"Mario Kart Tour": 2nd Anniversary Reached (And Other Related Reminders)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, September 23, 2021 - 09:43 AM

All right, friends; I was hoping to have gotten this posted during the course of yesterday, but it was very late at night when I was writing this posting to give you all here a heads-up about the incoming Nintendo Direct presentation that's going to be hitting the 'net later on today.

But in the meantime, and to the focus of the subject of this blog entry: for those of you who are followers of the Mario Kart Tour installment, Nintendo marked the 2nd anniversary of this mobile app installment during the course of yesterday. And as many of you videogame music hobbyists know, some of the musical scores from it have been very addictive to this day. Yours truly would know this too, or I wouldn't have done these Super Nintendo music styled covers of some of them since two years ago.

That all said, a few quick reminders:

(1) Although yours truly has done these SNES music styled covers of Mario Kart Tour since two years back as well, we still haven't gotten any confirmations yet on who the composers for this installment actually are. I especially want to see about getting this page up to date with that information, so if any of you have any leads in terms of who they could possibly be, please don't hesitate to send me an email with said details on this matter so I can investigate on it further.

(2) At this time, I'm currently focused on trying to clear out a majority of this backlog before year's end. But in the meantime, I'm still accepting "song candidate suggestions" in regards to what do you all hope that I might target next from this game as the months forge ahead. Remember that you're able to see about submit those candidates via this form (just make sure that you have selected Mario Kart Tour from the game installment dropdown list in question 2A).

Thanks in advance for your time, support, and consideration as we make further progress on possible new SNES music styled covers from this aforementioned installment that's still going strong for two years now. Take care until next time, awesome people; I'm out for now.

Nintendo Direct Incoming For 9/23/2021

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 - 11:25 PM

Hey there, everyone; a very huge apology for the delay in posting this news that I received from my close sources from earlier this morning; as the majority of you should be aware of by now, the Nintendo company has given offical word that a Nintendo Direct presentation is incoming and set to be posted for during the course of tomorrow, 9/23/2021.

As always, yours truly is definitely making preparations on my end to catch the presentation itself tomorrow and be on the lookout for any upcoming Mario game installments that will be featured on it. Not to mention that I'll be checking on Mario related stuff in that presentation very closely in hopes I can update any "music arrangements outlook" stuff from the last article that I posted. I have a feeling that the upcoming Mario Party Superstars game might be featured so I can see about possibly updating that one at least when it comes time for me to write the related "Music Arrangements Outlook" article focused on this upcoming Direct presentation.

Until then, take care until I see you all next time around... hopefully, after I have examined tomorrow's Nintendo Direct presentation entirely. Stay tuned.

Pausing To Remember The Tragic 9/11/2001 Events 20 Years Later

Posted by Merit Celaire on Saturday, September 11, 2021 - 10:53 AM

Hi there, friends; taking some time this morning to pause and pay our respects on this solemn day because 20 years ago today, many tragic and horrific events unfolded on our beloved United States that changed everyone's lives here (and around the world) forever. And although we have come a long way from ensuring we never experience any events like this ever again in our lifetimes, we're still making sure to "never forget" the horrific attacks that were made against our country, but to also remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so many of us could still be alive and standing here today, including yours truly.

With the above being said, if you all can recall from five years ago, I did a Super Nintendo arrangement cover of a song called "Bounding Through Time" (from the Nintendo Wii game "Super Paper Mario") paying tribute to the "15 year anniversary" remembering those same attacks against our country and the many sacrifices that were made to hold those who were responsible for these attacks accountable. That same tribute that I did back then is still relevant today in this "20th anniversary rememberance", so if you haven't listened to the specified song cover yet, make sure to go to this page where you can find the link to the file in question.

That's all I have to share on this solemn morning, and let's continue to pray for one another as we still continue to remember this important day in history that's been forever etched in out lifetimes while still looking forward to the future in the hopes that we will never experience horrific events like this ever again down the road. God's blessings to you all, and may God bless America. I'm out.

"WarioWare: Get It Together!" - Release Day Today / Song Candidate Suggestions Finally Open

Posted by Merit Celaire on Friday, September 10, 2021 - 08:36 AM

All right, good morning, awesome people! As you can already see on this blog entry's title and the corresponding main visual image, release day has arrived for the latest WarioWare game installment, "WarioWare: Get It Together!"

This also has allowed me to post these two important announcements regarding upcoming Super Nintendo music style arrangement plans to cover certain songs from this game. First, some "inside sources" have given me word regarding the game's composers, so we've already gotten the green light to get the process started here. In fact, as you can see from our "Music Arrangements Progress Page", yours truly has already begun that said process. As always, I'll keep you posted on any new developments on how things are coming along especially in regards to when the new covers will get posted for these operations for you all to check out in due time.

The second announcement is that you all are now able to submit any "song candidate suggestions" via this form to let me know which songs from WarioWare: Get It Together! you hope I"ll see about considering. But since we don't have an active game page for this site yet to house Super Nintendo music style covers targeting songs from said installment, make sure to note the game title in question 2B of the form.

Thanks once again for your help on these things here, and as stated earlier, I'll keep you all posted on any latest developments regarding upcoming music arrangement covers targeting this game's songs as the months progress. I'm gone for now.
