Preparing To Work On The Formal "11th Anniversary Statement"

Posted by Merit Celaire on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 - 07:04 AM

Was hoping to get this blog entry written up last night, but I was exhausted after posting this site update.

So as you all may already be aware, suggestion submissions in regards to what you folks think I should address in the upcoming formal 11th anniversary statement closed at the end of last Friday, March 26. Although I do thank those of you who have responded, I also have run into certain clues that need to be addressed in the upcoming formal statement statement as well. The "details" are still under lock and key (of course, until the statement itself gets posted, which I hope will be done before months end tomorrow; no guarantees though).

For now, just giving confirmation that I have been getting materials together to start work on the statemenet in question. Long story short, get yourselves ready, everyone; it's happening.

And of course, I'll let you all know via all interactive social media portals, as well as this site, when said statement gets posted. Stay tuned.

Music File Statistics Rankings Document Update (3/29/'21)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, March 29, 2021 - 10:11 PM

Tonight, I've finally snagged the time to update our music operation's "file statistics rankings document" once again to reflect the update posting which was made on 3/10/'21 (adding the 6 recent Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers targeting songs from Paper Mario: The Origami King).

Additionally, as of the date and time of this posting, an all new changelog page has been implemented on this site to note any recent activity regarding said updates to the aforementioned document. The new page should be a help to all of us in regards to keeping track on what's been going on regarding activity on rankings changes for both the featured Mario game installments for these music operations (main and branched) as well as the involved Super Nintendo music instrument sets.

As new music arrangement file postings get added over the coming months, both the document itself and the changelog page will be dealt with accordingly. Note that there will still be new articles on certain document updates should the situation warrant it.

As always, if you have any further questions about this recent update, please don't hesitate to send me an email. Take care for now, all; I'm out.

"Music Cover Sharing Community Search" Continues / Formal 11th Anniversary Statement Suggestions Reminder

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 - 09:41 PM

Hey there, faithul friends/followers/listeners of these beloved music operations; yours truly is still alive as you can tell by this recent blog entry post tonight. I've just been dealing with a few "depression attacks" and other important real life situations still trying to give me "mental blocks" as of late. But I'm trying to fight them so I can make more progress in attacking my planbook's music arrangement target backlog as the months forge ahead.

This post itself isn't about that, however. There are two things that I need to give you all word about before I call it a day. The first one is in regards to our search for other videogame music cover communities on the Internet to let them know about what we're doing to keep the Super Nintendo music arrangement style alive for modern Super Mario scored (main, spinoff, and branched). I might elaborate more on this in our upcoming "formal 11th anniversary statement" for these music operations as a whole; in the meantime, if you know of any places where I should investigate more into the "promotion" efforts, please don't hesitate to let me know via emailTwitter (if you're a confirmed follower there), IRC channel on EsperNet, or our Discord server (if you're a confirmed member after filling out your temporary invite link application details here).

Which brings me to the second subject of this point: the "formal 11th anniversary statement suggestion" response submssions themselves. Although I may be getting clues on my personal end in terms of what I might have to possibly address in the upcoming statement for these music operations as a whole, I'm still in need of many of you to submit any legitimate suggestions that you may have in regards to what you think I should address in the upcoming statement via and and all interactive means that I just linked to moments ago in the above paragraph. But make sure that this is done before the end of this Friday, March 26; that's when suggestions for the upcoming "formal 11th anniversary statement" will close and no further inquiries about this will be accepted at that point. I'm trying my best to see about snagging time to get this worked on and out the door before March is in the history books (as well the first quarter of the 2021 year), so your assistance on thiis matter especially would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for your patience as I'm still trying my best to slowly get back into the music arrangement groove full force (even though I've managed to do postings during the course of last month as well as earlier this month). We're only just getting started for this year itself, but we still have a long ways to go for this 2021 year... which, once again, may be elaborated in the upcoming formal 11th anniversary statement in due time. Stay tuned; I'm gone for now.

Rechecking on Recent Activity at our "SoundCloud Portal" (3/17/'21)

Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 - 09:52 AM

It's been a while since I shared news about activity regarding our "SoundCloud Portal", but this is just a quick reminder that it's still in action and I'm still posting "personal favorites" from all the Super Nintendo music style arrangements that I have done so far for these operations. You can check out which ones have made the cut by going to this page of our profile; recently, new personal favorites were added to the mix which involve certain postings that I've shared in recent weeks including song covers from WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Paper Mario: The Origami King.

Rumor is that I'm still running into new "personal favorite candidates" to add to our SoundCloud profile there, but at this time, I have to decide very carefully on new postings; As you all also know, the account itself is still a "free account" which only allows us with a total of 180 minutes of timespace (unless I upgrade to a Pro status on it). And currently, under the "free account" status, the available timespace we have stands at 20 minutes. I'm hoping that I can find the financial breakthrough that I need to do the upgrade, but until then, as I just said earlier, I'll be making decisions about new "personal favorites" on our SoundCloud account very, very carefully.

In the meantime, I'm still checking through our "interactive activity" related to our SoundCloud account itself and catching up on correspondence from certain folks. This also includes our hope to get them more involved in joining our other "social media portals" and even checking out and filling out our online suggestion forms to help me plan for the coming months ahead.

Until then, and another quick reminder, if you do have a SoundCloud account but haven't followed us yet to get word about new "personal favorites" being added from these music operations as a whole, you owe it to yourself to head on over to our profile page and click the "Follow" button. We still believe that this is one of those "major angles" that's deemed critical to get the word out about our music operations as a whole here; additionally, if my assumptions are correct in regards to interactive activity I've encountered after posting new "personal favorites" on there, this kind of gives a clue in regards to what the "majority" are expecting musicians like us to do in regards to raising awareness of our existence in the videogame music enthusiast community in general. See you all later.
