"Valentine's Day Greetings" for 2023 / New Music Arrangement Postings Incoming Prior To This Friday
Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 - 07:49 PM
Good evening, friends; I just got back home to snag the chance of writing this annual "Valentine's Day Greetings" blog entry here on the site hoping that you all had a fantastic Valentine's Day itself on your end with your family and friends whenever you had those opportunities. Here's hoping it has been nothing but positivity from start to finish for all of you awesome supporters/listeners of these beloved music operations as a whole.
And speaking of the music operations itself here, this posting is to also confirm that as of the date and time of this blog posting itself, I'm currently dealing with the "final phases" with the three new Super Nintendo music styled covers that I've been recently working on - two from Mario Tennis Aces and one from Mario Kart Tour. So far, the plan is to see about getting the two new arrangements targeting songs from Mario Tennis Aces posted for these operations during the course of tomorrow (2/15/2023); after that, get the newest Mario Kart Tour music arrangement posted during the course of this Thursday (2/16/2023).
This also resulted in my having to hold off writing that article that I originally planned to write regarding where our "Music File Statistics" Rankings Document during the start of this new year (also due to real life family matters still being sorted out and other work obligations outside of here) until after these three postings get accounted for and the document gets updated as a result. I did give hints in this previous entry, however, saying that if my assumptions are correct, both ranking categories are going to start getting rocked for this first update of 2023.
Long story short once again... get ready, awesome people; the first postings will be on their way starting tomorrow. Take care until then, and I'll see you all next time around. I'm out.

Upcoming Music Arrangements Progress Update As Of 2/12/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, February 12, 2023 - 01:43 PM
Hey, good afternoon, friends; hope that you're all having a good weekend so far. Yours truly has snagged the chance to write this quick blog entry post to keep you updated on the progress of certain Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers to start off the 2023 year. If all goes to plan, it looks like we might be able to have them posted for you all to check out prior to the start of next weekend.
Here's what up: as I elaborated on the monthly greetings entry a little over one week ago, two songs from Mario Tennis Aces were recently on my planbook's radar for the Super Nintendo music styled arrangement cover process. I'm happy to announce they're both done; just waiting to see about getting them finalized and posted hopefully during the course of this coming week.
However, with that said, those two upcoming covers won't be alone. Recently, yet another song from the Mario Kart Tour mobile app installment caught my attention; details on what song it could be are still under lock and key - however, I can say that I'm happy that for the first time this year in case of covers featuring songs from this game (as well as the upcoming two covers targeting songs from Mario Tennis Aces), even though I'm still a big fan of Geoff and Tim Follin's instrument set for Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge, NONE of these upcoming three files to be posted called on that set to be used. I can also say that when all three files get posted during the course of this week, God willing, this document might be shaken up a bit. You'll find out what I mean when the time comes.
Long story short, everyone - get ready for the first music arrangement postings from yours truly to get added during the course of this coming week itself. As always, make sure to have this page bookmarked so you don't miss out on when the respective announcements have been made for the new postings themsevles. Until then, see you awesome people later.

Nintendo Direct Incoming for 2/8/2023
Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 - 08:47 AM
This just in from my sources as I've been working on getting the first Super Nintendo music styled covers finalized, everyone - the Nintendo company as a whole has just announced that a Nintendo Direct is incoming and is scheduled to be posted during the course of 2/8/2023.
Music operations wise, you all know the drill from me: during the course of tomorrow, I'll be checking said presentation in question (which can be viewed here) to obviously see if there are any featured Mario and branched game installments to look out for and also determine the "priority status" for new Super Nintendo music styled arrangement covers for said games following the announced release days for them.
Here's hoping for the best, and I'll see you all next time around. Take care for now.

February 2023 Greetings: The "Anniversary Month" Is Here / Possible "Hints" at Upcoming Music Covers...?
Posted by Merit Celaire on Sunday, February 5, 2023 - 02:54 PM
Greetings, everyone; first and foremost, let me sincerely apologize for taking so very long to write this formal "monthly greetings entry" when this brand new month of February arrived at our doorsteps a few days ago. Once again, real life matters outside of these music operations have still been attacking me like heck both on the health end and the family issues end since early last month sorting things out related to a passing within our network. But I'm still here and slowly trying my best to get back in the Super Nintendo music styled arrangement groove process for 2023; case in point, if you didn't notice from the previous blog entry before this one, I've been making progress on two songs from Mario Tennis Aces. I'm hoping that before our anniversary hits later on in this month, I can get them done so I can proceed with the finalization process to post them for sharing with you all; as always, I doubt that you'll be disappointed when they go live.
Speaking of which, and that's what brings me to the second part of this monthly greetings entry itself - so a few days ago when February arrived and I was changing the wall calendars at my house, I ran into this certain image in question featuring a certain "lead Mario girl" which graces the aforementioned February month via the Super Mario 2023 Wall Calendar from Abrams Books:
If you all can recall correctly in terms of the top half of said image, the promo art in question is of our Princess Peach in relation to the Nintendo Switch game installment Super Mario Party that was released a few years ago (specifically this one, right here). But let's get to the point - after encountering this promo art in question, the question for my planbook on the backend is this: could it be a said "clue" on what could be targeted from either this game or the following Mario Party installment (named Mario Party Superstars) down the road...? God only knows that answer, but at least one of the two Mario Party installments that were done for the Nintendo Swtich console has a page here that was added almost one year ago.
The bottom line on the upcomng music arrangement content end: if all goes well, get ready - because it seems that it's apparently going to start during the course of this month, just in time for our "anniversary" for these music operations as a whole to hit later this month. Look forward to it, awesome people!
Oh, almost forgot - it is also planned for two forms to return to this site during the course of this month as well: one will be to once again targeting what you all hope I'll address for this year's formal "anniversary statement" for these music operations as a whole and another one is apparently for trying to get a certain part of this site back in action; it has been literally lying "dormant" since 2018 and it really concerns me greatly. More details to come at a later date so stay tuned on this front as well.
In the meantime, and once again, even as the weeks progress, you still don't have to wait to get in touch with me regarding what songs in question you hope I'll consider for my planbook down the road; if you've run into a possible candidate for me to review, make sure to let me know via this form. Additionally, we're still in great need to increase our community numbers on all our interactive portals including Twitter, Discord, IRC, and SoundCloud; but I'll elaborate on that more in another post later on this coming week.
Until then, and even I can tell this "monthly greetings entry" is starting to get lengthy so it's time for me to end it here (plus I'm still in the "weekend mode", after all); but make no mistake that my Super Nintendo music style arrangement passion is still strong on the backend as well as my enthusiasm for the Super Mario videogame series as a whole. Here's hoping for the best in the coming weeks this month as well as our upcoing "anniversary" down the road. See you all later.
