October 2021 Greetings: New Music Arrangement Content Possibly Incoming Starting This Month...?

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, October 1, 2021 - 11:16 AM

And here we are, faithful friends/followers of these beloved music operations being managed by yours truly... we've now reached month number two (out of these "final four months" of this 2021 year). I have to keep this short and sweet because as I'm writing this, I'm taking care of some other important stuff before having to head for my work obligations outside of here in a few hours from now.

So here's what has been going on as of late: amongst all these "outside obligations" that I have just stated above, I'm still slowly but surely trying to see about snagging the chances of working down this music arrangement planbook backlog. And I know many of you are asking this just as much as I am: when in God's name will we see new Super Nintendo music styled covers?

I still don't have any ETAs at this time, but I can assure you that I'm determined as well on my end to see about getting most of this backlog cleared before the end of this year. But my hope is that we can start on said process beginning with during the course of this month. Not to mention that it's been a few months since I posted these additions during the course of June (targeting a song from Paper Mario: The Origami King) and nothing new has been shared with you all ever since then. But here's hoping that this month will be when we can start to break this "dry spell"; fingers crossed, so help me God.

In the meantime, if you haven't done so already, I'm still in need of you all to send me your "song candidate suggestions" to also give me leads in regards to which songs you hope that I might plan to do Super Nintendo music style covers in the months to come after this posting. But make sure to read this previous posting regarding song candidate submissions involving stuff from Mario Golf: Super Rush, WarioWare: Get It Together!, and the upcoming Mario Party Superstars. Then after reading those guidelines, go to this respective form to let me know what songs you hope I'll have targeted for my planbook.

Thanks once again to all of you in advance for your patience as we definitely try to see about getting back into the music arrangement content groove itself during this brand new months. As always, I'll let you folks via all available social media portal angles (as well as this site itself) to know when new music covers go live. Until then, all of you continue to stay safe, have an awesome month of October (as well as an awesome first weekend of this brand new month itself), and I'll see you all again soon. I'm gone for now.

"Song Candidate Submissions" Form: Latest Reminders/Requests As Of 9/29/'21

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 - 10:36 AM

I posted a recent announcement in regards to our "Song Candidate Submissions" form during the past weekend, but I've finally snagged the chance to make sure to write a blog entry posting for this main part of the site to make sure that you all are aware of a few things. Please make sure that you understand and respect these following requests before proceeding further in filling out this form:

(1) If you've run into possible song candidate suggestions that you hope I'll do Super Nintendo music style covers on which involve the games Mario Golf: Super Rush and WarioWare: Get It Together!: These two installments don't have their respective game pages implemented on this site yet; when filling out the form with the song candidates that you have in mind, please don't forget to mention one of the two games in question 2B of the form (and after you have selected "None of these" from the game list dropdown in question 2A).

(2) In the case of your submitting song candidate suggestions to me regarding stuff from Mario Party Superstars: Please hold off on doing the process on this end until on or after this upcoming installment's release date (which is currently slated for 10/29/'21).

If there are any updates in regards to these above requests in question or when certain "restrictions" have been lifted, I'll definitely make sure to let you all know at the earlier opportunity I may have. Until then, thanks in advance for your honoring these above mentioned reminders, and I'll see you all later.

New "Music Arrangements Outlook" Article Up - Nintendo Direct (9/23/'21)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, September 25, 2021 - 02:15 PM

Heads-up, faithful Super Nintendo music style arrangement listeners/followers - the latest "Music Arrangements Outlook" article from yours truly has just been written up and posted for you all to read, hot off the presses.

As the blog entry's subject title already shows, this deals with the two Mario game installments that have been showcased in the recent Nintendo Direct video presentation which was posted a few days ago.

The real question from a music operations standpoint here is if any of my "priority statuses" in terms of upcoming Super Nintendo music style covers of certain songs from the two games have changed from the last "Music Arrangements Outlook" article that I wrote a few months back during the E3 2021 happenings. You'll be able to find out that answer by going here. Later, everyone; I'm out.

Nintendo Direct Video Presentation Posted (9/23/'21); New "Music Arrangements Outlook" Article Being Worked On Soon

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, September 24, 2021 - 10:50 AM

All right, everyone; I have received word that the recent "Nintendo Direct" presentation that was shared during the course of yesterday is now available for viewing for those of you who may have missed the livewatch. The video itself can be seen by going here.

Second, I did manage to see about checking the presentation itself out last night and without any disclosing details on this blog entry for now, two involved Mario game installments were shown. I'm hoping that during the course of this weekend or during the early part of next week, a new "Music Arrangements Outlook" article will be posted to announce my "verdicts" on possible upcoming Super Nintendo music style covers involving songs from the involved games featured in the recent Nintendo Direct presentation.

As always, keep it bookmarked on this front page (and/or follow us at our Twitter PortalIRC channel at EsperNet, and Discord) for when I give the word on when said article goes live. See you awesome people later.
