What's In The Plans During The "Nintendo E3 2021 Coverage Period"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, June 14, 2021 - 07:47 PM

That's right, everyone; in just under 24 hours from this posting, the Nintendo company as a whole will be front and center of the E3 2021 happenings that are currently going on as we speak. There is no doubt that a massive following will be watching tomorrow to see what is going to be announced/revealed at last from these guys in hopes there will be something to satisfy everyone's "personal gameplay interests" for the rest of this year (as well as next year) in regards to Nintendo Switch game happenings. Yours truly is included in that mix to see what Nintendo is going to share in the upcoming presentation; once again, you're able to check it out when the time comes by going to this link that heads to Nintendo of America's E3 2021 web portal.

That all said, in regards to the music operations front here, here's is what's going on: first, like in previous E3 events, my music arrangement procedures will be currently "on pause" because the focus will be on what will Nintendo be sharing during its presentation tomorrow morning. I will be checking the presentation itself very carefully to see about what upcoming Mario game installments (main and branched) will be featured on there.

After that, you all know the drill: if there are any upcoming Super Mario installments that are shown in the presentation, I'll be checking stuff very carefully on the music angle so I can prepare an upcoming article to see which games will be on my planbook's radar for the coming months to find new song candidates to do Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers on.

On a side note: keep in mind that I still will be checking any incoming correspondence from the majority of active forms on this site including, but not limited to: the main email form, the Discord server invite link request form, as well as the suggestion forms area. Just know if there is a possible delay in response after my receiving new legitimate inquiries from you all, it's all because of what has been stated above.

Until then, take care until I see you all again after I have checked tomorrow's Nintendo E3 2021 Direct presentation out in its entirety for any new reveals. See you all later.

"Paper Mario: The Origami King": Two New Music Arrangement Covers Targeting Yet Another "Boss Fight Theme"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, June 10, 2021 - 10:12 PM

My gosh, everyone, how in the world do these composers at Intelligent Systems (who are the developers of the latest Paper Mario installment, Paper Mario: The Origami King) come up with these insanely addictive "boss fight" themes for their games? These latest Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers that I've just finished the process on and posting for you all tonight are evidence of how addictive they are.

This time around, the covers that I've done here to share with you all tonight target yet another "boss fight" song which is heard when players have managed to ultimately corner the so-called "King Olly" at Origami Castle and initiate the first phase of a very long "final confrontation"... and it involves a "battle of the vellumental powers" between King Olly and Olivia.

Like my previous arrangement attempts at boss fight songs from this installment in question, there are two "versions": the "main theme" and the "ring setup theme". Both also use the Super Nintendo music instrument set heard in the "Disney's Aladdin" game (developed and published by Capcom).

That's it for now, everyone; I wanted to see about getting this one off my planbook's music arrangement target backlog before the "E3 2021" happenings officially start in less than a day from now. As always, if you have any problems with accessing the aforementioned files in this announcement post, don't hesitiate to email me as soon as possible with your concerns. See you all later.

Nintendo Direct (E3 2021 Edition) Announced For 6/15/'21

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - 07:03 PM

Well, can you believe this, everyone... hours after yours truly posted our "monthly greetings entry" for this brand new month of June, the Nintendo company as a whole posted a formal announcement on all their social media channels and on Nintendo.com that along with their participating in this year's E3 2021 happenings (June 12 - 15), an upcoming "Nintendo Direct" presentation is in the plans to be shown during the final day of the worldwide videogame industry/videogame hobbyist event. As the corresponding image for this blog entry post says, the aforementioned presentation itself is slated for viewing during the course of 6/15/'21.

As always, yours truly will definitely be dropping everything during that time to check that presentation out very carefully for any upcoming Super Mario (and branched) game installment announcements that may be revealed during this time (besides the upcoming Mario Golf: Super Rush game which is slated for release later this month, although I have a strong feeling this may get a mention as well in the presentation). But in this case for the important article for these music operations, it's obviously to answer the question about if there will be more song candidates for me to look out for in those announced games for the Super Mario series, if any to prepare for the Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover process in the months ahead.

Stay tuned, awesome people! I have no doubt that when June 15th comes around, we're going to run into some big news. Until then, I'm gone; see you all later.

June 2021 Greetings: The "Summer Months Period" Has Arrived Again

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - 07:57 AM

No joke about the title itself for this blog entry, everyone; we've now officially reached the "summer months period" which includes our counting down the days until the annual E3 2021 event commences in a few weeks from now to see what the videogame companies have to offer for the rest of this year as well as the upcoming 2022 year. Of course, since these music operations mostly focus on Nintendo's Super Mario video game series, yours truly will obviously be on the lookout to see if the Nintendo company as a whole will showcase any related installments that we are to look out for (alongside the upcoming Mario Golf: Super Rush installment which is still scheduled for store shelf release later this month).

As far as these music operations themselves for this month: as I stated in the previous entry before this one, I'm dealing with "outside work obligations" at this time (but not as intense as last week) along with still dealing with some occasional "maintenance work" on the music operations' backend of things. I'm still hoping to get back in the "music arrangement groove" itself after the E3 2021 happenings have concluded and all related materials have been gathered up and studied out for any possible upcoming artices on this site before this month is out, hopefully.

In the meantine, I'm still waiting for responses from you all in regards to our active "suggestions forms" which can be see on this page. But another quick reminder that for the "Song Candidates Submissions" form: please refrain from sending me candidates in regards to covering songs from Mario Golf: Super Rush until after the game itself has released later this month. As I mentioned earlier, I'm still hoping that after all of this has been taken care of, I can get back to the Super Nintendo music style arrangement groove and further clear my planbook's backlog of song targets which include more songs from Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, and Mario Golf: World Tour, just to name a few.

Until then, everyone, let's hope for the absolute best as we get through this new month of June and as always, make sure to have this front page bookmarked for any breaking music operations news from yours truly. And make sure to also follow us on Twitterjoin us on our Discord server, and see about being a part of our IRC channel on EsperNet. We're trying our best to grow our numbers on all three angles there; I'm still hoping that I can see about giving a stauts update on this site's "forum portal" side as well in due time. See you all later.
