"2023 Anniversary Statement" Currently In The Works - Latest Progress as of 4/29/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, April 29, 2023 - 09:34 AM
All right, faithful friends and followers of these music operations as a whole - I've just snagged the chance during the early part of this Saturday morning to give you all an update regarding the progress of my writing the "formal anniversary statement" for 2023.
So a few days ago, specifically this past Wednesday, I did manage to see about starting the writing process of it. I still have a ways to go because the "issues" I have to address on it are still in "very important territory"; once again, details on the statement are still under lock and key - however, when I get this done and posted on the site, it'll once again be a very important read because I've ran into some "clues" that are a bit "concerning" in nature not just for these beloved music operations as a whole, but for all videogame music fan communities in general.
I'm hoping to get this finished up so that it'll be posted during the course of next week as we start the new month of May. So make sure you keep it bookmarked to this front page and/or watch out for related announcements on our Twitter account, Discord server, or IRC channel for when said anniversary statement document for 2023 becomes available. See you all then.

Latest "Mario Kart Tour" Song Cover: "Athens Dash"
Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, April 24, 2023 - 08:13 PM
Here we go again, awesome people - just days after the respective "Spring Tour" got into action for Mario Kart Tour last Wednesday, yours truly has done yet another Super Nintendo music styled cover targeting the latest "tour exclusive" course: "Athens Dash".
What's even more good news is that so far this year in regards to new song covers targeting songs for Mario Kart Tour, I haven't had to call on the instrument set for Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge... yet. And thankfully, that wasn't the case here either; to match the style of the original song itself, I called on Konami's instrument set for Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge instead. As you may recall, this instrument set in question has been used in my doing song covers targeting stuff from Mario Sports Mix, Game & Wario, and Mario Party Superstars, just to name a few. And now, at least one song cover using the Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge instrument set can be added to the mix as of tonight.
You can check out the latest Mario Kart Tour song cover by accessing the link below.
New File No. |

SNES Music Arrangement Style/Featured Instrument Set |

Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge |
That's it for tonight, everyone; as always, if you have any problems in listening to the above linked file in question, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible. See you all later.

New "Mario Kart Tour" Song Cover Incoming / 2023 Anniversary Statement Still In The Works
Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, April 23, 2023 - 09:32 PM
Hey there, good evening, friends; snagging the opportunity on this Sunday night to briefly get you all caught up on what's happening with yours truly related to the music operations backend. Real life matters have still been getting in the way, but I've still been checking my planbook as well as music operations related correspondence to prepare for what to share with you all next. And hopefully we can do just that before this month of April is in the history books.
First and foremost, as some of you might have probably speculated, the Mario Kart Tour music arrangement spark has struck yours truly yet again; you might have noticed that recently as announced via this post from the Mario Kart Tour Twitter account, a new "tour exclusive" course got in action. At this time, I'm doing final checks on the "tracker source file" I've managed to do regarding this newest Super Nintendo music styled cover; hopefully, I can see about getting it posted to share with you all prior to midweek.
Second, I still haven't forgotten about getting the formal music operations' annual statement for 2023 written up. Hopefully after I get the latest music cover posted along with sorting other outside matters to get a much clearer head, I can at least start the process of writing the document itself. I do have an idea about the "issues" that need to be addressed in the upcoming document in question; hopefully, we can see about getting this done and posted before the end of this month or during the start of May. Stay tuned.
That's it for now, everyone; as always, if you have any further questions about what has been shared in this posting in question, please don't hesitate to let me know via this main contact form. See you all later.

Focused on Writing The "Anniversary Statement", But Still Checking Your Correspondence!
Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, April 10, 2023 - 03:07 PM
Good afternoon, friends; I hope all of you had a fantastic Easter weekend. So here's what's happening with yours truly at this time - although I'm still in the search for new candidates of modern Super Mario game installments (main, spinoff, and branched) to do the Super Nintendo music arrangement process on, the goal for the majority of this month is to get the "formal anniversary statement" for 2023 written up and posted before the "summer months period" arrives in late May. Details about it are still under lock and key, but I will say it's going to definitely be yet another important read once I finish writing this up, so stay tuned.
That said, and in the meantime, don't forget that I still need to hear from you all correspondence wise in general for these music operations as a whole - whether it be from our main contact form and/or online suggestion forms, it still gives me clues in regards to what you hope I'll see about considering for future covers in the months to come. I'll elaborate further about this in the upcoming statement as well, but just reminding you all that these forms still do exist. Just be mindful of the "submission limit cap" by our form processing provider at Formspree.
That's all for now, everyone; if there are any new developments as always, I'll be sure to let you all know. Take care for now.
