New Game Page Added: "Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit" (With 1 New Music Arrangement File)Posted by Merit Celaire on Thursday, December 24, 2020 - 11:58 AM![]() This game installment itself in general is a very unique one for the Nintendo Switch console in many ways that I won't explain here, but as expected from any Mario Kart game installment as of late, yours truly has run into some "song candidates" from this Nintendo Switch game to attempt doing Super Nintendo music style arrangement covers of. But for today, and just in time before I prepare to switch gears for the upcoming "Christmas holidays period" coming at us in just a few hours from now, the latest SNES music style cover that I've posted targets the song heard when we're viewing the "winning results" after we've finished a course in a satisfactory position (of course, we're always hoping that we end up being in 1st place when crossing the finish line). The song itself caught my atention like that; and you know what that meant... my getting to work on the backend using the Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge SNES music instrument set (as done by Geoff Follin/Tim Follin for the respective musical score there) and get this beloved arrangement done for sharing with you all. You're able to hear the new SNES music style cover of this song in question by going to this link. With that said, there's also rumor that I might be working on another song from the Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit game as well, but I'll be holding off on making more progress involving that until after we officially start the 2021 year in a little over two weeks from now. I'll obviously keep you posted as we forge onward. Until then, enjoy the song; and as always, if you have any difficulites accessing the file itself, send an email inquiry my way letting me know of your issue. Later, all! No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post New Game Page Added: "Mario Sports Superstars" (With 13 New Arrangement Postings and 4 Featured SNES Music Instrument Sets!)Posted by Merit Celaire on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 - 08:49 AM![]() Here's what's up: this "starter batch" of 13 new arrangement covers for the page also bring in tow for the majority them 5 newly featured Super Nintendo instrument sets as well! They include Biker Mice From Mars (Konami), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition (Bandai), Captain America and the Avengers (Data East/Mindscape/Realtime Associates), Super Soccer Champ (Taito) and Goal! (Jaleco). Some others involve instrument sets that I've used before including the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers game (also from Bandai) as well as Plok (Tradewest/Software Creations). I know this is a lot to digest, but I'm super excited about this and really enjoyed doing this first batch of stuff ever since earlier this year on the backend process of things. And I'm seriously hoping that you all enjoy listening to this all stuff too. With that said, let's not waste any more time; here are the song titles/file links in question sorted out by what Super Nintendo music instrument set was involved in the arrangement cover process itself for them: Arrangements that used Konami's Biker Mice from Mars: * Opening Theme * Baseball - Final Inning (Away Team) Arrangements that used Bandai's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition: * Golf - Dormie Hole Arrangements that used Data East/Mindscape/Realtime Associates' Captain America and the Avengers: * Baseball - Town Park (Home Team) * Baseball - Town Park (Away Team) * Baseball - Final Inning (Home Team) Arrangements that used Taito's Super Soccer Champ: * Soccer - Kingdom Stadium (Night) * Soccer - City Stadium (Night) Arrangements that used Jaleco's Goal!: * Baseball - Country Field (Away Team) Arrangements that used Bandai's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: * Tennis - Mushroom Cup * Tennis - Flower Cup Arrangements that used Tradewest/Software Creations' Plok: * Golf - Crystal Beach * Golf - Wild Valley Once again, thanks to those of you who assisted me in terms of finding composer leads in the Mario Sports Superstars game itself (as we suspected, the very talented Motoi Sakuraba of Camelot Software Planning was the one responsible for doing this game's score itself as a whole for the Nintendo 3DS game). Also, another shoutout to KungFuFurby for giving me leads to certain composer information related for specified Super Nintendo music instrument sets, especially in the case of Jaleco's Goal! and Taito's Super Soccer Champ. Once again, this definitely was a lot to write and digest very early in the morning and I hope to see about updating the "Music Arrangement File Ranking Statistics" document later today to reflect this new posting (which I know is going to be literally rocked as a result of this). Until then, as always, if you run into any problems with checking out the new file postings themselves, please don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible so I can get the situation rectified in a timely manner. See you all later. I'll be updating the respective "Music Arrangement File Statistics" document later today to reflect this addition because I have to see about heading out at this time. After that, watch out - there might be some major shakeups coming in the next music arrangement file posting, and you won't want to miss it! See you all then. No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post "Super Mario 3D Land": New Music Arrangement File Posting - "Clock Tower Course (World 7-4)"Posted by Merit Celaire on Monday, December 21, 2020 - 07:19 PM![]() If you can recall from the new music arrangement file postings that I've deal with during the course of last week, the respective "Mario Tennis Open" game page for our operations had to wait a course of seven to eight years before new SNES music style arrangement covers were done targeting the related score there. Now it's "Super Mario 3D Land"'s turn. After a seven year wait for the respective game page there as well (the last music arrangement file posting for it was done way back in 7/20/2013), I've finally snagged the chance to see about posting this newest Super Nintendo music style arrangement cover focused on the simple, yet addictive tune that's heard as we're navigating the "Clock Tower Course" (World 7-4). And the thing is, I've had this file on standby to be finalized since very early in the year, but then COVID-19 started to wreak havoc everywhere. ![]() This arrangement itself in question also uses the SNES instrument set that's heard from Accolade/Solid Software's "Bubsy: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind" (as created/composed by Matt Berardo for the related music score for that SNES game); it's been a long while since I've called on this set as well. We shall see if any new candidates will have me use it again in the months to come. As for the file itself to check out, you're able to do so here. Could there be more music arrangements on the horizon targeting the Super Mario 3D Land score itself after this one? We'll have to wait and see what next year brings, so as always, be on the lookout for any new developments on this angle! Until then, don't forget to send me an email if you encounter any issues with accessing this new file itself in question, and I'll see you folks again on the next music arrangement file posting. Later, all! No Comments | Music File Additions/Updates | Print this Post
