithful friends/followers/listeners of these music operations as a whole for being very patient with me as I still slowly recover from this roadblock that literally got in my way since two days ago. Here's hoping that the planbook execution will be in my favor for tomorrow and Saturday so we can cross this off the list before the upcoming New Year's Eve itself. Take care for now, everyone.

Site Access Downtime Experienced Between 12/26/2023 - 12/28/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, December 28, 2023 - 04:47 PM
Good afternoon, friends; if any of you were trying to access this "home base website" of these music operations as a whole between 12/26/2023 and the date of this posting, you might have run into some difficulties on the connection/loading process. Upon becoming aware of the situation, I immediately got in touch with my support contacts on the backend to get to the bottom of said matter.
It was found that the culprit was on the domain account side (with the folks at Sav) and I had to take some action on the backend there to address the problem so that the related site URL in use right now could resume access connections to this site itself.
As of the date and time of this posting, this matter has now been resolved; if you still have any further questions and/or difficulites in trying to access this site itself in general, please don't hesitate to let me know. Apologies for the inconveniences this may have caused you all for the past two to three days; take care for now.
