"Mario Kart Arcade GP DX" Page Has Arrived!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, April 19, 2018 - 04:57 PM

No, friends, you're not reading that wrong. And I have been waiting for this day to share with you one of the Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I have been working on targeting the musical score of Mario Kart Arcade GP DX!

I say "one of the two" because I wanted to get this one finalized and posted as soon as possible... and a bit of trivia: I had to snag many chances to make progress on this said song during "recovery" while at my friends place months ago. That song in question you ask? Well, it's none other than the Peach Castle course! And it's not only to reiterate my undying enthusiasm for the Mario girls and their related courses, but the musical score for the course itself is beyond addictive from start to finish.

This Super Nintendo music style arrangement itself uses the instrument set done for the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge game by Geoff and Tim Follin (which to this day is still dominant on our statistics document!). And you'll find out why I was using that set in question when you check out this latest Super Nintendo music style arrangement addition right here.

As always, if you have any problems with accessing this newest file itself, please don't hesitate to send an email my way, or if you have an active forum account, you can let me know via the related thread that I will post there shortly giving heads-up on this latest addition. I'm out for now, everyone; take care for now!

Your Suggestions Still Needed For 2018!

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, April 13, 2018 - 08:45 PM

As you all are aware, everyone, I am still in that "recovery mode" for our music operations overall here; however, at least thank the Lord that progress is slowly being made to get things back to complete normalcy, especially before the summer months arrive in about one to two months from now. That doesn't mean that I'm still not able to hear from you regarding suggestions for these music operations overall... because they're still needed!

If you do have a suggestion idea which you think I should look further into as the months forge ahead, please do not hesitate to use this email form letting me know what you have in mind. Please be aware that I can't investigate every possibility presented to me, but I'll make sure to read them all! If you have an account with us at our site forums, then we have opened up this thread for you to place your suggestions there as well; same as above, I can't investigate every suggestion that's posted, but you can bet I'll keep close tabs on what's being submitted on that thread there also.

That's it for now because I have to now prepare for switching gears into the "weekend mode" in just a few hours. Take care until next time, everyone!

Important Announcement/Forum Posting Catch-Up

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 - 02:13 PM

Okay, friends - at our site's Forum Portal area, I have just posted a very important announcement that you all need to see about reading as soon as possible. You can check it out by going here.

Repeating a portion of it because it's also part of this entry's subject; at this time, I am currently on the forums itself doing some major forum post catch-up to hopefully get real action back over there since it's been months after my last posts there (primarily to announce the forums area itself being open again, but the "activity" after that was... really, really slow to nothing).

Also, I'm still trying my best to find the previous members to get them back on board; but as always, we're always looking for new folks to join us too! If you haven't done so already and meet the criteria of being a dedicated fan of Nintendo's Super Mario video game series and our Super Nintendo music style arrangement efforts, by all means don't hesitate to join us by registering your account. We look forward to welcoming you into our fanbase here.

Take care for now, everyone; and I'll see you all later on the forums itself. I'm out.

Music File Statistics Document Updated (4/11/'18)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 - 02:22 PM

Finally snagged the time to get this taken care of, friends - this afternoon, for all you "statistics buffs" out there, following the recent Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I posted targeting the score of Super Mario Odyssey, our music operation's "file statistics document" has been updated as well.

As always, you'll be able to access the revised file in question by going to this page in the "Extras" section, then clicking on the "Main Rankings Document" link to initiate the download and view it. At last check after putting in the necessary changes, it's obvious that on the "Featured Installments" portion for our music operations, Super Mario Odyssey makes its debut tied in number 17 (alongside Mario Tennis Open); however, I doubt that it's going to stay that way for long since I obviously have even more targets planned in relation to the musical score of that game.

On the "Featured Super Nintendo Music Instrument Sets" portion of the the rankings list, after the recent music file additions the other day, the Disney's Aladdin (SNES Version - Capcom) instrument set is now tied with the Disney's Bonkers (SNES Version - Capcom) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (SNES Version - Konami) sets at number 12 (all three sets have been used 9 times so far in my music arrangement endeavors here). Will future arrangements that I post targeting the music of Super Mario Odyssey upset these rankings even further? You'll have to find out as the months forge ahead!

As always, if you have any issues with the file itself in question, please don't hesitate to contact me via email or leaving me a support inquiry on our forums. Take care, all!
