"Music File Statistics" Rankings Document Updated As Of 2/20/2023

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, February 20, 2023 - 08:39 PM

Tonight, everyone, yours truly snagged the chance to get our music operations' "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document updated due to the additions that were made late last week.

I still haven't forgotten to see about getting a new dedicated article written up regarding the recent activity on said document in question; as I said many times before, so many real life situations have been getting in my way as of late. Hopefully I can finally find the opportunity during the course of the coming weekend to get this out of the way and bring my planbook's backlog down... slowly.

In the meantime, I can still say this: if you take a look at the rankings changelog page, I wasn't joking when I stated in a previous post that the document was going to be getting rocked when the first music file additions of 2023 came down late last week. On the featured Mario game installments side, Mario Tennis Aces has advanced up to the #19 rank (tied with Paper Mario: Color Splash and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX). On the featured Super Nintendo music instrument set side, SmartBall (Sony Imagesoft) advance to the #16 rank (tied with the Disney's Bonkers instrument set (Capcom/Disney)). Additionally, the Mega Man Soccer instrument set (Capcom) is slowly but surely advancing as well (after posting a related update involving a new song cover targeting the Mario Tennis Aces score); but as of the date and time of this posting, it still currently sits in the #18 rank.

Once again, I really hope that I'll get this new dedicated article out of the way this coming weekend regarding said document update; until then, I have a feeling this is only the beginning on how the rankings of both the featured Mario installments for these operations as well as the featured Super Nintendo music instrument sets involved for our covers will shape up for the rest of this year. Stay tuned, and I'll see you all next time around. I'm gone for now.

Giving Shoutouts For Our Music Operation's 13th Anniversary

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, February 17, 2023 - 08:56 PM

Thanks be to the Lord that we've managed to make it to this day in our beloved music operations as a whole... because yours truly has been maintaining this precious endeavor for 13 years now combining my enthusiasm for Nintendo's Super Mario videogame series as a whole along with my doing Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers for the "modern" videogame series under this franchise starting from the Wii/WiiU console installments all the way up to the Nintendo Switch game outings, and even the mobile app installment, Mario Kart Tour.

Who ever thought that my getting certain leads/materials to begin doing song covers from Super Paper Mario would literally evolve into almost 500 postings that span amongst 37 featured game installments... and the thing is, although I'm still been fighting "personal issues" since late last year due to a close family member passing away and is with the Lord now... my passion for these endeavors as a whole is still on full throttle, as well as my enthusiasm for the Mario game series as a whole as well.

But that said, there are some very serious challenges that definitely need to be addressed during the course of this new anniversary. I'll elaborate more on that in the upcoming formal "anniversary statemement. In the meantime, during the course of hopefully next week, it's planned to get that "Anniversary Statement Suggestions Form" back in action on this site so all you faithful friends/listeners of these music operations as a whole can let me know what you *do* hope I'll address in this year's statement as well as how I should approach writing it.

This still needs to be said before I go because I just came back home from work obligations tonight: even though I'm still the sole author/administrator of this entire thing, this is still nothing without your honest and faithful support for yours truly. Along with thanking the Lord once again for this musical talent that has been given to me, I also thank you all for still sticking with me througout this journey and I look forward to continuing it for this new anniversary. Additionally, we definitely need to start increasing our "community numbers" for this place as well, but that's another post for another day.

That's all for now; here's looking forward to the next major milestone for this beloved operations as a whole. See you all later.

Newest "Mario Kart Tour" Arrangement Cover - "Piranha Plant Cove"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, February 16, 2023 - 11:12 PM

And just in time before our "anniversary day" hits tomorrow for these music operations as a whole, I've finally snagged the chance to see about posting our first Super Nintendo music styled arrangement of yet another addictive song from Mario Kart Tour in 2023 Piranha Plant Cove.

That's right, everyone - after a little over one week since the respective "Exploration Tour" got into action for the Mario Kart Tour mobile game app installment, I've managed to finish the tracker file process using Sony Imagesoft's SmartBall instrument set for sharing with you all tonight. Granted, this still pales in comparison to the original song itself from the game, but I still doubt that you'll be disappointed by the end results being shown here. You can check said music cover in question via this link below:

On a side note, there is still an issue related to Mario Kart Tour that still remains unresolved: getting confirmation on who are the original composer(s) for said installment in question. We posted this said case on this page during the course of last year and are patiently waiting for any legitimate leads to follow to solve this mystery; if you have any breakthroughs regarding the matter, please don't hesitate to let me know immediately. And as always, use that same contact form if you have any issues with accessing this new file posting itself. See you all later; take care for now.

First Music Arrangement Posting of 2023 - Two New Song Covers from "Mario Tennis Aces"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 - 05:06 PM

Here we go, friends; I'm excited to announce that we have our first batch of new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement postings for the 2023 year! Starting things off are two new covers targeting the score of Mario Tennis Aces that recently got on my planbook's radar since the very beginning of this year. And not a moment too soon, considering that it's been a little over three year since this game page in question got active to house my song covers targeting this game's score written by the very talented Motoi Sakuraba of CAMELOT.

The first cover targets the song heard when we're facing off as Mario in the "Adventure Mode" portion of the game against a formidable "final boss" named Bowcien (who is actually Bowser that has been "possessed" by the evil curse unleashed by a tennis racket spirit who goes by the name of Lucien). What got my attention is that this song is actually an arrangement of two Bowser themes from Super Mario 64, and that's why this said song itself made it into my planbook since the beginning of this year. The involved instrument set for this cover is Konami's Lethal Enforcers.

The second cover targets the song heard when we have successfully won a tennis match itself in Mario Tennis Aces and the results are shown with us being declared the "winner". I've been wanting to cover this simple, yet addictive song for quite a while now; now, that moment has finally arrived for yours truly to share with you all. This song cover uses the instrument set from Capcom's Mega Man Soccer (which I have used many times before to cover songs from this game, as well the previous Mario Tennis installments like Mario Tennis OpenMario Tennis: Ultra Smash. Oh, and let's not forget some songs Mario Golf: Super Rush were covered using this instrument set as well).

Without further ado, the two new files for you all to check out can be accessed via the links below:

New File No.

Lethal Enforcers
2
Tennis Match Results - Win
Mega Man Soccer

And as always, if you have any issues with the loading of said audio files in question here, please don't hesitate to let me know via the main contact form immediately so I can look into the matter further. Take care for now.
