Twitter Poll: "Mario Kart Tour" - The SNES Music Cover of "Singapore Speedway", Almost One and a Half Years Later
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 - 12:03 PM
Playing catch-up on a few other things music operations related - in this case, although this newest Twitter poll was posted during the course of early yesterday evening, I've only snagged the chance to make the related announcement about it here this morning.
So, as the title for this post states, it's been a little over one and a half years since yours truly did a Super Nintendo music styled arrangement targeting the super addictive "Singapore Speedway" course theme song from Mario Kart Tour. Not to be conceited, but I believe this is one of the best covers I've done using the SNES music instrument set of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge (created by Geoff Follin/Tim Follin of Software Creations, who also are the composers of that game's musical score there).
To the chase: this poll on Twitter for all of you confirmed followers of our music operations is mainly to see where you stand regarding the featured "Singapore Speedway" song itself from Mario Kart Tour. Please make sure that you don't miss out in casting your vote and letting me know about your being about to check out the song itself in question, as well as my Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover of it.
And finally, this should go without saying, but like all other polls that have been posted under our Twitter profile, this one is set to close prior to the end of this coming Monday (8/28/2023), so ensure you don't wait until it's too late in placing your vote.
That's all for now; thanks in advance for your time and consideration on this case, and I'll see you all again later. I'm gone for now.
UPDATE #1 (8/23/2023 - 6:36 P.M., C.S.T.): Quick reminder that if you haven't checked out my Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover for "Singapore Speedway" from Mario Kart Tour yet, you're able to find the link to said file to check out by going to this page.

New Music Arrangement Covers Incoming for 8/23/2023 - 8/25/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, August 21, 2023 - 04:23 PM
Good afternoon, faithul friends and followers of these beloved music operations as a whole; I am pleased to report that after months and months of literal "dormancy" since our last music file posting here on 4/24/2023, I'm dealing with the process of finalizing a total of five upcoming Super Nintendo music styled arrangement files. Details are still under lock and key in regards to the targeted song(s) in question; however, I can state that four of them target a certain featured course in Mario Kart 8 that was also separated into four "parts". The remaining one targets a certain song that's heard from the Mario Kart arcade game installment - specifically Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. I'm looking forward to getting these new additions taken care of so we can get them posted come the middle of this week at the earliest, but especially before the end of this Friday.
You'll definitely don't want to miss this when the new covers themsevles go live, so stay tuned come later on this week. Take care for now, awesome people!

"Twitter Poll": "Booster Course Pass" Content in "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 - 08:03 PM
Good evening, friends; I've still been slowly progressing on the backend to get new Super Nintendo music styled arrangements done in the hopes that I can finalize them to share with you all within the next few weeks (and especially before the "final four months" arrive at our doorsteps).
Meanwhile, I've been reviewing my planbook on the backend for the near future and as I elabored on in our formal music operations "anniversary statement" from earlier this year, there have been some talks that a few songs which have been featured in the "Booster Course Pass" additional content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe might have crossed my radar for possible covers in the future. And rumor has it that I might have to approach this stuff differently for the most part as compared to the "traditional methods" that I've been doing this process for nearly fifteen years.
To the chase: for those of you who are confirmed followers at our Twitter profile page, there is a related poll related to this subject for you to vote on, and it can be found by going here. But remember, as what was just mentioned, this poll can only be viewed if you are definite "confirmed follower". Otherwise, you'll have to head for our Twitter profile page and submit a follower request to view the poll itself and cast your vote there.
Finally, as with all other poll that we've posted on our Twitter profile page, you only have one week from the time of its posting to place your votes in; I definitely need to hear from everyone on this case to help me get an idea on the "interest factor" on these planned covers in question, so please don't miss out and wait until the last minute on this one.
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration on this very aformentioned poll; your votes on this would be greatly appreciated as the days forge ahead. Take care for now.

August 2023 Greetings: Slowing Coming Back, Where Things Stand At This Time
Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 - 04:54 PM
Good afternoon, friends; just snagged the opportunity to get this formal "monthly greetings entry" posted to let you know that yours truly is still in action on the music operations backend. It's just that as I have elaborated in the majority of blog entry posts before this one during the "summer months period", yours truly has been dealing with a whole bunch of real life attacks all over the place (which are still happening as we speak!) in hopes that my music arrangers groove will literally grind to a screeching halt. But with God as my witness, I literally beg to differ.
However, as this entry's title states, it's still been a "slow recovery process" to speak even though I am more than well aware (as many of you here are as well) that we haven't managed to see about making any all-new Super Nintendo music style arrangement postings here ever since nearly three to months ago. But just hold on a little while longer, awesome people - if all goes to plan and I don't run into any hurdles during the next few weeks (and especially before the "final four months" period arrives next month), we'll be able to turn the corner on this "music arrangement drought".
Case in point: take a look at the "Music Arrangements Progress Page" as of the date and time of this posting. As always, details are still under lock and key in regards to what future songs are being covered in the beloved Super Nintendo music arrangement style; however, it looks like according to my planbook, there are going to be some new covers incoming once again targeting stuff from Mario Kart 8 - here's a hint: it's going to once again a certain "batch" of songs from a certain course in the game. You'll have to stay tuned find out what those "batch" of songs are when I get through the process. But there's more to the story, all - a certain song from Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 got my attention as of late and I began the tracker process for said upcoming song cover; I'm looking forward to sharing it with you when finalization is done.
There are some other things music operations management related stuff that I need to see about relaying to you all as we once again catch up from all these horrid backend hurdles that I had to endure since two to three months ago; they will be elaborated on in separate posts in the coming weeks because once again I'm at my town library's computer area just to get this formal "monthly greetings entry" written up and posted to offically begin this new month of August for these operations. But this one thing is clear: we are slowly getting our music arrangement groove back to share for the remainder of this year, and you can count on it. Until then, I still appreciate everyone's patience as we continue to make progress on the backend.
As always, if you still have any further music operations related inquiries that need my attention, please don't hesitate to send me an email letting me know of the case and I'll get back with you as soon as I'm able to do so. Take care for now, and let's look forward to what's coming for this new month of August! I'm gone for now.
