"Super Mario Bros. Wonder" Direct Presentation Incoming for 8/31/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 - 10:37 AM
This just in from my sources, everyone - the Nintendo company as a whole announced that a special Nintendo Direct is headed our direction later this week focusing on the upcoming Mario installment Super Mario Bros. Wonder (which is slated for release on store shevles next month; more specifically, 10/20/2023).
As always, and once again, I'll be checking through this upcoming presentation very carefully to see if the "priority status" for my music arrangement planbook might be changing since we posted a "MEDIUM PRIORITY" status from the last "Music Arrangements Outlook" article I've wrote after this installment itself was first announced back in 6/21/2023. Here's hoping for the best for said stuff that will be announced for the upcoming game itself; however, yours truly is hoping for the best definitely on the music arrangement cover planbook end since even though we currently have this in "MEDIUM PRIORITY", that still means that this game in question is in no doubt on our radar.
As for the upcoming presentation itself, it's slated to be posted this coming Thursday (8/31/2023) and can be seen here. I'll see if I can definitely do another "Music Arrangements Outlook Article" afterwards when said video goes live, so stay tuned! See you all later.

New Music Covers Incoming Targeting "Mario Kart Arcade GP 2" / "Music File Statistics Rankings Document" To Be Updated Soon
Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, August 28, 2023 - 03:01 PM
Good afternoon, friends and followers of these beloved music operations as a whole; there are two quick news tidbits that I need to share with you all as we get resituated for this new work week itself. So, here's what has been going on as of the date and time of this posting:
(1) Incoming Music Covers Targeting Songs from Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 So in case you haven't noticed from previous blog entry postings before this one (as well as taking a glimpse at our Music Arrangements Progress Page), I have been working on a few new Super Nintendo music styled covers that target songs from yet another Mario Kart arcade game installment that was done in collaboration between Bandai Namco Games and Nintendo - the same game in question is Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. Currently, I'm in the "finalization process" of the three files that finished their "tracker process" from the past two to three weeks; the hope is that like last week's file additions, we can get these new files posted prior to the end of this month. This will also result in a new game page being added to the site as well; as mentioned earlier, this will be the second "arcade game page" to be added alongside the other Mario Kart Arcade installment, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX.
(2) Update to the "Music File Statistics Rankings Document" Coming Soon I am aware that this aforementioned document has yet to get updated ever since we managed to get things rolling again last week with new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover postings. We're just holding off on it until we see about taking care of the upcoming three new covers targeting songs from Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 before we start doing document adjustments. But I can tell already that when we do get to it, we might have to brace for some "upsets" in both categories on the document. Just saying.
That's all for now, everyone; take care until I see you all next time around as this new week progresses. And don't forget to send me an email if you have any further questions about this post itself in question. See you all later.

"Mario Kart 8" - Four Music Arrangement File Additions Targeting the Theme of "Mount Wario"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, August 24, 2023 - 04:33 PM
All right, faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations as a whole - after nearly four months of "dormancy" from the new Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover end posting wise, this drought can finally be kicked to the curb. Additionally, after nearly two to three years since this game page for Mario Kart 8 got added with certain covers I did of remixes targeting two Nintendo 64 courses (more specficially, this posting in question from way back in 4/30/2021), another new batch has joined the fray... which target the overall course theme for Mount Wario!
As you all may already be aware from the Mario Kart 8 gameplay, the overall musical theme for said "Mount Wario" course is split into four sections. That's why there are four file links (which will be listed below), each targeting a certain section of the "theme" that I've managed to cover (each using the instrument set of Konami's Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!). Granted that this might still pale in comparison to the epic awesomness of the original song itself, yours truly still made sure that the said Super Nintendo music styled covers here had the "insanity" of the song itself as we're racing toward the "final stretch/finish line" of this course (especially in the case of sections 2 and 3 of said overall course).
With that all said, here are the four file links so you can check these new covers out for yourself:
That's all for now; as always, if you have any problems with accessing these new music file links in question, please don't hesitiate to let me know as soon as possible. Thanks in advance, all, and I'll see you next time around. Take care for now.

Twitter Poll: "Mario Kart Tour" - The SNES Music Cover of "Singapore Speedway", Almost One and a Half Years Later
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 - 12:03 PM
Playing catch-up on a few other things music operations related - in this case, although this newest Twitter poll was posted during the course of early yesterday evening, I've only snagged the chance to make the related announcement about it here this morning.
So, as the title for this post states, it's been a little over one and a half years since yours truly did a Super Nintendo music styled arrangement targeting the super addictive "Singapore Speedway" course theme song from Mario Kart Tour. Not to be conceited, but I believe this is one of the best covers I've done using the SNES music instrument set of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge (created by Geoff Follin/Tim Follin of Software Creations, who also are the composers of that game's musical score there).
To the chase: this poll on Twitter for all of you confirmed followers of our music operations is mainly to see where you stand regarding the featured "Singapore Speedway" song itself from Mario Kart Tour. Please make sure that you don't miss out in casting your vote and letting me know about your being about to check out the song itself in question, as well as my Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover of it.
And finally, this should go without saying, but like all other polls that have been posted under our Twitter profile, this one is set to close prior to the end of this coming Monday (8/28/2023), so ensure you don't wait until it's too late in placing your vote.
That's all for now; thanks in advance for your time and consideration on this case, and I'll see you all again later. I'm gone for now.
UPDATE #1 (8/23/2023 - 6:36 P.M., C.S.T.): Quick reminder that if you haven't checked out my Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover for "Singapore Speedway" from Mario Kart Tour yet, you're able to find the link to said file to check out by going to this page.
